Once there was a 'woman with a baby' walking down my street. I saw that there was no baby and that the women wasn't a women. So I took a picture of her fromy window. I saw her come back around twice a day, and a couple weeks later 'she' had broken in at my neighbor's. The police came and I showed them the picture, and they arrested the man that dressed up like a women, and a group of helpers. I was pretty proud of myself
2 years ago I just got done putting my son to bed. BOOM someone was trying to literally boot in my front door. Thank goodness my front door is a solid heavy wood door that was locked. My English mastiff was standing in front of the door barking and growling. Boom another kick. I yelled the police were on the way ( I was on the phone with the 911 operator) none of this discouraged the person. Another Boom. I grabbed a weapon, put the phone on speaker and began to shut off the lights, why turned off the lights I know the inside of my house even with the lights off but this person doesn't. Luckily no one was able to get in. 15 minutes later the police were finally at my house and they caught him. When he seen the police lights he ran into my back yard, my house is surrounded by woods they followed his snow prints and he was caught. It was a man with a mild mental illness and was under the influence of alcohol. He thought my house was his parents house, he thought they locked him out again was his explanation for trying to kick in the door. Thank goodness all windows and doors were locked. I'm so grateful he didn't try breaking out any of the Windows to get in. The storm door had to be replaced but the moral is, if someone one really wants to break in your home they will .

Chances are if a burglar was casing your area, they'd ignore any symbols not put their by themselves or their assistants. Seems to me the best way to reduce the odds of burglary is to be distrustful of people seeking entry to your home if its not a service you specifically solicited and are expecting, make unauthorized entry a pain in the tail, and keep things that they'd see as worth stealing out of easy line of sight from doors and windows. If they don't know whether its worth their while or not and getting in isn't fast, chances are they'll bypass your place just because the risk isn't worth the reward.

I got a dog around 2017 May, he ran away chasing a cat and he got lost after that. I still miss him then my other dog died 2 weeks ago. (At least she lived a full life) But when we search at homes for my lost dog, we are only able to look the outside only. Today I still trying to look for him.
My grandmother had one situation like this. I wasn't even born yet then, whatevaaa, let's just get into the story. So, my grandma was home all alone, and heard someone knock on her door. It was a lady with a bag. In the bag there were perfumes. She asked my granny, if she'd like to buy some. Grandma said no, but the woman said "Aw, come on. Atleast see how they smell.". It was OBVIOUS that there was something suspicious. Probably if my grandmother would agree to see how they smell, she would wake up to an empty house. How did she get rid of the lady? She simply called out her son's (my dad's) name. He obviously wasn't there, but the woman got scared and walked away.
I was at the park with my sister I was 3 she was 5 we were swinging and 3 people were running toward us some how while we were running back home we ran faster at 3 and 5 they were like 18 one 28 and 30 our mom fell asleep and I was faster than my 5 year old sister and I was 3

My got robbed 3 times. First one the burglar run for their life for no reason and didn’t take any stuff. The second time we installed a noise maker and it works. The whole block could hear my alarm. The third one is the same but with thermal cameras.
ok....STORY TIME! One time my father was alone at home. He was just watching 📺 and all of a sudden he heard someone knocked on the door. "Hello. This is the police." My father was curious of why the police is at the door. And he did the right thing to do, instead of opening the door he look through the hole on the door(if you know what I mean)and he saw someone not in a police uniform like a random person showed up at the door. He kept quiet and not lowering the volume of the 📺 cuz later the person outside of the door would know someone's in the house. He told me, my sister and my mother about it when we got home for school and work. And it happen 2 TIMES! (Okay enough of talking. TOO LONG ;-; it took me a while to do this ;-;)

Once my mum was out at the shops and my sister and I were at home and she had told us not to answer the door to anyone while she was gone. Then someone started knocking and I got freaked out lol😂 I thought that if I didn’t answer whoever it was would think that we weren’t home and tried to break in. There was a group of guys in my neighborhood that pretended to sell perfume, they asked you to smell it. The perfume contained a substance that will make you faint so the robbers have time to empty your house.

A simple attractive way to bar windows is to plant Thorne plants around them. I used older roses climbing near the handicap ramp and large growing bushes under all windows. I use 2 deadbolts on all doors. I have alarms and good solar security lights and sidewalk lights. It looks nice and prevents easy access to the house

Break ins happen mostly during the day when people are out. So lock your bedroom when you are sick and sleeping during the day. That gives you time to call 112 or another emergency number when you hear people breaking in.

(Or your power company needs to check your meter, this happened to me once, I live in the US) the technicians don't really take no for an answer, and if they do and then never come back (their fault) they'll blame the home resident.

Burglars sometimes are brave enough to break in during the night! That’s why my mom always keeps a strong sharp knife on her bedside table when my dads away, cos she’s got the goosebumps even when she hears a small creak, or hiss or any small noise,and the poor girl stayed up very late holding her knife, that’s why I also make sure our doors are locked all 3! Yes I have 3 doors, 2 back doors and 1 front. We always make sure our cats are inside as well and keep our back doors locked at all times unless absolutely necessary! So never leave your doors or windows open at night cos who knows when a burglar can use this weak spot and break in! You might also wanna instal a video doorbell or look through the peeping hole before opening the door. I have cameras as well some very good places to put your cameras are near your front and back doors, basement windows, and bedrooms. Ooh! Get an alarm at you r door to make sure you hear when someone opens the door! Also to keep your keys safe, you should get a random medium sized rock from your garden and a small container and hot glue the rock to the container but if you don’t have any hot glue you can just use any glue at hand. Now just dump your keys into it and dig a small hole in your front garden and put the rock disguise in with the rock poking out. But if your a forgetful person like me, you can mark it with a dot. And your done! Now nosey burglars won’t get their hands on your valuable keys. :D

My father was curious of why the police is at the door. And he did the right thing to do, instead of opening the door he look through the hole on the door(if you know what I mean)and he saw someone not in a police uniform like a random person showed up at the door. He kept quiet and not lowering the volume of the 📺 cuz later the person outside of the door would know someone's in the house. He told me, my sister and my mother about it when we got home for school and work. And it happen 2 TIMES!

Once my mum was out at the shops and my sister and I were at home and she had told us not to answer the door to anyone while she was gone. Then someone started knocking and I got freaked out lol😂 I thought that if I didn’t answer whoever it was would think that we weren’t home and tried to break in. So I went out of my room and the knocking continued, my sister was in her room with headphones on and didn’t hear anything. A simple attractive way to bar windows is to plant Thorne plants around them. I used older roses climbing near the handicap ramp and large growing bushes under all windows. I use 2 deadbolts on all doors. I have alarms and good solar security lights and sidewalk lights. It looks nice and prevents easy access to the house

Burglars sometimes are brave enough to break in during the night! That’s why my mom always keeps a strong sharp knife on her bedside table when my dads away, cos she’s got the goosebumps even when she hears a small creak, or hiss or any small noise,and the poor girl stayed up very late holding her knife, that’s why I also make sure our doors are locked all 3! Yes I have 3 doors, 2 back doors and 1 front. We always make sure our cats are inside as well and keep our back doors locked at all times unless absolutely necessary! So never leave your doors or windows open at night cos who knows when a burglar can use this weak spot and break in! You might also wanna instal a video doorbell or look through the peeping hole before opening the door. I have cameras as well some very good places to put your cameras are near your front and back doors, basement windows, and bedrooms. Ooh! Get an alarm at you r door to make sure you hear when someone opens the door! Also to keep your keys safe, you should get a random medium sized rock from your garden and a small container and hot glue the rock to the container but if you don’t have any hot glue you can just use any glue at hand. Now just dump your keys into it and dig a small hole in your front garden and put the rock disguise in with the rock poking out. But if your a forgetful person like me, you can mark it with a dot. And your done! Now nosey burglars won’t get their hands on your valuable keys. :D

A month ago i saw a random dude walk up to my house and look around while I was washing the dishes so I ducked so he couldn't see me. I got up too early and he saw me and started running to the door. Thankfully I beat him to it and I had a big bowl in my hand (it wasn't fancy) and I started running after him saying that I will knock him out and call the police if he doesn't leave so he drove away
