EDIT: Alright, a lot of you have asked, so here are some answers:
I MAY do a WuWa video in this style in the future, but not for a long time - I have a lot of other stuff I want to do first. I’m currently recording 200 Days of Genshin & 100 Days of Zenless Zone Zero. Assuming you all enjoy those, I plan on doing HSR in the future, too.
I also want to do content featuring other games - my existing community has been waiting AGES for me to post another Undertale fangame, and I have one game and one route in mind. I’m not sure how long it’ll be before that’s up, but if you’ve been waiting, you know what it is. I want to do a playthrough of Dark Souls 3, starting that sometime soon I think. And I want to 100% some more Sonic games. So a lot of fun variety stuff coming in the future, but I’ll also be working on my long term projects every day as well! Thank you all for all the support on this, I thought this video would end up doing terrible and just being something I was proud of, but you all really seem to enjoy what I put together, and the love I’ve been getting in this comment section means the world. The next Genshin video is gonna be a BANGER, you’re not ready. See you soon!

Dude is very positive, just rly enjoys the game, takes his sweet ass time, and his audience is rly RLY good at not spoiling anything for him. Like, he had no idea the traveler's name was Aether until he played We Will Be Reunited. Very enjoyable stuff.

Bro there is only one button.... To play the game that's the problem
Hell no as someone who was around 100 hours the exploration is just fight horde of enemies to get chest,timed challenges where it’s either kill mobs is 100 seconds or reach place in 30 seconds. And Puzzles and that sums up 90 percent of the exploration there is. The only thing that’s worth doing is the main quest. Don’t get me stared on inuzuma side quest each quest last like an hour to get 50 or 60 primos.if you really want to have fun and get meaningful rewards skip the side content of mondtstat liyue inuzuma and maybe sameru never played it. and go to Fontaine

@@itz_melody642 sheesh man I've been playing for like 6 months and have no xinqiu, mona, neuv. I just got furina. I got candace and barbara. The lack of hydro application in my potential teams is astonishing. Running Clorinde/Chevy overload with ganyu reverse melt since I have to hydro application and mmm, it works good. Yelan coming next cycle, so I'm saving for her and hopefully that solves all of my issues with hydro lmao

We get to gradually watch as this man falls down the gacha rabbit hole and becomes gamba addict. He was saving pulls and being smart until he started doing single pulls.

In his defense, every pull he made was a good investment, as in he wanted the 4 stars and/or the 5 star on the banner (except for Xiao, idk wtf went wrong there, i didn't see him use Xiao ONCE lmao)

Holy shit it is SO NICE to see someone truly enjoy genshin. Man made me relieve my early genshin days with the enthusiasm for questing, lore, exploration. Say what you want, but genshin does offer a wide variety of content to enjoy, and playing f2p like you did brings the experience to another level.
It was also cute to see someone geek over the fighting/boss fights, cz me too bro

Years gone by and people really do just kaeya bridge any body of water during early game haha
He's the only one who can cross water during early game
He also has long lasting ice, which lasts longer than his skill cooldown
The only other way to get to that island with no limited 5 stars is to fly there from stormbearer peak with max stamina and stamina food/Inazuma fan thing that gives speed. So all the other ways require some amount of investment although they can be faster.
he was made for it. He even applies more units of cryo and freezes water for longer specifically so you can bridge.
@bakublader1999 In one of Traveler's voicelines about how Inazumans got between islands before boats, they joke that Kaeya would've been working all the time because it's said they ice bridged between the islands. He's canonically an ice bridger. I think this was even confirmed during one of the summer events where Kaeya and Diluc bicker about not getting off an island because Diluc just melts Kaeya's bridge

I kinda feel bad that he went for C1 Neuvillette when it could've been an Arlechinno, but C6 Xingqiu is all that matters and his goal is to 36 stars abyss as fast as possible anyway.
It's not every day that I see someone who focuses on the meta but at the same time appreciates the story and values the little things in the game

What does he appriciates about the story? He clearly didn't care about it, just glazed over the cutscenes. Zero mention of the greatest story yet (fontaine) and the 2nd best (sumeru), but he lost his shit at the most mid story in genshin (inazuma)

I don't get how people got into genshin hating open-world exploration. It's literally promoted as such in ads and literally the app/play store photos
yeah, same here too, I loved exploring every location in this game but have no idea how others didn't like them...
People just get numb to it.
It's like an eventuality, there still people enjoying it but most people are like just look at the logistical "where the money at" sort of deal.

When I played it for the first time, fuhh the feeling of achievement when I did my first 100 and 1000 damage in the early game with kaeya and Heizou, now ngl the game runs stale once you reaches about AR50 and when you complete the story which is why I dont5do story quests until the final archon quests or around the x.8 versions
@@bluetorx3981 Yeah, he did daily quest in the very first day, did events and everything, knew Xq and Xiangling was good since the beginning, maybe the didnt play the game too much before but he knew everything important about the game.
sometimes i wonder what would happen if instead of playing the game 4 years ago i started playing fucking today, all these characters, teams, world quests, yara yara yara, there is just sooo much stuff to do i'd absolutely enjoy it, but not if i started from 0 NOW with knowing because it feels like a chore LMAO, i mean first experience NOW

I love how this video follows the natural progression of playing Genshin, from being so excited about the story to the frustration of wishing and artifact farming. This was a really great watch, furthered by the fact that I had the exact same reaction to the sentient mushroom in the Chasm and I loved seeing someone share the excitement for him.

Ya I never pulled Xiao until years later when I literally had all his supports, artifacts, and weapon.. I was just missing him. Tho he’s my 2nd best dps after Neuvi so he took a minute but the wait was well worth it!

just like you, i actually started genshin during the lantern rite in 2021! i agree that it’s the best time to start. you get a free 4 star, tons of rewards, and you grow a love for liyue that i probably wouldn’t have if i started at another time. the only downside was i started during keqing’s rate up banner 😭
Me who started during Albedo’s first banner and didn’t understand how standard characters worked so I pulled to get Keqing on her banner…
As a Kaeya Main until AR 55, your reluctance to ascend Kaeya is hilarious. To be fair, I pulled Chongyun early, which helped MASSIVELY with his DPS

it is genuinely so lovely to see how much you enjoyed the game. i've only been playing a year and a half and i finished all exploration, quests, story quests, etc. within about a year of playing and even though i dont have much left to do, it's still a blast to just run around or do randomised 4* boss rushes with friends, etc.

My personal highlight of the video: your reaction to the gigantic, glowing, TALKING mushroom 🤣🤣🤣 it also used to happen to me a lot that i would try to follow a quest only to get completely distracted by sth else on the map and forget what i was doing before 😂 and thank you for pointing out how hard the game can be early game/if you don't whale/pull immediately! I remember back when I first started I got so frustrated whenever people said "genshin is an easy game", because it wasn't for me and the game literally has multiple fights where you get punished for taking too long (most notably the oceanid). People tend to forget that once they get strong enough to one-shot everything...
My only bad point about the video: I got excited when I saw how much you liked the chasm bc I thought you would for sure enjoy the Xiao&co. chasm quest as well... only for you to neither show nor even mention it a single time 😢

@@NFYT tbh he doesn't even need Nahida. I've been 36 starring abyss for a while mostly with just Klee and Tighnari (with YaoYao Fischl Yae) and needless to say he's the strong side
@@michaelhan2291 i feel you, the first time i beated abyss was the 2.2 (if i remember good) elemental check, my team was I KID YOU NOT, klee monopyro the first half good stuff, and then i’d run itto, chongyun, diona, and childe, now it may sound stupid but the synergy of that team is real, itto without C6 gorou is underwhelming, 2 cryos for extra crit rate, childe for pyro lectors and for itto’s downtime, and itto to bruteforce when the burst was available, cryo was too for the hydro heralds

I remember first time when I walked to Dragonspine. I was low AR and have no idea,how to unlock the Statue of the Seven there,so I climbed and climbed that mountain until I got frozen and died multiple times. Then I found out that there was a world quest that could help you explore the area and then I asked my friend to help me do it. That was a fun time despite I was constantly dying there
Fell in love with areas of Chasm and Enkanomiya when they fist came out. Enkanomiya's battle music is FIRE. Shame that we have no reason to return there now,but the thrill of the first time exploration there is still in my heart

As a Day 1 player and pretty much just playing for the sake of playing, watching your content made me realize the reason I started playing and it kinda ignite the Genshin fire in me. Nice video.
I felt a massive wave of nostalgia watching this video. I've been playing this game for 3 years straight now but a part of me still wishes I can experience Genshin for the first time again. I remember my first few hours in this game was magical in a way.
That aside, the amount of progress you made in such little time is really impressive. Though I do recommend taking your time going through all the content because its very easy to feel burnt out when you run out of things to do. Still its commendable, I personally only got to 36-star the abyss like once in the entire 3 years I've been playing but maybe because I like to do experimental builds and team comps (which I also recommend just to mix things up once in a while).
I really hope you continue to enjoy this game because I genuinely think its a great game. There is so much more to come at least in the next year or two and I hope you'd be there to see it too.

@@soumachin serious question, with my current lineup, what team would you put him on? I legitimately WANTED to use him, I can’t remember when I tried him but it was a playstyle I liked, but when I did some research on viable teams - they all included 5* that I didn’t have and couldn’t get.

Fishing for the catch was nerfed going forward, when it first came out it took multiple weeks.
The entire inazuma was nerfed if I'm not wrong, which I really don't agree with, the harsh and hostile feeling of inazuma was only enhanced by the very difficult nature of it. Not just in terms of combat but also the enviourment

Actually insane effort went into this. Genshin is really fun for people who just started for sure. Hopefully they add even more end game content. Usually i get bored for few months then come back after a new region drop. Just never sell your account

I just had to comment. I’m not even half way into the video but I just want to say thank you so much for making this video. I’m a die hard genshin fan and I’m ar 60 and my characters are cracked. The game is super fun especially when you understand how to fight and build characters. I love the story, the art style, and the voices. It makes me so happy to see someone who enjoys it a lot. A lot of people don’t like the game but I do. Thanks!! :))

20 mins in and the Genshin nostalgia is hitting hard. I miss genuinely being excited for this game, and this video made me want to continue my progress with the story (I stopped after the last chapter of Fontaine's Archon quest patch) and now I'm redownloading it. Thanks for making this video, although I haven't finished it yet, it's truly one of the best Genshin contents I have watched.

I miss early Genshin so much. Definitely some of my fondest gaming memories. It was like discovering my dream game. A huge world to explore, tons of unique enemies to fight, fun characters to play, a long running story, deep lore, and beautiful music. Literally everything I could’ve asked for in a video game! I wish I could erase my memory and experience it for the first time again. It was magical.
I'm happy there's still new players. A lot of people don't play this game because of the toxic fans, so I'm glad someone enjoyed it. Great video!

This is the first Genshin video I’ve seen where someone actually “finishes the game” and by that I mean completing all archon quests and most 100% exploration, trees complete, oculi complete, and 36 stars on abyss. You played a crazy amount of time to achieve this. I’ve done all this too, but it took me far longer than you did.
All characters can be good if built up properly and used in a proper team, some random ranks on some random website mean nothing
Kaeya is kinda not supposed to be main dps. He's a sub dps/cryo applicator, but tbh I really prefer him at C6
They can be good, but they won't be amazing. That's why you should pick the right character to main. At the end of the day, there are some characters that are better than others.

Choose an interesting character who you personally like, not a character that some website "recommends" you because numbers only for you to hate using them
I got ayaka by accident back when she was considered meta and I benched her almost instantly because I hated her as a character and couldn't stand having her on screen, soooo

@@fluorescent_shrimp No it won't, you personally think Amber can deal as much decent damage that Arlecchino does? Even with the right team comp, Arlecchino takes the win. There's a huge gap between characters. If you only rely on the game's mechanics, you would only find it exhausting

I wanna point out 2 things that somehow no one does...
For a "first time" experience you had A LOT of prior meta knowledge and focus. Not only that, having the access to so many ressources at once and this really straightforward goal, combined with positive feedback of pull luck and abyss success made the journey fun and less draining.
Genshin turns into pain when there's long periods of nothing to do or nothing can be done; for example if you had built a Character that's not as busted as Neuvi "right now" and then the abyss meta changes/worsen in difficulty over time. (For example, if Neuvi suddenly had to fight the Oceanid... and the sidekick b-team lacks the dps.)
Regardless, amazing video. It's ironic that your favourite areas like Chasm and Dragonspine are lacking the full exploration progress, they are indeed memorable areas.

He looked at a website that ranks the characters when he got Freminet, and also wanted a main dps Kazuha. He probably just looked at that to see which characters were good
Genshin is like school. The first semester is full of joy, new friends and new things to learn...then the finals start rolling.
Really great video on showcasing the state of the game for new players. Congrats on getting 36 stars on Abyss too cuz it does get harder as more updates get introduce (Lectors are just pain).
I love doing things like this in my free time. It's genuinely so fun just replaying genshin imo. Especially when I give myself specific goals, like no pulling until I reach a certain arc and what not.
I don't think some Elden Ring players are gonna like it when you compliment Elden Ring and Genshin together....
In my opinion this run was flawless.
You were sooooo good at this run as if you were a genshin pro but there was only one mistake you made which was wasting a whole pitty on c1 neuvillette. It is worths it but it doesn't come any where close to how good arlecchino is.
