    Spent many a day myself in the boat with shirt off and catching "a few rays". Paid the price a few years ago with the diagnosis of malignant melanoma. Would recommend you cover up with uv protective clothing while on the water...wish I had.

    Tom how about a Tom talk on your boat set up? I have a Lund pro v 1660 with a 50 honda 4 stroke and have an old Raytheon fish finder. Soon to purchase a new humminbird and trolling motor so i can network and spot lock. Just a thought. Thanks love your videos.

    Can you show us how you rig your slip bobber setups? Looks like you had sizeable weight up the line a bit. Do you then use a bare hook, or still a jig?

    Tom Talks: have heard you say before you don't care much about color on your spinner vs size and speed, would enjoy hearing your take on color in general - be it the color of jig under your bobber, your spinner, when to try a different color vs different presentation all together, etc. Thanks for the brilliant content

    Tom how do you have your side imaging transducer mounted to your boat or trolling motor I need to use my main motor to search so I can’t put the transducer on the trolling motor but then when I find the fish I need to keep locating them with the trolling so now I want it on the trolling motor?

    Hey Tom, now that summer is pretty much here. A lot of us start pulling out the bottom bouncers and trolling deep. For those that don't have side imaging but regular sonar, any tips so you're not fishing blind? Where would be the best bang for your buck concentrating efforts.

    As always excellent video. I’m so used to you being all bundled up I thought I was on wrong channel... so, I’m getting ready to spend a small fortune on jigging raps. My lake’s main forage is elwife. What size do you recommend and also are your acme hyper rattle models worth the 9.99 a piece? You spoke on your video about their durability but I also seen you beat the brakes of em on Rapala’s. Thanks Tom

    How far off the bottom are you setting the slip bobbers? 2-3 feet off bottom?

    I ordered a Piscifun 2000 and did not use it for about 3 weeks. The handle was binding up a little from start and got progressively worse quickly. I'm trying to return it for a refund but their website switches to Chinese when a return address is requested; any suggestions? Larry Barnes

    Tom Talks: How to gauge your bite windows without exhausting yourself being on the water before sun up and after sunset?
    Also it would be cool to see some stuff out of the boat. Like some shore fishing tips and tricks, heck I know there's some sweet brook trout spots in the area too.
    Love your videos because of the info but I also think you have some great entertainment ability (looks up fidget spinner with the vacation boys video) just saying.

    Hey tom maybe on tom talks what kind of transducer do you use one your boat is it the standard helix 12 transducer or do you upgrade it? I tried your settings and I can get my helix 12 to mark the fish as detailed.

    Man I love your videos.. what depths should I be fishing at on average in the lake Michigan lagoon? Just learned about the thermocline and dead zone. I've been fishing there twice and only can catch rock bass on the rocks. Any tips?

    I learn something new on all your videos. Like the idea of running the tiller in low rpm while on spot lock. Would you ever use casting rings or proximity flags rather than driving over the fish?

    LOVE the channel Tom, your super knowledgable. I have a question hopefully you will be able to help.
    Unfortunately I no long have a boat or kayak to get out anymore so I'm stuck bank fishing for the time being. Do your "Boat" methods transfer over to bank fishing?? ..I'm having a hard time getting them in the daylight. I usually use a white 4" twister.. never fails me at night..

      i have a 17' lund with a 12v 55lb and i REGRET not getting the 24v 80 lb ..... so i would recommend the 80lb

      Same as Kelly. If you can afford it get the 24v or 36v. I have a 1675 Lund with the 12v and in big winds it struggles to stay in place. It does work but I’d like to upgrade

      @@bigz5262 I had 55 lb 12v that came with my boat. Upgraded to 80 lb 24 v, much better. I have a Lund Explorer.

    My spot lock seems to really struggle to stay in place with my Minn Kota Terova. Is that normal? It seems like it sways around a bunch around the spot

      I currently have at 80 phones 24-volt and the spotlight straight up sucks I need it's like plus or minus 50 feet because it's a Gen 2 and there's nothing you can do about it.

      You have to get a Gen 3 to get what you want.
      $1500 for a frustrating motor is what I have.

      There is a columnar bobber stop in rubber/silicone. It is a longer in shape stop than the football shaped ones. I use a size small so it Lay's on spool better. Have you tried that already?
