I really enjoyed how this fight was just Superman and Goku having a friendly sparring with each other instead of being enemies. They were just having fun testing each other.

Goku vs Superman 3 didn’t feel as controversial as the others. Could be that the analysis was more convincing, but also because it was just a stellar episode with arguably their single best fight animation and a respectful ending for both characters

One thing i love about this song is that its not about wondering who might win, but Goku realizing he will never beat superman but is still having fun. I honestly didn't really care for Alive on its own. It works fine for the fight, but the lyrics don't really fit the characters. But seeing how it's become so ingrained into the series and how it evolved while being mixed with lines that's much more fitting for the optimistic joy these two inspire feels like it's taken a journey to become more authentic, just like DB itself wanted to make this fight true to both.
To be fair, when writing Alive I wasn't told what matchup I was writing for, so I just wrote some general battle lyrics. I wasn't really a part of the team until later on.

Last night I had a dream about a new death battle episode. It was about two niche characters my brain probably made up because I cannot remember anything about them. But at the end of the credits, it said the next Death Battle was going to be Goku which caused me to go (wtf, again? so soon?) only for it to be vs Freiza. Which caused me to get hyped, thinking we'd get a full Goku vs Superman tier Goku vs Black Frieza. My dreams better be a damn premonition because I want to see more of Black Frieza in Death Battle.

This fight had the most wholesome ending and yet such a satisfying battle. I'm glad if Death Battle's ending, it'll be ending on a high note.

Tho the changes in God’s Hand, That’s No Moon, and Super are minuscule (for good reason), they still bangers for coming back crazy as ever. I can only imagine what a DB song from like Season 6 can sound like after remaster! Looking forward to the few that have been collaboratedly made between Brandon and Therewolf!

Last night I had a dream about a new death battle episode.
It was about two niche characters my brain probably made up because I cannot remember anything about them.
But at the end of the credits, it said the next Death Battle was going to be Goku which caused me to go (wtf, again? so soon?) only for it to be vs Freiza.
Which caused me to get hyped, thinking we'd get a full Goku vs Superman tier Goku vs Black Frieza.
My dreams better be a damn premonition because I want to see more of Black Frieza in Death Battle.
