Support units have always been a priority for me when considering banners to pull since they don’t age out as fast as other archetypes.
I got insane luck for Citrinne who was my most wanted hero from engage, and +10'd her in like. 700 orbs lmao. And yeah she is like bonkers genuinely insane kill potential that feels illegal and also the support??? She is similar to Brave Chrom who when he came out, I said status effects are gonna be more common, and much stronger. And yeah that 100% became the case. She is gonna be timeless JUST from that

Wow, amazing video! Im currently using Isadora a lot in AR-O as a support for my W!Byleth and Brave Corrin. Maybe bonus doubler and omnitanking are not as good as they used to but they work for me! Also, I believe we need a new near save units tier list because I dont know how to face the new busted meele nukes like W!Edelgard or Dimitri 😂
One of my projects is having good setups for Limited Battles. Binding Blade and Jugdral are my worst at the moment. I got through Freyr last go round because I pulled the trigger on feeding my rearmed Ophelia bank to my +10 Lewyn. Nice to see all the possible support options in one place.
Unrelated: I was jamming out to the Xenoblade 3 music and almost started crying when the flutes came in lol

@@princeofsilesse8803 don't give me too much credit lol. He was an accident. Just showed up a lot till +8 over a couple years (even after I foddered a couple for special spiral). I decided to finish him and used him a lot.
Good review. I think where Camilla will really shine is allowing omnitanks (with special damage reduction or flat reduction) to deal with the nukes with remote skills. Most nukes can easily pierce or shred DR already and even if they didnt have it on their base kit with tempo 4 skills available...
Awesome tier list video, ended up getting 3 Heathers! So now Regin has ruse 4 💪🏼and I love using Soren support, works great with summer Ymir, or legendary Robin to name a few

As someone who loves their support units (personally I feel they tend to age well compared to other kind of units. A speedster, for example, might get completely ruined when the speed cap rises too high for them to reach, meanwhile a support will still be able to their stuff and a Dancer is always a dancer, I mean.) this vide felt like a Christmas present!! ❤
Learned few tricks I had overlooked on certain units from this as well.

I'm just missing one unit though, admits the 3 Lucina's, and Valentine's Chrom, where is Fallen Chrom? The Self-refresh +Exposure & snag 4 + Special Acceleration makes him very versatile in both Hit & Run and Galeforce strategies and I've been running him all year on AR offense . Don't know if you forgot or don't think he's worth it
Also, doesn't Flame Tribe Tana deserve her last merge? 😢 (jk there)
My girl Catria still out here carrying teams on her back. Ontop of creating her own archetype, she slots so easily into other teams, especially offense teams. She has sprcial cooldown, mobility and brave for galeforce strats and her warping helps tanking teams to get into position and clean up pots much easier. I honestly dont see her dropping off much next year unless they introduce a schism structure. Her defense archetype will drop, but as an offense support, she will rise, by a lot (and she is insanely slept on for ARO).
Hopefully she gets a busted refine, something like she inherently counts towards triangle attack (not just as a visible bonus) to get around schism for at least herself.
I'll be very surprised if she gets a refine ever. I'm expecting her to get added to the no refine club alongside Reinhardt and surtr
@@Oblivionknight I doubt she will be put into that club tbh, by the time she gets a refine in 2030 (she's a seasonal) there's going to be so many better units. Surtr and Reinhardt were in a unique position where it was still early days for refines and power creep and giving them a refine would have brought them back into the top of the meta.
All they have to do really for Catria is give her some better combat prowess. It would make her strong again, but it would be like bride fjorm, she becomes usable for about a month or so then gets immediately outclassed by a new support (remix Mila) that provides better/more relevant support effects and is stronger in combat.
Minor mistake, on the duo chrom panel you specified the CD reduction was on assist but it's on the weapon(we definitely don't need to give LChrom even more toys). Any unit can reposition/draw back etc chrom and gain the cooldown.

I really like A!Elincia, she's the strongest offensive Staff Flier and comes with +6 atk/spd and GFU buffs, inflicts +1 CD and Guard when her special procs and with the introduction of Deadly Miasma she can also place Haze veins and pack an even bigger punch as a staff unit that can get an omni-dull effect compared to the other movement types with staffs
I would have split these up between Support/Debuffer to save some sanity lol

Elincia support is so good cause it makes threatening units much more threatening and even fun builds more threatening. For example I have a plus 10 hitari Deen, with bone cleaver, double savage blow, wind sweep and now flared sparrow. He does a TON of splash damage but doe to wind sweep can’t make a follow up, which I could run courtly fan or vicious dagger for that but with Elincia it makes this silly build much more threatening with the null follow up buff. Currently I’m using him as a nuke who does up to 21 splash damage with B!Elincia in aether raids offense combined with Heiðr. And thanks to Heiðr, even if deen isn’t in range for the null follow up buff, she gives him dual strike so he can get two hits anyways. The best part of all this good support is that it makes the units you build for fun much better

I love Brave Soren just for how unique he is. If tanking ever makes a comeback, he'll be right there to throw them in the enemy's face.

Glad someone trash talked Freyr, he has been the worst thing added in the game by far. People tend to say how Elemine used to be dumb and kinda was but required position and only affected one line, even so L Robin was more broken in his time than Elemine, but Freyr is just plain dumb.

Pretty good list! I still wouldn't keep catria in triple sss tier or robin. As a ploy 4 and ruse 4 owner those skills absolutely kill those units.
I understand Catria stayed in that tier. But for male Robin, I feel like he fell off since Ploy 4 is more common now that each new banner has a hero with the skill

V!Robin is missing! 5hp healing per hit is typicly more than 7hp healing after combat (from celine etc). L!Seliph for example loves her support because he has brave attacks and has an easier time to charge his miracle up again because its incombat, while Celine and gatekeeper cant heal him after combat if he dies because he didnt got his miracle.

It's not necessary. It does increase your scoring in game modes like Aether Raids, but only for specific heroes
I'm glad GK is in SS tier. I know it's kind of a meme in this channel to kind of dog on the character... which to be fair yeah in SD anyone with 2 brain cells knows how to work around his warp bubble. It's the same as throwing him in AR-D it just doesn't work when you face actual people. AR-O and Arena though he's god tier to have. I've never had a bad arena run since +10ing him even once.

Edit. Favorite support is Citrinne. Her ability to give most visible buffs is busted. Especially if she has the highest attack and she can spread L! Eliwood's bonus doubler towards the rest of the allies.

B U T...
I really don't understand your opinion on Freyr.
He maybe counters Elimine, Fjorm and some niche supports like Loki, V!Leo or red tome vilains lol.
But Elimine:
- literally makes entire defense archetypes unusable (Catball, Cordiball, Citrinne teams, Flier lines or even healer traps).
- ruins your whole team building if it includes any of Infantry Pulse, Assign Decoy, NFU granting c skills, Hardy Fighter, Time's Pulse, Pulse Tie, Grand Strategy, Rally Spectrum which are fun tool that encourage theorycafting and planification.
- particularily counters the only special things about Lif, Thrasir, Duma and Otr (4 of the 6 anima mythics released before her).
- erase the uniqueness of way more units than Freyr does (if we assume Veyle is only good for the scowl effect and not the resonnance buffs, Elimine makes 7 of the 10 sss tier pretty bland just for example).
The first one forces the offense player to adapt (good design) and to chose a team that does not rely on some debuffs.The second one makes teambuilding super restrictive and discourage you to have a team with units that support eachother and cover theirmutual weaknesses (terrible design).
On top of that unit slots are more precious in defense than in offense (except for galeforce) and positionning your units perfectly is more difficult in defense too. Running Freyr seems like a bigger cost than running Elimine...

Not fan of the tiering but I do think Oblivion's take about her is fair.
I always bring her in one of my AR teams at the very least since she's basically a free win if Freyr isn't deployed, but she's not a top tier mythic to invest in, just a great counterpick.
@@Exiled28 Sorry I wasn't clear. Tbh I think her placement is fair and I didn't mean to discuss about Elimine's position in the list. She's not top tier bc usable in one season in one gamemode + now Freyr change things.
What I wanted to talk about is how IMO Freyr is not as much of a mistake as Oblivion thinks. Or at least compared to Elimine with how both influence defense design. I think she was a mistake and I don't mind people thinking she's not as long as they don't think Freyr is one.
@H3ilio_FEH Oh, I get you now, Freyr is indeed fairer than Elimine, mainly because of how much more favored offense is in general, Freyr can be annoying, but he barely affects the most popular astra strategy: tanking, so he does have counterplay.
I can't talk much about SD since I barely even play it, but in AR, he's less oppressive than, let's say Embla.
@@Exiled28 Yeah it comes down to how favored offense is I agree. Offense doesn't rely as much on debuffs as defense rely on coherent buff sharing.
But actually Freyr does affects tanking as he counters Elimine who encourages it haha.
Btw in SD Freyr is used in cavlines to counter Thorr's stall and sometimes as a near savior with assign decoy but hes not really a menace.
@H3ilio_FEH Luckily, we do have Veyle and Ratatoskr now to support tanking as well, so Freyr is more manageable, there's also Heidr that counters him and most of his teams.
It does make sense that Freyr isn't that popular on SD, 3 movement melee cavs are easily the weakest movement type there.

Personally can't agree with your hate for freyr while claiming catria was ok. Always found her a lot more frustrating than he is. Also never really had any problem using Cordelia over her to warrant a different placing but that's just me.
Bridal Fjorm dropping from S to B hurts. Regardless, I’m still using her in both seasons because of her Drive Penalty Neutralization and not everyone has Freyr on their defense.
I don’t have Mila but even if I did, I wouldn’t use her over Bridal Fjorm because she can’t heal (and I also don’t like her art).

in all seriousness though - I don't know if I would have Robin at SSS tier. I just feel that with more and more refines having penalty neutralization to them (or just instantly having it now). wouldn't that knock him down a few pegs (not to mention ploy 4 is coming out hot and heavy as well). hitting it just as hard right? (if i'm wrong here i do stand corrected)
as in regards to Nah. I personally feel she's a bit too low. you mentioned pledge but pledge is on one unit (as of right now). - and infantry only and Nah also gives def/res support as well as the special cooldown to ALL units. so yeah if you want to run flier only teams Hinoka has you covered and if you are infantry Pledge has you covered, but Nah also supports armours and horses which there is yet a skill cover those. so i feel that could be a bit higher (but each their own).
