- I thought of the great idea of playing Genshin Impact non stop for 7 days straight to see if I can beat the game in that amount of time. And by beating the game I mean fully 36 starring the spiral abyss in one week. I do love a challenge, let's see how it plays out :)

Dude this video was INSANE. I remember you mentioning learning how to make guides and I seriously regret not encouraging you more at the time because you secretly have a talent for making optimal decisions for progress in this game. And those were expertly applied in this challenge video! Even I can't bring myself to do this despite loving almost every aspect of Genshin and being addicted to the Spiral Abyss.
Great work, and I hope we can see videos like this in the future!

You suffered, but just imagine a "Can You Beat Genshin Impact without using Resin?" run or a "Can You Beat Genshin Impact using only 1-Star Artifacts and 1-Star Weapons?" run.
i cant run barbara with keqing or lisa because they both have to be on field to apply electro (technically i can use lisa burst but I mentioned in the video that i didnt have enough resources to build er on her and i couldnt get her burst back on cooldown), and barbara also has to be on field, so trying to hyperbloom often would be a disaster. I could only reliably hyperbloom with on field barbara and off field kuki.

@@mirupikachu8505 Original Resin serves as the energy resource in Genshin Impact. Original Resin is used to claim challenge rewards from Ley Line Blossoms (For Mora and EXP Books), Petrified Trees (Domains) (For Artifacts, Character Ascension Materials, Weapon Ascension Materials) and Trounce Blossoms (Bosses) (For Regular Boss Drops and Weekly Boss Drops), as well as Event-exclusive challenges (Events that use Resin don't happen anymore though).
It takes 8 minutes for 1 Point of Original Resin to be generated. The current Original Resin Cap is 160. Fragile Resin is a non-reusable item which can be used to instantly restore 60 Points of Original Resin. Transient Resin (An alternative form of Fragile Resin) will be able to be bought once per week after you have advanced your Serenitea Pot (A system in Genshin Impact that allows the player to create their own home and have their owned Characters interact with them) Level to a high enough Level. Later on, after reaching Liyue City Reputation Level 3 (A progression system tied to each nation for which you will need Reputation which can be obtained from completing bounties, requests, world exploration, and quests) you will be able to craft Condensed Resin which you will be able to use to claim Ley Line Blossoms and Petrified Trees (Domains) with twice the efficiency.

Well you may not have beaten Abyss in a week but your progress was absolutely amazing. I had no idea you can get that far in the game in such a short time. Good job!
he got "lucky" kuki and then "lucky" nahida - you completed the game with hydro application like barbara or xingqiu.
Its actually not a good thing to level up that fast. Back when Genshin just came out (as I already had past exp before official release), I finished full Mondstadt and Liyue (including all archon quests, chests, statue and most of the world quests), I do believe back then we didnt had full Liyue archon quest just yet. That put me to around lv 30-35 (I honestly dont remember), and entire year of waiting for the new region lol. Guess what? After I finished the full archon quest of Liyue I quit Genshin cuz I had nothing else to do. Came back around when Sumeru got released... and did the same thing again, except it took me longer and I also took my time this time around. But did finished everything for Inazuma and almost Sumeru in a month. Which is still too fast cuz there was around 7-8 months left until Fontaine 0.0
@@revem8564 That's true for average player and I have similar experience myself although I never stopped playing this game. But this was a speedrun. Being fast is the point of the challenge.
@@kasuha True, but I was referring to the possibility of getting a high AR in a week. He would most likely got even higher if he didn't spent to much time on preparing his characters for spiral abyss. With the guidance it's not actually that hard (as long as you know whats worth doing), that was more of my point. Altho, if you are a whale then this is even possible to achieve in 2-4 days (with high amount spent on the game each day ofc). :D
When I first downloaded genshin I was so deprived of fantasy adventure anime that I got addicted to genshin. A fantasy adventure which I can play?! I reached AR 40, went to lvl 10 in the spiral abyss, had 80% completion of all of mondstadt, liyue, and inazuma and began sumeru in 15 days. Stopped playing for a a few months because of studies then resumed and completed every archon and story quest in another 15 days. It was amazing.

Bro got further through the abyss in a week than I have the entire time I've been playing. I still can't get past floor 10. Honestly, it was so impressive how far you got in a week. Especially given many of the featured characters weren't particularly useful.
These comments are meaningless without context. Maybe you'd only played for 3 days, or 10. Maybe just a month.

Also don't abandon lisa entirely! Leaving her in the party to do burst will add to damage, and electro resonance will add to energy recharge. Then amber catalyst will heal you every time you burst. If you are ever in need of energy recharge and heals, this might help

I am subscribing, not because the video is great (which it absolutely is) or because you managed to do it (which...well, you know) but because of the sheer amount of dedication it took to create this knowing full well there was a possibility the video might not do well. For the purpouse of the video, it was all absolutely great. it helped me as a pointer to a couple mistakes I made with my second account. I started playing at the very beginning of the game, 3 years ago, and I'm already AR 60, so I started a second account, but I forgot somethings I shoul've done beforehand, like leveling up weapons and then some. About the gatcha part, I decided to go for the 5 stars I don't own already (that left me with about 10 to choose from, so I ended up getting some repeated).
The thing is, I started that second account because I wanted to repeat everything but at a slower progression. I find it relaxing and quite fun alright to take my time doing all the quests, finding every single chest, and solving puzzles. I sincerelly believe that this game is more fun if you don't take it as a contest with others to see who can finish it sooner. But that's just me! I can not tell everybody how should they enjoy something they do of their own bolition

I played legit day till night, slept, then rinse and repeat. Although I watched a bunch of yt videos while playing so that definitely helped lol
You said you only had one healer... Barb and Kuki are both healers tho, and you don't need both of them on the same side 😅
Also both XQ and Beidou offer dmg reduction with their bursts.

I think this is theoretically possible with some insane luck, planning and skill but yeah you did great (and probably a lot of account rerolls) (atleast I think 33 stars is possible, dont know about 36)
1) you probably farmed the material domin cuz in early game it gives a lot of exp
2) you levels up your sword for em (or er I don't remember)cuz of hyperbloom!
3) you could have used lion's roar for Kuki
4) xianling and benny maby could have helped you thru the challenge cause of burgeon !

Dont know if you wanna try again with a new account now that Fontaine is coming, but what if you try but with more time? Like 2 weeks, 1 month? You got so far with one week, i def believe you can do it with 2 weeks.
You could have done better if you just used benny xiangling xinqiu with heizou to form a heizou national and aggravate keqing with nahida kuki and a flex slot(beidou, dendro MC are good options, or barbara for more survivability and little hyper bloom from the skill.)
You were too focus on building 2 dendro teams.kudos for the dedication tho. next time,dont turn your back from the national team. Hahahaha.they are still the best.
But those teams need a lot more investment to function you need good atk er and crit that you just can't get in 1 week, but in these denro teams you only need 1 charater to be built with purely EM
National team sucks ass without meeting their ER requirements

but one thing crossed my mind. why didn't you tried to swap kuki with lisa/keqing? you would've had healers on both sides (barbara on one and kuki on another). i get that barbara wasn't lvled and it probably wouldn't have made a big difference but still would've been something.. anyway, nice try!!!
now that there's yaoyao and baiju maybe that challenge would be possible...
If you watch the video carefully (he didn't mention it but if you look at this character lineups you can tell), he did try that, but it didn't work I guess.

The longest thing about the story isn't the levels, the fighting, the exploration... it's the unskippable dialogue.

Have you tried using the artifacts that turn healing into dmg? Use it on Barbara or Kuki.
Even when Barbara"s off field, her heal will still do dmg. It's quite strong!
