Feels like everyone is sleeping on Winter Dimitri, that unit does not lose against anything. He can solo so many Aether Raid teams it's not even funny. I think he's easily just as strong as winter Edel in Aether raids / arena but is only slightly weaker than her in Summoner Duels.
I agree, I have a single neutral copy and he sweeps everything in aether raids even the strongest nukes with Hardy bearing like duo sanaki can't even finish him, and as long as he survives that one Hardy bearing unit it's GG
The fact that his only counter is either Flash since he doesn't have Null C Disrupt, not letting him player phase, or Hardy Bearing....
Yeah, my -speed one is doing ALL the work in AR
@@Purulixir maybe flash but Hardy bearing doesn't stop him because he usually survives the hit anyway with his insane team debuff and DR
Can confirm, I had a heart attack when all my other characters were killed except him and proceeded to watch him Vantage + Blue Yule Axe + No Quarter = dead everyone on the map.

I can go along with all of this list except for maybe Holloween Anna. I haven't seen an opposing Halloween Anna since she released so i don't know how much of a threat she actually is.

Winter dimitri is several being overlooked. Probably because of no quarter fodder but the dude is just as braindead as the other winter units. Easily ramps into no quarter (and bypasses scowl effect without needing rally spectrum) with his high atk and unlike most cav nukes, can enemy phase by becoming a vantage sweeper and a ball of of stats with damage reduction. Obviously he still has counters like hardy bearing sanaki and sweep effects but still beats sweep effects based on speed like hinoka's. Used him in arena in during his bonus week and it was some of the easiest runs I've done
winter dmitri is probably my pick on the best PvE unit like holy shit he could just one turn almost any abyssal map
Actually Hardy bearing duo sanaki doesn't counter him. He eats her attack like a sponge and still usually has at least half hp remaining
@@codeman916 a well supported sanaki (enemy getting debuffs from the rest of her team) will kill dmitri everytime, even during his bonus season
@@superfactorial5717 well I'd have to see it to believe it. Because from the past two weeks I've never seen a sanaki defeat him in the vault
@@codeman916 thats the bonus season effect for you. on the sims he needs around 65HP to reliably tank an unmerged sanaki with +6 atk buff and glimmer (with peony buff btw, thats only with exposure bonus dmg), and thats like 3 mythics + HP seal if you are using him outside his bonus season
As a lot of others have mentioned, I also agree that Winter Dimitri is heavily slept on. His combination of a basically unconditional Vantage (as long as he's initiated and activated it) alongside an absurd amount of true damage that ignores DR is absurd. This single unit will essentially warp your gameplan to play around him, because aside from sweep effects, the only real way to take him down is to prioritize and initiate on him first.
He's easier to bait and play around on defense, but in the player's hands it's near-unstoppable and literally sweeps teams.
Idk if we can call that slept on if a lot of others are mentioning it, lol

I mean, your arguments on T!Lysithea apply also to him, only he hits arguably harder most of the time and have some shenanigans to make it harder to retaliate if he hit you first. He was one of the first modern nukes to have DR making it hard to retaliate
@@ACLozMusik Mostly enemy phase bullying, actually lol. Once people started running Spiral 4 save armors, he was already in a heap of trouble. He also just completely folds to Lucia.
Great vid, Tacho. I'm surprised to not see W!Dimitri on the list - that unit is BONKERS!
I thought the list was really good for blues and reds and kind of meh for others. I understand not liking armors (i dislike them myself) but denying them as top units in the colorless pool isn't very faithful. Green was weird b/c you skipped Legendary Robin, Christmas Dimitri, and Bridal Catria. Also, it's odd to dunk on Wind Claude for being too one dimensional and then put duo Dagr up there for a button she can only press in certain game modes.

Surprised that Veyle wasn’t even mentionned. To me she seems like a pretty good nuke and with scowl support she can really help tanks and savior units do their job

Green this year is pretty stacked with good units and fodder bank, need the green dream AHR for L!Alear merges personally
2:20 This part is not entirely true. While Lucia is the only unit who can disable ALL specials, Legendary Nanna disables all Specials that trigger on foe’s hit, like Pavise, Aegis, Godlike Reflexes, etc.
you dont have Winter Dimitri? He is insane, he can solo any infernal map or content in the game, any AR team, if you dont kill him before his attack he unleash a Xmas hell on your enemies, tbh all Xmas unit are op

I personally feel like W!Dimitri got mega snubbed here, not even being an HM is insane.. maybe everybody’s too focused on how borked Edelgard is but he’s seriously ridiculous, if the enemy doesn’t have a Hardy Bearing seal user / they’ve been taken out, he can straight up vantage sweep entire teams
There’s so many good units though it’s easy to not mention any and everybody. This game is wild !
Can you do top 4* for each fe title?
I have a few titles where i lack good units and dont know where to start, in building a good solit unit.
As a result i struggle in that mode where is limited to two fe title units.

Pretty good list, everyone has their opinions but I agree with this for the most part. But on green man, I think people sleep on winter Dimitri, he's almost unstoppable right now on AR offense. I haven't seen a unit with even Hardy bearing seal take him out. He even easily tanks duo sanaki and that's saying something!
an optimized sanaki team will kill dmitri 10 times out of 10. one thing that always bugged me on sanakis i faced is that the team dont support her at all by giving enemy debuffs
I mean Sanaki shreds him easy and most competitive players will have her, usually with HB Seal. I say this as a W!Dimitri user, he's not unkillable. He doesn't have Null-C so it's not hard to get around him.
@@superfactorial5717 but even if optimized you can easily let either him take out what you need him to, that supports sanaki. And in light season he gets debuff neutralization from peony. And if he's solo he takes away most of sanaki's DR piercing anyway. I'm speaking from controlling him in player phase against aether raids AI not summoner duels

Might be valuing movement a bit too much in some cases. Winter Dimitri should edge out rearmed lucina for example.

As someone who at the moment has +3 winter Edelgard at 64 pulls makes me happy seeing her at the top. Why am I not surprised seeing Zelgius here (but I'm sad I didn't get ninja duo Sanaki on that banner)?

Awesome video, A while back you reviewed that Japanese site that had their own tier list any updates on that? If so can you do a video on that? You can try to use Google translate plug-in to translate the page also it's not the best translation but sometimes it's good enough to make out what they are trying to say.
5 minutes into the video, and I just have to say, because of how her B Skill was worded, it made me think Dagr didn't have Pathfinder on herself. That's what made me not even bother touching red when summoning on that banner.
really amazing how much this differers when you would ignore summoner duels. a unit like thórr is basically non existent if you can't use the duo skill. i have reached the point in ar where i sometimes forget that some of my units even have duo skills because they are so irrelevant

I'm surprised we didn't see Summer Ephraim here even in honorable mention, 4 movement all the time, b sky high defense, canto and can galeforce really well, he's been a mainstay on my teams and is only getting better with merges
Zelgius is just so badass! His armor looks so sick
My favorite combo is thief!Nina and Brave!Chrom.
I do feel L!Dimitri with his refine should be an honorable mention. You can give him Pledge and loop GLR with his full tempo, he has innate dr piercing without the need for a special, and of course his pulse / guard smoke with 3 tiles is really good.
I've been grinding him on SD and he can tank +10 W!Edelgards and TT!Ayras, Gullveig, etc.. N!Sanaki can't actually kill him if he has any form of penalty neutralization, and so far the units he struggles with are L!Camilla and +10 W!Dimitri.
He's not game breaking by any means, but I'm surprised how well he's holding up. Definitely a satisfying unit to dump support on.

Lmao, I was literally just wondering this question too. I've been on and off I paying attention to the hardcore scene, so the last I saw godswords were all the rage, but I know that's since changed with Book VI onward.

If we got an all green dream again, I'd guess: L!Alear / WT!Claude / W!Dimitri / L!Camilla.
Red: N!Sanaki / W! Byleth / L!Hinoka / Myt!Kvasir.
Blue: NY!Seidr / W!Edelgard / L!Veyle / R!Plumeria.
Colorless: Myt!Gullveig / Tea!Lysithea / R!Tana / W!Yunaka.
If one of every color: N!Sanaki / W!Edelgard / L!Camilla/ Myt!Gullveig.
The last one is what I think the most would choose but if it was me, I'd put W!Byleth in place of N!Sanaki and W!Dimitri in place of L!Camilla.
HM to R!Lucina, I can see her in the top 8 too, and she's helping me so much in AR! Her, W!Dimitri and W!Byleth are best friends there! 😂
I have a +10 D!Dagr with Flared Sparrow and Assassins strike and trust me, their atk power is insane

Here's an analogy. The pawn in chess does the same amount of damage to enemy pieces as the queen. But the queen is far better because it has the best mobility.

hmm, fairly different from what I'd imagine for a list like this off the top of my head. half of the list feel arguable to me. maybe that's more about the state of this game than anything else, lmao. gonna cook a bit more before I come to a conclusion
Great list, hurts not to see my boy claude up there though... I think you may be overlooking his support aspect by just being a flyer who can run guidance and flared sparow. Additionally inflicting gravity because of deep star is broken and this ~combination~ of team mobility and enemy movement hindrance enables hit and run for some teams, making him a great support and nuke unit who is vital for certain team comps.
I’ve honestly not had much problem with byleth
I haven’t really seen him struggle with anything except for duo sanaki and he still puts in the work

People are just so weird. Everyone is crying about powercreep being "disgusting" but then turn around and are disappointed that the following units after aren't "busted beyond belief"..... Make up your mind fehtubbers do you like disgusting powercreep or dont you?
I have yet to see, but do a F2P version maybe make it top 3 instead because F2P options are weaker.
F2P here is any 4* focus (both limited and normal pool units), grails, and start of book free OC. If you want to be spicy things like brave heroes or M!Alear but assume them at 1 copy instead of +10 because you don’t get 11 free copies.
Yet to see is me saying I have not watched the video, but no why any F2P unit is in this list.
This is a tier list for winners only. F2P are anything but that. ❌️

This one feels like "top SD units" and not game units. It's fair that you care much about that mode but halfway through and most of the things apply either mostly or only to that mode. It really warps the way you value the units

SD is heavily weighted here, yeah. Its the most competitive mode. AR would be next, and I feel like its way too easy to really have much of an influence on this tier list.

Kinda sad that A!Nino seems like the most disappointing green unit of the year and I double booned her (wish i could transplant florets from one unit to another because I've made other mistakes with florets in the past). Christmas banner put up an ultimate red wall against her and Yunaka does what she does but better.
I think wind claude is the best green unit.
wind tribe claude isn't just busted to f2p, what kind of assumption is that? He's a literal delete button that can proc 2 lethality in a row, and that's only basekit, his A and C skill while already being great options can be replaced with stupid things like flared sparrow or deadly miasma for even more damage, mobility isn't a problem either his C skill is already self sufficent but he can always run guidance 4 or def/res smoke 4 for support, i think putting duo dagr that is only good at mobility but not wind tribe claude that is pretty much good at everything is rather bad faith, and i definetly notice some bias towards the muscle big boobed lady, as there's many other character that can give the same or better mobility than she does and can also fight for themselves, i would even argue that legendary sigurd is on the same level as her in term of mobility support right now, just like her he gives extra mobility to his team and that's it.
Also winter dimitri and gatekeeper not even being named sounds like heresy to me, if you vallue mobility above all else, if as you say mobility is the most important and busted thing a unit can get i think warp's best counter should've been at least an honorable mention just like how you put duo thorr in top 5 for being a counter to brave chrom. And winter dimitri is just stupid, he doesn't die but he sure does kill you
I have never fought wind Dagr in any game mode so I have no reference for how good she is. I think if she were truly top 5 material more people would be aware of how strong she supposedly is and you would see her somewhere outside of summoner duels. I would replace her with Kvasir personally. Can't disagree with any of your other top reds, though I would personally put Hinoka higher than tea Ayra.

Green I cannot agree with duo Dagr being a top 5 unit in the game. They're very useful for mobility but not much else. I would replace them with winter Dimitri for sure, he's busted as fuck. I'm not sure about Halloween Anna being number one either. They're definitely top 5, but I think Alear edges it out for me. That's definitely up to preference, though.
No objections for colorless either.
