To be honest, both fighters had better matchups, and the overall episode was meh, but the music slaps! This is definitely the remaster and art track update I needed. Thank you Brandon Yates!

YOOOOOOOO literally my third favorite DB track of all time, im so glad this got a remaster, and I can see how it sounds differently compared to the original, with the lyrics now sounding even more clearer! Even the art got an upgrade, it now looks super sick

And it's funny how the MHA manga is ending and Deku Still loses to Asta who's manga is on hiatus because he just gets speed blitz'd. Even with more generous recent calms putting deku at barely planet level Asta matches that at least and is just faster by far

@@FranTheNerd Agreed. While this matchup makes sense thematically, Black Clover is just in a whole different tier of power and speed. I also wish they characterized Asta better than just making him a dumbed down Zoro, because he's nothing like that

This is probably my favorite song not only in season 9, but in all of Death Battle. I remember last year I listened to this 100+ times on Spotify.
The “I, fight, to be the strongest alive!” is godly imo. Still really wish it happened a second time in the song.

Personally, liked the design of the original better but love the style of this one much more.
Really wish, and this is not just with you, that we people make art for characters like this, they merge not just their personalities in the image, but them. Astas demon form as an armor on a plus ultra’s deku, the sword on his back surrounded in thunder with he hold the book engraved with the nine lights of the previous weilders, their smiling face peaking out of the darkness around them with a bright flash along their smile. Medevil rubble mixed with glass and fire as they stand tall. U.A on one side and Clover Kingdom on the other.
I get that it would take a long time and so I don’t judge when people do something else. But with Deku now coming out of his vigilante phase, having Asta’s armor serve as that darkness would be perfect.
Again, love this and the original, but man, a guy can still dream.

@@NerdMiGerdWithout a doubt, I prefer the ending of Izuku dying giving his all against a rival who also gives his all during the confrontation... instead of Izuku spending eight years after losing his quirk in which he not only went without being recognized as the hero who saved all of Japan, but also distanced himself from his friends (which makes MHA society look not only the worst when seeing how Izuku was basically DISCARDED after losing his quirk despite everything he did and did See what Izuku said at the beginning of the story about him "becoming the greatest hero of all" but on top of that he seems to agree with the idea that "you're useless without a Quirk") and he was left without ever getting a girlfriend and possibly a virgin in those eight years
