I am going to assume Pre-40k Fulgrim since he has no means to kill Daemon Primarch Fulgrim (Maybe he can seal him, but that is the best her got). I think Fulgrim is better with close combat, which can trip Madara up. But Madara is basically Magnus + Sanginius. He has long and short range utility. And he can (sort of) see future
I lean too Fulgrim, I think his larger size, experience and close combat (which is Madara's one 'sore' point) is enough to probably take it.
If it is Primarch Fulgrim, then it is a mismatch even if Madara could seal him with the Infinite Tsukiyomi or the Bijuu Seal.

‘More battle-hungry characters’ And that’s why Boros vs Battle Beast is my favorite matchup for ‘Invincible’ as a franchise. It’d just be that scene until one of them finally falls.

Sometimes when I listen it this song, the line "The whole world bending the knee" sometimes sounds like "The whole world dancing but me". Considering how these two manipulated pretty much everyone throughout the entire series and can use illusions to control them to an extent, it fits pretty well.
For me that part sounded like "The whole world dancing for me"

_A massive blaze erupts in a desert. In the middle of the now subsiding inferno, the former Captain of the 5th Division, Sōsuke Aizen, is recovering from the attack. From the outside of the ring of flames enters the legendary ninja Madara Uchiha, keenly aware of Aizen's presence._
Aizen: Huh? You can see me?
Madara: I can see everything.

_Surprised, Madara leaps away and pulls out his gunbai just as Aizen advances on him with Kyōka Suigetsu. The shinobi and Shinigami briefly clash in the air before taking their fight back to the ground. The two clash multiple times before locking weapons. Madara takes advantage of the stalemate to summon Wood Style pillars from the ground. One manages to hit Aizen, knocking him back, but he effortlessly evades three more._
_Slashing through the summoned pillars, Aizen charges at Madara who jumps to avoid him. Aizen dodges yet another pillar summoned from behind before blocking Madara's attempted follow-up. He leaps into the air once more, landing on one of his pillars and boosting himself back towards his foe. He summons the ribcage and arm of his Susanoo, before throwing a massive punch at the seemingly stationary Aizen._

However, the arm shatters immediately, shocking Madara. He is suddenly stabbed from behind by Aizen, and is sent into the air where he is dismembered quickly, unable to defend himself as he had dropped his gunbai. As a head and torso alone, he is stabbed through the chest by Aizen once again. He brushes blood off his coat and taunts his opponent, assured of his victory.
Aizen: I would expect nothing more... from a human.

_The angered Madara's eyes switch from the Rinnegan to the Sharingan, shattering Kyōka Suigetsu's hypnotic illusion, revealing that Madara had actually not been dismembered. As Aizen looks around in realization of his Zanpakutō's ability being broken through, Madara takes advantage of the opening to headbutt him. He then summons his Susanoo's ribcage and arm to attack again, this time successfully smashing his opponent into the ground. Landing safely, Madara insults Aizen's illusion._

The guitar really spreading it's wings a lot more, drums more present and clear, the Uchiha 'anthem' being even more present as usual. And most importantly, the lyrics aren't fighting with the instrumentals as much as the original from what i was able to tell.
The original is, of course, still really good. But hot damn, what an upgrade this turned out to be. Now I'm personally curious and excited to see how "The Metal Lotus" will sound with a remaster.

I just saw a message that confirmed that Ben Singer is the official owner of Death Battle. Found that out after watching someone’s fan made version of Danganronpa where a total of 16 cartoon characters from different tv shows must find a way to survive
Are you talking about “Cartoons in Danganronpa”? It took a while for it to get updated so I forgot I was subbed to the creator of it lol. Enjoyed the first part of the trial though.

Man, seeing Hollow Dreams get a remaster has me hopeful for remasters of Mighty and Thunder Shroud.

This is the song I think whenever I have an idea for a manipulative villain in my head. Never watched either show and I had the result spoiled so this fight didn't really mean much for me, but I will never forget the music for it.

Love the art and the remix, but I will note that a subtale detail you could have added was to surround the purple flames with the shadow of the 10-tailed-beast. I get that that would have made it feel like their too much going on, but with all the purple in the image, it really screams more of Azien than Madara, even with the truth seeking orbs, the staff as part of the coffen, and his face in the Hōgyoku. Just saying, a bit more red might have helped.
Please remake Shonen Showdown and Dangerous Gaze, these are my favourite Naruto Death Battle Tracks!
