The way Maya uses the animal ambassadors as starting points for important conversation topics, and the way she utilises Twitch in such a unique way is so smart and amazing imo
I love that you did a video on Maya! I watch her channel all the time and she does so much for conservation. She really is such a treasure, we need more people like her for our planet.
Ooh I absolutely loved this episode! She is living my dream haha. Completely in love with her bug friendly garden as well. I am currently undergoing a lot of surgeries for a medical condition and I am getting really anxious about my upcoming colostomy surgery. This gave me something to be inspired by and be hopeful about. Would love to live a similar life someday, who knows.
I’m so impressed by this young lady and all she is doing. I love how clean and nice too the pets homes are and how each is cared for and loved. Including bugs, which I love as well. And her place is adorable too.
Such a young woman who has accomplished so much! I can really appreciate her drive and her mission for her sanctuary. I wish her continued success and happiness as she works to save more animals and educate the public. Oh, and her tiny house is lovely, too. 😊❤
I absolutely love Maya's home, both with her beautiful tiny home and her amazing outdoor home at the animal sanctuary! Everything about her tiny home is so perfect, from all the windows and the large kitchen to the comfy loft bedroom. I also liked the large shower and mirror she replaced the medicine cabinet mirror with. The animal sanctuary tour was awesome! She is obviously loved by all the animals, which shows how dedicated she is to truly helping them and educating people too. Excellent video!
This is the best video you've ever done! I enjoyed Maya, her home, and all the animals. What a thoughtful person. I will follow her channel now. I loved every second of this video.
i love Maya and Alveus. her buying a tiny home when she could very easily have gotten a big house on the property goes to show how dedicated she is to her sanctuary, she's dreaming big and needs the space. her journey and mission is incredible. she also does some other videos traveling and showcasing other sanctuary's and non profits, recently she went to brazil to do a video on purple martin birds which was so interesting. I'm glad you did a video on her and her tiny house :) Maya is a beautiful person inside and out and a huge role model to me and thousands more :)
That was truly amazing. Her reverence for habitats all over the world is so inspiring. If anyone lives east of the Rockies you can help the purple martins with their nesting habitat! It made me wish I lived there lol
I think this probably was my favorite episode yet! Most likely because I share in her passions On the animal side, with most of my work, life committed to caring for all things with fur, scales, feathers, hair you name it. It chances are it's come into the emergency vet at some point! Having my own sanctuary has been a lifelong consideration, so this just makes me think about it more intensely since I'm in the process of finding a new property for long-term living. Kind of my last permanent place to have out the rest of my years! Incorporating my passions of animals with it would be the ultimate and it's nice to see somebody who's actually started and is doing that process. Very cool! If I had to guess I would think she is a Virgo as well! Fantastic episode and thank you for allowing her to share her story in her own words. Well done and very informative. Her skills for how to be captivating behind the camera or on point. It's pretty hard to take your eye off of what's going on and her entire presence is one that is easy to stay interested. Congratulations on such a beautiful place you have made... It's really awesome! I wish I was close enough to come visit. I'm admittingly not so great on conservation things, I guess beyond recycling because I do that and repurpose anything I possibly can. But having conservation on my mind's front is usually not the case. But after this I will admit she makes you think longer and harder about something. Maybe you did not so much before.
Oh then you'll really enjoy Maya's content. The Alveus Sanctuary youtube and twitch channels have 24 hour livestreams on the animals. Maya does these tours a bit more in depth for other content creators and for her community a few times a month. And on Maya's personal channel, she does fun activities for the animals. She just uploaded a great Purple Martin video while she was in Brazil.

Same! And thanks to her, I am a bit more conscious about bugs in my house. I moved kinda recently to a house near a national park in my country and every time I see a bug inside now, I try to leave it outside without harming it and I try to be more conscious about the reason they are inside to begin with (I need to clean more often, I need to check the humidity of the room, I need to check if the windows are properly closed, etc) instead of just killing them.

I LOVE Maya's tiny home! It's so full of light and beautifully set up. I especially love all the pink in her home. Pink is also my favorite color and it's the color of my former sewing room. My new sewing room is on the 2nd floor of our barn because I'm sewing large quilts and tiny cat toys. And the animal sanctuary where Maya works? I LOVE IT! I wish I could visit someday.
Maya and the team do great work, and there's some hilarious moments with other content creators meeting the animals too - highlight for me was Peachjars crying with joy in the parrot enclosure. Great to see people getting over their fears with bugs and snakes etc too - top content!
I love the animal sanctuary. It's so cool that she can run it. My macaw really liked her amazon. He said 'hello' when she asked her amazon to do it. My bird is another who was abandoned at a pet store probably because he was too loud.
the yard might be "overgrown" but its so pretty and full looking. i love that its a habitat for all the little creatures that might want to live there. i love maya's content and cause so much as well.
I enjoy the yard left native habitat with minimal work done... I wish my neighborhood would allow me to do that. I do leave big circles of my lawn unmowed and try to pick out invasive grasses and plants, but I get shit for it by my neigbours. I love how she is far out enough for noone to bother her about it, humans have forgotten to live with nature.
I love Maya's care for every animal she encounters. From a caterpillar to a cow, she shows tenderness for every living creature. The world needs more people like her.
Such a great video!! I know caring for all of these animals is a lot of work, but she's living the dream life! I love it. Thank goodness each of these animals are part of her sanctuary. It's obvious how well taken care of each animal is.... And each of their enclosures are stunning too!! Much love 💕😊
I am so glad that Maya and her sanctuary are doing so many wonderful things!!!!! When it becomes about our environment and Mother Nature 🌬️ they are not doing well due to pollution, air quality, landfills, etc…. Where I live, we do what we can to keep our communities clean and healthy, but unfortunately the majority of our population doesn’t care about our streets and our living standards. It is heartbreaking and it’s frustrating at times, but I have faith in our humanity that maybe one day they will come to their senses”…….
I love Maya and what she does, I’ve learned so much about animals and the environment and what I can do to help! Her tiny house is literally the reason why I want one

@user-gf8cv7eh9k Some of the old ones have helped persevere millions of acres of wilderness throughout the USA.
Sadly many greedy & corrupt old ones have caused shocking damage to OUR environment.
There's nothing stopping you from contributing too you know.
@@RichardStrong86 what makes you think I haven’t?
Maya! Wow! For such a young lady, you sure have built an animal kingdom! I really enjoyed seeing your home and sanctuary. You're one special lady for sure! Your animals love you! ❤
If you are interested in her videos, there's an Alveus youtube channel! It's great!
The way Maya uses the animal ambassadors as starting points for important conversation topics, and the way she utilises Twitch in such a unique way is so smart and amazing imo
The Mosaic Backsplash in the kitchen is so cute. I love it
if you go to her own tour on her channel she shows it a bit more. it wraps around and has bugs in it as well
if you're curious i believe she made it out of old ceramics, a great showcase on how to reuse old things!
@@maiyorhathank you :)
What an incredible lady! We need more ppl like her in this world! Thank you for featuring her cute home and the amazing sanctuary she operates.
I hope the best for you and your surgery. You got this.
Good luck! You got this
sending you love!!! itll be okay
Lol, by the time I got to the end of the video, I had completely forgotten about her tiny house, I was so enthralled by the animals!
It’s a beautiful house with less clutter. Room sizes are nice. Love the windows. Impressive work being done to educate the public.
LOL YOU BLURRED THE DOGGY BUTT. amazing. i love maya and alveus, thanks for featuring them!!
Her tiny house is beautiful but the best part was the animal sanctuary and her love and care for the animals!!♥
i love Maya and Alveus. her buying a tiny home when she could very easily have gotten a big house on the property goes to show how dedicated she is to her sanctuary, she's dreaming big and needs the space. her journey and mission is incredible.
she also does some other videos traveling and showcasing other sanctuary's and non profits, recently she went to brazil to do a video on purple martin birds which was so interesting. I'm glad you did a video on her and her tiny house :)
Maya is a beautiful person inside and out and a huge role model to me and thousands more :)
also love the editing on this video, amazing work
That was truly amazing.
Maya is Gemini
Hands down my favorite video EVER on this channel! Loved it so much!!! Thank you for sharing!!!
Maya is my hero! May the goals she has for her beautiful sanctuary continue to manifest in the best way possible for all the animals in her care, her staff, volunteers, and of course Maya herself. Hoping she has all the help and support she needs. May her content work touch many hearts and minds.
Maya is legit a legend, what she is doing not only for the animals but also for the educational space is amazing
Maya and Alveus are amazing. I found Maya around 2020 and her passion for animals and rehabilitation always moved me. It has been great to see Alveus become bigger and bigger, theres so much love and care put into it, they're doing so many good things for the world. Thanks for having an episode on her house.
Thank you so much for showcasing Maya Higa. What a fascinating peek in not only what a tiny home life can look like but the incredible work this woman is doing. Just WOW, someone living their best life, saving animals from other people’s poor choices, and using her skills to try and educate the public. Nice to see a young person with vision beyond herself and a strong desire to make positive changes. What an inspiration!
Thank you for featuring Maya! What she and Alveus are doing is incredible!
You gotta appreciate Maya!! She’s really inspiring; a gal who is living her values!! Thank you for sharing, not only her great house, but also taking the time to show the sanctuary!! Love her!!! ❤❤❤
Wonderful tiny home for her and incredible sanctuary for all of her creatures! Truly amazing young woman.
Maya is genuinely such an inspiring person in the streaming community, I admire her and her passion for what she does so much
Yes she is. It’s just jarring that she dated mizkif.
Beautiful looking on the outside as well as the inside that bay window is letting so much natural light in and surrounded by animals and nature
Maya is such an inspiration to me, and im so happy more and more people are finding her content because whats shes doing is really somthing quite special
That was a really interesting video - all of it! I love her beautiful, wide tiny home, to begin with. And then the tour of the different areas of the grounds was so interesting!
What she's doing for the animals is genuinely so amazing. Absolute girlboss moment 💅 cool house also
beautiful soul, beautiful home. love it.
What’s the breed of your dog on your profile? I have a similar dog but don’t know the breed lol
So far, this is one of my most favourite tiny homes, this 25 yr. old is beyond her age wisdom wise, omgoodness. The tiny home is perfection and her life's decision to run/found and open a sanctuary for animals, for conservation and education is so impressive I'm stunned. I would move here tomorrow, she's living my dream....a tiny beautiful home surrounded by Mother Nature and Animals...what more could anyone ask for. Great Job!!!! Kudos to you!!!! I put this on my fb page immediately as I was so overwhelmed by how truly amazing your home, career and message to the world truly is....awesome!!!💞💞
This is so cool, finely somebody gets property and does something with it that makes sanes!
i really admire maya and her dedication to alveus and conservation work. i have started to try to be more low waste and be more mindful of where i get my food and clothes thanks to her streams. i really hope she’s able to reach more audience and ppl learn more about conservation
Go follow Maya and Alveus, Maya has the best animal videos...who doesnt wanna see her throw her cow Winnie a birthday party? It is probably rhe most wholesome thing on the entire internet.
Just wait until they get to the clown recorder solo 😂 that episode was so cute! I loved the full circle to Stompy’s bday getting crashed by Winni.
7:58 "That's how they like it, so that's how I like it." Wholesome Maya!
Maya is incredible at what she does, so cool to see her on here.
I thought that I recognized the Texas Hill Country ! Bless you, Maya, for rescuing all of the various animals. You're doing an awesome job!
Maya is such an incredible young woman. I've been following her various social media for a little over a year and she never ceases to amaze me with everything she does and accomplishes. The Alveus livestream is always playing on my second monitor when I'm working. This entire endeavor is so inspiring and I have hopes that she is able to continue to grow and reach more people with her vitally important message of conservation.
As an animal lover, this is so amazing to see - what a great human being!
Just donated too - every $ helps 🐮
Nice I was watching Maya when she first bought her tiny home and she had no water . Such a wonderful woman!! She has really worked hard for her sanctuary !!
Great video and great tiny house and what a great sanctuary for the animals. I’m all for what Maya is doing. Love it! Love her house and love her animal sanctuary. Thank you Maya for showing your house and the sanctuary. It’s all very nice. Love it all. And those animals are amazing. Love the parrots singing Happy Birthday and laughing. Thank you for all you do for the animals.
Beautiful home, and wonderful animal sanctuary - I’ve subscribed to Maya’s channel. Really enjoyable and educational 😊
I love Alveus so much! Thank you so much for highlighting the amazing work she does!
It's Mayo!!
Maya is such an inspiration she does incredible work at her animal sanctuary and everyone should follow and support her! It's great for learning about animals!
Was not expecting this cross-over on my feed but it’s a welcome one.
In terms of advertisement for Maya and the sactuary, this si absolutely awesome! Thank you so much for doing this video! Maya is great!
You have a lovely energy Maya. Your home is nice, the sanctuary is great and I enjoyed seeing the love and care the animals recieved. Thank you.
Maya truly deserves any spotlight she and Alveus gets!! Love her and all she does for the animals. She has such a cute tiny home !!
What an amazing young woman! Best of luck to you.❤
Always happy to see Maya getting some awareness for Alveus and her channel! She is an extremely inspiring and humble person who is truly trying to make the world a better place for us all.
Wow, its always fun when two channels or worlds that you follow (Tiny homes and Live streaming) collide!
Great episode, glad you got to spend a lot of the video talking about the sanctuary.
So excited to see Maya and Alveus Sanctuary featured !!! She's an incredible educator and has a wonderful place/team (love that people do this work and just get to be examples of dreams being lived)
I recently came across Alveus Sanctuary/Maya thanks to Julien Solomita doing a Twitch stream and I've been seeing more and more of the sanctuary since then. I saw this so excited because I adore the idea of living in a tiny home (especially on a sanctuary) & finding out its Maya makes this even better!!
Ok! I have watched 10000's of Tiny Home tours and people who have some of the most amazing jobs and adventures and I think this is my #1. It all comes together for me in this one! This young lady is epic!
What an amazing young woman. I'm very impress with her work and sanctuary. Everything seems to be very well thought and put together.
What an amazing and inspirational woman! Thank you for featuring her in so much detail in her sanctuary. Love the tiny house, but love the animals way more!!
she is such a beautiful soul inside and out. best ambassador for animals
What a fantastic segment. Aside from her lovely tiny, it’s wonderful that she runs a sanctuary and shares educational material with others. I really loved this episode!
Maya is AMAZING! I've watched her on and off for years. PLEASE consider watching her Twitch streams and also the Alveus Sanctuary's twitch streams! Just leave it on at 1% vol if youre doing something else. All ad revenue for the streams goes back to the animals.
Its so comforting to see another human being care about other creatures and our environment. Good on you..the creatures thank you
I LOVE Maya's tiny home!
She own it so not so much working but yeah its only online featuring so not publicly open to visit
Maya and the team do great work, and there's some hilarious moments with other content creators meeting the animals too - highlight for me was Peachjars crying with joy in the parrot enclosure. Great to see people getting over their fears with bugs and snakes etc too - top content!
Hasan absolutely giddy for Winnie was a good one too 😂So excited for Fuslie and Valkyraes visit this weekend!
@@melztunes Yep Fuslie and Rae will be fun!
I love the animal sanctuary. It's so cool that she can run it.
My macaw really liked her amazon. He said 'hello' when she asked her amazon to do it. My bird is another who was abandoned at a pet store probably because he was too loud.
I really love that this video was mostly focused on mayas sanctuary! Thank you guys for helping her in her mission to reach more people❤️❤️❤️
I love everything about Maya, how she lives and loves animals and nature! Her home is perfect and so awesome! And I love the animals 🥰🥰🥰!
the yard might be "overgrown" but its so pretty and full looking. i love that its a habitat for all the little creatures that might want to live there. i love maya's content and cause so much as well.
My dream is to buy land and leave it untouched so I can have nature in my back yard
@@atherisGAYf the neighbors. I hate neighborhoods like that, especially HOA's 🙄. Like, don't I own my home why can't I do what I want with it
YESSSS the algo has done it's work right and brought me to the tiny house tour 🤩🤩
I love Maya's care for every animal she encounters. From a caterpillar to a cow, she shows tenderness for every living creature. The world needs more people like her.
Bless you for taking care of these animals and teaching people! Also, I love your tiny house!
Thank you for sharing your spotlight with Maya, Alveus, and more importantly the animals. They all do great work in the world of conservation.
Such a great video!! I know caring for all of these animals is a lot of work, but she's living the dream life! I love it. Thank goodness each of these animals are part of her sanctuary. It's obvious how well taken care of each animal is.... And each of their enclosures are stunning too!! Much love 💕😊
Proud of you Maya, following and supporting you since 2020!
Great video!
I started following Maya when she began livestreaming a few years ago, she is such a great amazing person
love to see maya here!! she’s probably my absolute favorite streamer, and i could truly watch hours and hours of her content (and have) 😅
Precious young lady who has accomplished so much. Hope my son finds someone who loves nature so much
This was a brilliant episode! I’m in awe of what Maya has achieved and is doing for the animals in her care! What a wonderful passionate human, using her energy to help educate and inspire others to care for our planet and the animals we share it with. ❤❤❤❤
Maya Higa rules. Her content is awesome and very wholesome and she does a lot for the outdoors and conservation
