If you're on 50/50, especially if you lost a lot of 50/50 recently, there's a random chance to activate the "Capturing Radiance". If it is activated, you'll see the animation AND you are guaranteed to get the temporary 5* of the banner. Overall that means the odds of getting a temporary 5* is increased from 50/50 to 55/45. Now if the "Capturing Radiance" animation doesn't trigger, it doesn't mean you lost your 50/50.

This 5-star selector is a couple years too late. Most of those characters are powercreeped to oblivion and pretty useless. I would preferred to get 10 pulls instead of this tbh. It changes nothing. It would be so much better if it was selector for all the 1.x limited characters.
The only thing I'm exited about is artifact selector tbh. But I don't keep my hopes up about it too knowing how they fumbled artifact strongbox system.

Saw so many people hyping it up so much. The improvements are good for genshin standards, but the excitement levels are TOO high. Saying this as someone who still plays the game. The artifact part is the best for me. The weapon change still feels like crap to me after playing WuWa. They just couldn't take the plunge and be like WuWa for weapons. Hoyo's greed is unimaginable.

14:13 the artifact system is what me made stop spending. Not getting a artifact with the right main stat and crit rate en chrit dmg for more then a year really ffed with my brain. The first 2 years i spend a few thousand on this game but knowing i would never get the most out of my spending on characters just really irritates me. If i now can get the right stats i can finally spend on characters again. Because the rng on rolling 4th substat is already enough of a headache, because 9-10 that stat is def of hp and 9-10 the artifact rolls all upgrade levels into that stat and that’s already a pain. When you finally get a crit rate, crit dmg and engr artifact and that last one rolls hp and every upgrade is hp, after getting this artifact for over a year, thats what happened thats why i stopped spending. And i hope more people did because thats what you need to do. You give them your money so They need to do everything to make it it’s worth spending on the game, and not get ffed later on After you spend money. Why do people are OK with this ? Is this a gable addiction thing? I can’t understand, are you also thinking that for example you put 100 dollars/euros in a slot machine you need to add more to get it back? Because at that point i would just quit, take my loss and never go back but do these people think you must put in more?
Also as someone that only plays coop 99% of the time because it’s better in every way possible, I’ve noticed less new players over the last year and matching takes longer when Hoyo does something that makes the community mad lol I can’t prove that but it’s just funny

An easy way to think of it is this: you're ahout to lose the 5050 but then you trigger the 10% chance to not lose the 5050 (the fancy orange/pink glow) then you win your 5050. The artifact elixir: You can make 1 per cycle from artifacts (we dont know what a cycle is) and you get 1 from f2p BP while premium gets i think 2? Also the costs for making an artifact vary: Flowers and Feathers cost 1 Elixir. Sands cost 3 Elixir Goblets cost 4 Elixir Circlet is still blank None of this is leaks. It was in the livestream if you slow it down. Except the feather im speculating on that. Also we're limited to crafting what seems to be 1 artifact per set with the Elixir per cycle.
c4 Mona is actually among the strongest buffers in the game, ahead of c2 Kazuha, c6 Bennett, and c3 Furina. She's also easy to use in teams that can't quite sync with the other top tier supports. So, if close to c4, I'd recommend Mona over any of the other choices.
I won't give them any W 4 years of shit and if Wuwa hadn't come out they wouldn't do anything to improve I have to see them go above and beyond rather than doing the bare minimum, I trust them to somehow fuck up the anniv like always Regardless I'll be keeping an eye out to see what happens...
