I feel that the “power bar/time limit is the only deciding factor against White Lantern. Simon has all the power and capabilities of the Anti-Spiral. INCLUDING the anti-Spiral fields. Essentially manufactured black holes. They collect spiral power and create pockets of impossibly dense mass. With an infinite reserve of energy and drill missiles that can teleport through time, Simon can disrupt time around the fight speeding up White lantern’s expenditure.
Not true. Green Lantern isn’t even the strongest DC or Justice League character. Same for White Lantern. Golden Amazo, Trigon, the Lords of Chaos, Klarion, Martian Manhunter, Superman, Batman, and Raven are superior. Same goes for Reverse Flash. The list goes on.

If that is true and Lagann is made of every emotion then that would just make him an endless battery of Rage, Fear, Compassion, and Love Kyle could pull from. Along with amplifying himself with Will, Greed, and Hope.

Unless you wanna do some weird verse equalization which wouldn't make much sense in this context, Simon would be fine. Not to mention that Simon's Cosmology does outscale Kyle's by an entire tier, and I don't believe the white lantern has the hax to somehow close the gap.

Simon should scale from 11th dimensional (High complex Multiversal) to Infinite dimensional (Hyperversal) on the other hand Kyle should easily scale from Outer to High Outer pre Life equation. Let me explain The Spectre(you know the Angel of gods devine wrath) can threaten all of Hell within the god sphere which is an Archetypal realm making Spectre Outerversal. Great cast. One point I wish was mentioned was that Simon would be essentially immune to the emotional manipulation that was brought up by the lantern rings. The Anti-Spiral heavily uses despair as a weapon, which Simon was able to overcome, as well as negative emotions like avarice and fear (with the fake Kamina in the infinite multiversal labyrinth), but it wasn't able to beat Simon. This was on top of a memory wipe and a total false reality mind you. Moreover, Kyle was not able to handle being the White Lantern for long due to the godlike power and overwhelming nature of such a thing, whereas Simon takes the seemingly paradoxical leap of faith and is resolved to be the protector for all of creation, through freedom balanced with restraint and personal responsibility for Spiral Power. Simon's willpower exceeds Kyle's by this standard. Spiral Power isn't simply willpower, its basically the life equation in a different form. Its a mixture of love, hope, belief/faith in yourself and others, and willpower, as well as many other great things about humanity such as color and beauty, coalescing into the spiral, which is humanity's drive to move forward. Adding unto this, Simon's *rate* of growth is absurd, as in a space (using that word for convenience) that was beyond time and space, he was able to *outgrow* outside a multiverse in literally no time. If we're talking real-life time, it was like a second to visualize the growth if you need a reference, but that's just for our benefit. He went from hugely massive to incomprehensibly huge. Even if Simon was (somehow) not at the level of strength needed to win at the start of the fight, he would be able to grow to the strength needed to match, exceed and overwhelm Kyle. Moreover, like was said, Simon has numerous defenses and negations against reality warping of him, while also having ridiculous reality warping himself. I don't recall Kyle having any abilities to grow his own powers (basically, can Kyle actually increase the power of his own white lantern ring, and at an appreciable rate?) On top of *all* this, Gurren Lagann has an energy field that defends against all attacks. What the infinity big bang storm was hitting was just the *defense field* of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. This also doesn't get into the whole "creating universes" and "creating life" and "casual immortality" and whatnot.

@@Hebleh lol, I've seen you in at least 1 Death Battle comments section before now but I didn't say anything haha I usually just watch and don't really comment for things like Death Battle (for the ones I'm interested in anyways), but I made an exception because TTGL was involved and that's been my favorite anime for 8 years, and one I also know inside and out (though I learned some new things thanks to the research done on the manga in this cast, which I appreciate), and I did research into Kyle too of course and gained new appreciation for Green Lantern as a creative work, I'd be surprised if it didn't influence TTGL's creation in some way. At any rate, I just want to see a full Death Battle involving TTGL, its way too underappreciated for being such a beautiful and fun over-the-top anime with a beloved legacy, I'm honestly shocked it hasn't gotten one until now (kinda). Don't wanna spoil the cast since its entertaining to hear, its certainly funny when you've got 2 ridiculous entities going against each other.

I remember in the live chat I bringing up how Kyle brought his lantern ring back to life through sheer Will power. Then someone told me I’m wrong and that was Hal… I’m looking at the scan I thought back to just now. That’s definitely Kyle I’m seeing here lmao
At about 30 minutes one of the guys gets difficult about the ring abilities. Green ring = creates any sort of construct White ring = creates life Hal Jordan creates a city's worth of holograms. The white ring could bring that city to life.
The White Ring also has the abilities of the ENTIRE Emotional Spectrum. That means Kyle Rayner as White Lantern gets the powers of Rage, Avarice, Fear, Willpower, Hope, Compassion, and Love, all at once.
They skimmed over it but the probability manipulation really carries Simon over Kyle. He literally made the probability of him winning go from 0 to 100 outside of his suit against the anti spiral. He would do it again against kyle.

Simon *has* to win this fight... Kyle's powers are limited only by his imagination, and Simon has an unlimited ability to adapt... it's only a matter of time before Simon adapts to a level (or in a way) that Kyle can't imagine. I really wish people were more precise about their usage of "infinity." eg; ordinal infinities include such numbers as: !+1+1+1... (and so on, ad infinitum). This infinity is half as big as 2+2+2+2+2... even though both of these are infinitely large. The plank length to centimeter feat sounds a lot like a "long line" infinity... ie, for a normal number line, the distance between 4 and 5 is 1, as one would expect. Could be meters, could be miles, but the difference between them is still "1." In a Long Line, the distance between one point on the line and the next is an infinity. Ostensibly, the distance between two "adjacent" points on the long line is 1+1+1+1... The distance between three adjacent points would be 2+2+2+2... Now, if you assume that ordinal infinities can themselves extend to infinity, ie; there are an infinite number of ordinal infinities between 1+1+1+1... and ∞+∞+∞+∞... the Long Line then includes an infinite number of infinities, including itself (Which is like saying: a kajillion=kajillion+1).

For the most part I always thought the only way Simon can utilize his powers to the fullest was inside a gunmen? If we go with the anime and even the movies yes he can create things but outside of mechs he can only really be stronger than a man and not that much stronger either if I can remember correctly? Simon fist-fought the anti spiral while also manifesting a drill out of his own blood that was powerful enough to kill anti spiral. Spiral power does not come from the mech, it comes from the user. Simon has low-godly regeneration (can regenerate even when reduced to nothing) He can also channel his spiral energy through his core drill (seen in episode 15) There is nothing stopping Simon from randomly manifesting drills out of his body Also, he can create super spiral space inside of himself, which puts thought into form
At the end in the series, if he wanted to, Simon could manifest TTGL by himself (Well, TTGL is a whole different thing from just creating a mech, but it's still a much larger feat). During the multidimensional labyrinth where Simon transforms into Gurren Lagann, it was him literally creating a Gurren Lagann to leave the place. Also, some people speculate that the clash between STTGL and STT Granzeboma's Giga Drill Break clash not only cause the Spiral Nemesis in the Anti-Spiral's pocket dimension, but it reformed it immediately after.

The thing I wish Liam had brought up was Kyle's time as "Ion." For a time, he played host to the willpower entity, Ion, and essentially became nearly all powerful. At one point he'd caught a criminal, took him back to Oa, presented him to the guardians, and then he exploded with a blast capable of killing the guardians. Even after it happened, Kyle was able to use his Ion powers to grab the event and nullify it so it hadn't happened. He possessed the ability to decide what did and did not happen. If the fight was scripted, Kyle would be a character in the script that could decide what was written. Even as the White Lantern, Kyle played host to six of the seven emotional entities, so at his peak, he had Ion and it's powers at his disposal. He could literally decide what Simon did and did not do.
He would actually, and due to spiral powers evolutionary properties, it would make the rings power stronger while also allowing Simon to handle kyle’s power and hax better.

Simon did absorb the infinity Big Bang storm (this isn’t just a name, it’s literally infinite universes being created, stated by the anti spiral as “the *everlasting* hellfire of creation”, the only reason it stopped is because he absorbed the storm), but only because Lordgenome underwent quantum destabilization and turned the storm into a drill, giving it to Simon However, considering that Simon was stronger than a human Lordgenome in PRE TIMESKIP Gurren Lagann, there’s no doubt that simon would be able to replicate this conversion, turning the white lantern’s attacks into drills, absorbing them, and gaining even more power.
Simon at the end of the series is indeed Multi dimensional, yet achieving the peak of STTGL requires a lot of set up and more of a team contribution of The Dai Gurren Gang. But im all the way for Simon due to my bias and am not all about the results.

With an infinite reserve of energy and drill missiles that can teleport through time, Simon can disrupt time around the fight speeding up White lantern’s expenditure.

Ok I'm assuming when you say "Simon's cosmology does outscales Kyle's" your referring to the whole Simon being 11th dimensional thing and not saying that the Gurren Lagann Multiverse us bigger than the DC multiverse. Great cast. One point I wish was mentioned was that Simon would be essentially immune to the emotional manipulation that was brought up by the lantern rings. The Anti-Spiral heavily uses despair as a weapon, which Simon was able to overcome, as well as negative emotions like avarice and fear (with the fake Kamina in the infinite multiversal labyrinth), but it wasn't able to beat Simon. This was on top of a memory wipe and a total false reality mind you.
Moreover, Kyle was not able to handle being the White Lantern for long due to the godlike power and overwhelming nature of such a thing, whereas Simon takes the seemingly paradoxical leap of faith and is resolved to be the protector for all of creation, through freedom balanced with restraint and personal responsibility for Spiral Power. Simon's willpower exceeds Kyle's by this standard.
Spiral Power isn't simply willpower, its basically the life equation in a different form. Its a mixture of love, hope, belief/faith in yourself and others, and willpower, as well as many other great things about humanity such as color and beauty, coalescing into the spiral, which is humanity's drive to move forward.
Adding unto this, Simon's *rate* of growth is absurd, as in a space (using that word for convenience) that was beyond time and space, he was able to *outgrow* outside a multiverse in literally no time. If we're talking real-life time, it was like a second to visualize the growth if you need a reference, but that's just for our benefit. He went from hugely massive to incomprehensibly huge.
Even if Simon was (somehow) not at the level of strength needed to win at the start of the fight, he would be able to grow to the strength needed to match, exceed and overwhelm Kyle. Moreover, like was said, Simon has numerous defenses and negations against reality warping of him, while also having ridiculous reality warping himself. I usually just watch and don't really comment for things like Death Battle (for the ones I'm interested in anyways), but I made an exception because TTGL was involved and that's been my favorite anime for 8 years, and one I also know inside and out (though I learned some new things thanks to the research done on the manga in this cast, which I appreciate), and I did research into Kyle too of course and gained new appreciation for Green Lantern as a creative work, I'd be surprised if it didn't influence TTGL's creation in some way.
At any rate, I just want to see a full Death Battle involving TTGL, its way too underappreciated for being such a beautiful and fun over-the-top anime with a beloved legacy, I'm honestly shocked it hasn't gotten one until now (kinda).
Don't wanna spoil the cast since its entertaining to hear, its certainly funny when you've got 2 ridiculous entities going against each other.

I really wish people were more precise about their usage of "infinity."
eg; ordinal infinities include such numbers as: !+1+1+1... (and so on, ad infinitum). This infinity is half as big as 2+2+2+2+2... even though both of these are infinitely large.
The plank length to centimeter feat sounds a lot like a "long line" infinity... ie, for a normal number line, the distance between 4 and 5 is 1, as one would expect. Could be meters, could be miles, but the difference between them is still "1."
In a Long Line, the distance between one point on the line and the next is an infinity. Ostensibly, the distance between two "adjacent" points on the long line is 1+1+1+1... The distance between three adjacent points would be 2+2+2+2...

For the most part I always thought the only way Simon can utilize his powers to the fullest was inside a gunmen? If we go with the anime and even the movies yes he can create things but outside of mechs he can only really be stronger than a man and not that much stronger either if I can remember correctly? Also if he does go all out he destroys everything because of the spiral nemesis appearing?

In the movie simon beat up anti-spiral with his bare hands wich confirms that the power comes from him.
Simon fist-fought the anti spiral while also manifesting a drill out of his own blood that was powerful enough to kill anti spiral.
Spiral power does not come from the mech, it comes from the user.
Simon has low-godly regeneration (can regenerate even when reduced to nothing)
He can also channel his spiral energy through his core drill (seen in episode 15)
There is nothing stopping Simon from randomly manifesting drills out of his body
Also, he can create super spiral space inside of himself, which puts thought into form
At the end in the series, if he wanted to, Simon could manifest TTGL by himself (Well, TTGL is a whole different thing from just creating a mech, but it's still a much larger feat). During the multidimensional labyrinth where Simon transforms into Gurren Lagann, it was him literally creating a Gurren Lagann to leave the place.
Also, some people speculate that the clash between STTGL and STT Granzeboma's Giga Drill Break clash not only cause the Spiral Nemesis in the Anti-Spiral's pocket dimension, but it reformed it immediately after.

The thing I wish Liam had brought up was Kyle's time as "Ion." For a time, he played host to the willpower entity, Ion, and essentially became nearly all powerful. At one point he'd caught a criminal, took him back to Oa, presented him to the guardians, and then he exploded with a blast capable of killing the guardians. Even after it happened, Kyle was able to use his Ion powers to grab the event and nullify it so it hadn't happened. He possessed the ability to decide what did and did not happen. If the fight was scripted, Kyle would be a character in the script that could decide what was written. Even as the White Lantern, Kyle played host to six of the seven emotional entities, so at his peak, he had Ion and it's powers at his disposal. He could literally decide what Simon did and did not do.

As Kyle wasn’t able to handle being the White Lantern for long due to the godlike power and overwhelming nature of such a thing, where Simon takes the paradoxical leap of faith and is resolved to be the protector for all of creation, through freedom balanced with restraint and personal responsibility for Spiral power. So simon could possibly do it.
Simon did absorb the infinity Big Bang storm (this isn’t just a name, it’s literally infinite universes being created, stated by the anti spiral as “the *everlasting* hellfire of creation”, the only reason it stopped is because he absorbed the storm), but only because Lordgenome underwent quantum destabilization and turned the storm into a drill, giving it to Simon
However, considering that Simon was stronger than a human Lordgenome in PRE TIMESKIP Gurren Lagann, there’s no doubt that simon would be able to replicate this conversion, turning the white lantern’s attacks into drills, absorbing them, and gaining even more power.
