I watched the verbal hieroglyphics part 100 times. She’s speaking vegan I think
It definitely ends with “so I’m gonna show you”, but the rest is nothing to me
@@whereisawesomeness Mario accent.. “ sonowamagonnashowu “. The rest is nothing to everyone including maya.
I think she said "is it too good? I wish it is, so hier let me show you" but I could also be wrong.
@@kokokoko5105 I think your wrong bro😂🙏 if it was decipherable the ai would have got it
I hear "It's just that I need to go so I'm gonna show you" which makes sense to me
I know Maya doesn't check comments but legit these vlogs are so chill and enjoyable and I'm here for them
Doesnt she? Seeing a couple hearts on some comments
@@danielv.6415she’s said on a live once she rlly only looks at comments on videos that are more experimental from what she usually posts
@@danielv.6415I think that's her editor doing that
She does check comments just not yours😂
@@TheJokerha damn bro why the hate mans just asking a question😅 lol
I love it when you film the tiny house in a slightly different angle and you realize how small it is, it's a cute little house
I've literally shown my parents screenshots of Maya's house because they plan on building a tiny house. I think it's adorable.
Let's gooo, Voiceover Maya. My favourite kind of Maya.
HappyCow is very helpful for finding vegetarian/vegan restaurants
I second this!
Ooo! Thanks for the info! I’ve had a lot of trouble finding places to eat as a vegetarian
Especially when you're traveling, it makes life so much easier
I love HappyCow, perfect for finding places esp when traveling
4:37 it really adds to the video to see how much fun you’re having making these voiceovers and random vids like this, love the vlogs they’re very comfy and funny. I mean the Duolingo joke was hilarious, props to the editor for always spicing it up with memes and ofc Maya for all the radiant positive energy
Narrator Maya is kind of hilarious. And editing Maya is funny as crap. lol
lmao maya doesn’t edit her own videos but yeah her and her editor are both really funny
The whole "oh I ate it had me laughing"
These vlogs are art! Impeccable vibe and energy! Can't put my finger on what makes it work so well, the editing is a part of it for sure, but I guess your vibe just really works with this format.
Love the vlogs, they are always really good. Especially with the voiceovers makes them an easy watch
Voiceover Maya is great, the enthusiasm really shines through. Great vlog, 10/10.
vlog just feels more genuine, i dont think people would mind if you just filmed whatever you feel happy/comfortable with and then just give more details/context later in voiceover. great job
I like Mayas approach of telling people to just consume less animals products rather than just saying to stop consuming animal products all together
That's the problem with aggressive vegans... All their aggressiveness has the opposite effect on people, they'll just eat more meat in spite of those kind of vegans.
it's a shame people are so sensitive. grown ass adults having to be coddled about their harmful choices.
@@arthiga4076people that are this petty would've never tried going vegan in their lives. it's so sad to see that people care more about getting told gently and nicely instead of thinking about the harm animal product consumption does. We're here to care about the animals, not some nasty people that won't change
@@maiyorha do you really think they're "nasty people that won't change"? Or could it be that they simply have a different world view than you? Do you not do things that others find morally repulsive?
@@ryanfrank1309 well they are specifically responding to people who eat more meat to spite vegans - and people who do that are indeed nasty morally repulsive people. You might have a different moral compass, but killing and inducing more suffering than necessary simply to "spite" someone should be considered immoral by any self respecting person with any moral compass.
i loved the cozy quick vlog, you should definitely post more especially if its easier for you to record them
your vids are so fun to watch, i just put your vids on tv the other day and my family were so invested lol
These videos are nice, its honestly good to see Maya doing well. All the good things she does for the world she deserves the happy things.
Also all this food looks so dang good the heck
i love your mixed live talking/voiceover vlogging style so god damn much maya you have no idea
Great chill vlog. Thanks Maya!
Your vlogs are so good because they seem real. Especially if you are in public places :) love em, don't be too harsh to yourself... You deserve more than that!
first time watching anything of yours...this was good in that scuffed cozy human way
yt is over-produced now, but still not produced well enough to feel totally professional
this was refreshing...I'll mb come back for more
I hope y’all have fun!
this vid seriously made my day
I have a dairy allergy so I often eat vegan centered meals when I am at work/ out and about. When I started going to vegan restaurants I was also apprehensive because I am not a salad girly either. Every time I go to a vegan restaurant I am blown away by how similar it is to the "real" version of the meal. I talk to highly of how good it is and take friends as often as possible to show people that it really is easy to do! Can't wait to see more comfy vlogs!
I LOVED THISSS more vlogs pls pls
it was enough and i didn't hate it!!!!!! love the cozy vlog style
Your videos are so cute and genuine. I really like how you’re unapologetically yourself and put your content out there. I thought the vlog was good. It was short but to the point and didn’t drag on. Never thought about eating vegan foods but I’ll have to try it sometime. Definitely not going to be full vegan though.
wife hears this video while im watching and says "oh she sounds like she'd be fun to be friends with"
extremely high wife approval, good job maya
hats off to u and your editor! fun stuff as always
These vids are so good, I don't watch vlogs ever. But your stuff is crazy good
I love the Ratatouille music casually in the background
I LOVE your vlogs, truthfully, they are SO cozy and real to watch so I really hope you do more!!💕💕👌🏽
“… oh I ate it haHahHAahA”
(favorite part🤣)

I’ll give u a like cuz people will hate on u
@@BeesechurgerdI’m watching this while operating a forklift this shit ain’t nothing to me man
ur voice over work is so entertaining
One of the best meat substitutes/ alternatives I ever had was jackfruit pulled “pork”. Shredded jackfruit that was smoked then cooked in bbq sauce. Sooo good
this video makes me want to cry (wholesome) I just love the vibes of your vids, this one especially !!
All of my fav vegan spots in Austin have unfortunately closed lol so I wish I had some better recommendations, but Nori has some of the more creative vegan takes on Japanese dishes that I’ve seen, and they’ve got the plenty of “sushi” options.
Really love Maya's energy on the voice over videos! She hates vlogging but she's great at it. Editing is also goated
The humour, editing, all of it, its so fun!
edit: so, didnt realise how bot like like my comment sounded...love the vlog!
Black looks nice on you, surprisingly vegan food tastes delicious. Food looks great. Thank you for bringing us along in your adventures.
Weenieee the mooo is so magestic
Maya is very good at making very cozy, chill vlogs. They all feel very grounded in reality and i love it.
The editing is super duper amazing
Cute fit, love the makeup too! Hope the date went well!
i dc idc idc these vlogs are fun imo!! keep 'em coming maya :D
You guys should check out Nori near downtown Austin. It's vegan sushi, and it's incredible. My wife and I's favorite items are the Chick'n Katsu Nigiri, any of the rolls really, and the Ramen. It's all worth tasting though, you can't go wrong. Good luck on your month of veganism!
love it! so chill and real plus promo-ing eating less meat without being preachy. and Winnie!
Love your vlogs ! I've been vegetarian for the past 6 years to reduce my impact on the environment and it has been a really fun journey. Glad you decided to try out being vegan for a month !
Awesome that you are trying vegan food! Been enjoying the cooking streams and thanks for always looking out for animals!
Been veg for 3 yrs and it's been cool to discover all the fun things to cook and eat, feeling better than ever
loved the vlog
Dude tbh loved this vlog ♥️ so chill
Maya, fellow vegan here. I’ve been very committed from the start, so I haven’t had too much trouble, but if you’re on the fence, _make sure_ that you find a few spots that can offer you the hearty stuff. You’re right about the salad thing; a lot of places will say that they have vegan options and you show up to a bunch of salads. *Costanza voice* I’M DONE WITH THE SALADS, JERRY!
Well, salads are the cheapest vegan food they can offer, you'd have to go to gourmet or expensive restaurants to get hearthy vegan meals. Overall, being vegan is way too expensive for most people as it takes up more resources, uses a ton more water, expensive "harmless" pesticides that don't kill critters like bunnies but keep them away from the veggies".
Wanna go for vegan food? Hey i don't blame you, there are plenty of vegan and vegetarian dishes i like, but by no means are they "good for the environment". At least the high demand for vegan stuff lately has made food for cattle cheaper, as there has been a rise in supply of produce that won't sell because of it's looks or because it didn't mature properly and also a rise in veggies that have a high amount of waste for the cattle to eat.
Water shortages aren't a problem because veganism won't take over, so no worries about running out of water to feed all the extremely thirsty veggies that are needed for a vegan diet.
@@rRekko who are you talking to dude
"!!!!!! KKHHHAAAANNNN !!!!!!"

Hearty vegan/vegetarian food is abubdant in indian quisine but lots of vegan westeners have it in their blind spot!
wait i love this editing style!!! great video maya 🙌🙌🫶
Nah those type of vlogs are entertaining af, the voice-over was perfect actually. 10/10 like ur restaurant
Yessss a vlog!
Love the vibes of this video
i love your grwm vlogs!! ur makeup and outfits always slay. pls do more
The editing had me cracking up 😂
wait i love this outfit so much
i enjoyed this video a lot!
i liked this vlog and the food looks amazing :)
Great vlog mayo
Supreme editing as always
I was vegan for awhile, vegetarian for a bit longer- though easier to be pescatarian. I was born and raised in Alaska so I'm used to eating hunted/fished meat that requires licenses and they track populations so it's sustainable and generally beneficial. I find this vastly better than farmed stuff but I'm not trying to play a holier than thou card or anything. The biggest drawback for going vegan for me (when I was) had to be the lack of real cheese. Now that I've gotten into my 30's I don't do as well with cheese anyways however (not like, ew times on the toilet but rather not being able to use the toilet). There's a lot of great vegan options out there now, I still try them as I tend to try most food options (never know what is gonna be amazing right?) so there's that. Well wishes and happy new year.
I’ve been vegan for almost 9 years now (2015) & it is sooo much easier because it got a lot more popular! There are so many new alternatives and creative ways to make things now :) and alternatives all taste better than before lmao. Gardein, follow your heart, violife are some popular brands. For icecream, cashew and almond milk bases are best imo, in that order (coconut isn’t bad, I just wouldn’t give it first place). When you’re in CA, I recommend Plant Power Fast Food. Good luck!
You look amazing!! Have fun!
is it me or voice over maya really gave so much energy and joy in this short video i personally really enjoyed it!
Love the editing ♥😂
i love the editing of these videos
Yeey! good for you 😊
Voiceover Maya is the best!!!! Looking forward to the tortoise ambassador video hahah
I liked this video. I like Voiceover Maya. :) Keep it up!
Loved the vlog!!
to be honest i really enjoyed the loose feel of the video, it felt way more genuine than anything i’ve seen on youtube in who knows how many years. thanks for bringing me back to the youtube i fell in love with for a bit
fun vlog! and the voiceover mode lets you film a bunch of random shots you find interesting and talk about them later on.
Very entertaining video Maya!!
local foods and flower child in austin are more casual but have rlly good vegan options!
Keep doing these! I found a entertaining
not vegan, but i do enjoy plant based/meat free meals fairly often. i hear pumpkin seeds are really high in protein, and they're really good
the cozy vibes are refreshing !
Vlog was amazing!!! Loved the Easter egg😭
a dark vlog is a vibe itself. i wouldn't be like "they need to up the lights for this vlog". it was chill 👍
Loved the voice over.
HEEYYYYYYYY it was a pretty good vlog, i lovedd
I love the voiceover vlog (vvlog) format
Hey love your vlogs. I think an interesting thing you could talk about is the deforestation going on in south eastern asia and talk about how harmful palm products are to the enviroment.
Great vlog.
very cozy vlog :)
Wow I really enjoyed the voice-over style.
The footage was pretty good even the unedited stuff was dark but serviceable IMO. I get not wanting to vlog in a restaurant, I feel weird even taking a quick pick of my food.
Looking good as usual. Sheesh.
lol that mumble at 1:48 was impressive. Also the beer plant is amazing, it's on the pricier side (nothing too crazy) but the experience is totally worth it.
I love ur dogs Maya!!
If this is what vlogging is then I’m down. Also your lashes are amazing.
There's also Chinese fake meats (made of bean curd and stuff) but not sure how vegan friendly it is. I know for vegetarian diets it's fine
veganuary woo!!! good luck! i'm hoping to start my vegan journey soon so this is cool to see! :) also i swear vegan food is often SOO much better, because vegans know how to SEASON!! it's so good
Fun view! Thanks for the slice of your life. Had a Ludwig vibe at the end. lol Cozy and entertaining 😊
bro i have not been able to unsee this for so long you legit look like kris tyson
I dont think these vlogs are slow boring poopoo at all i love them 😭❤️
Thank you Maya Higa
Maya vlogs are the best, maya’s existence is the best rgh
Before I've even watched the full video here's recs for vegan places in austin!!!

Vegan nom - taco food truck on Cesar Chavez
Milkyway shakes + possom pizza are vegan food trucks in the same lot!
El Dorado has a good vegan menu
Next level burger is pretty good, it's in whole foods
These are my favorites!
