So, on those shores you’ve got about 2000+yrs of history. I suspect the mud larking fraternity has barley touched the surface. These finds would be lost forever if weren’t for them. And your channel is showing us these little beauties. Keep it up.

I saw an announcement from West Midlands Police today about how they are working with a team of volunteer detectorists to help find guns and knives etc that have been used for criminal activity.

When I was small (60 yrs ago) we used to chew the heads off the lead soldiers, kind of like chewing gum today, we were poor and on the edge of hunger most of the time, thats why chewing licorice root was popular, we didn't know they were harmful.
Think the modern find is a candle holder.
We used to chew tar! If I found any of my children doing that I'd go spare.
