2014 TOYOTA GT86 | IS AN AUTOMATIC GT86 BAD TO DRIVE? REVIEW + BONUS CLIP

We all know that the GT86 is a really fun car to drive with a manual gearbox , what about the automatic variant? Is it as bad as some people say they are? Here is a short review on an automatic GT86 and my thoughts about it. Hope you guys enjoyed this video and thanks for watching!

Hi, I think the ‘Sports’ mode has been switched off at 6.20, notice the small green led before that, which indicates it is ‘on’. A tuned one feels livelier as it eliminates the known ‘torque dip’ at mid rpm zones. On dyno, that’s about 20-30 whp gain over the stock, depending on other mods.

Oh is it, I guessed i might have turned it off without noticing lol. Yeah i’m positive a tuned one would be a lot better to drive especially with the linear torque curve as compared to the stock one with the torque dip as you mentioned.

Full tank at least can go 420km. I own a BRZ and most of the time i push the car very hard as if you dint press enough on the pedal you feel the car bit heavy and sluggish.😂

Wow thats not bad, the owner of this particular car said he could only get about 380km per full tank of 97.
