This video knitting tutorial will help you knit the slip, knit two, pass double decrease (sk2p). This technique is used to decrease two stitches at once and has a similar look to the slip knit pass decrease (skp).

Ack! I usually love your videos, but this one has a small but significant error, especially important for lace knitters. The first stitch should be slipped knit-wise, so that the first stitch is not left twisted when passed over.

Very clear and concise! Thank you!

I was watching different video that showed the sk2p where the slipped stitch was done purl wise. Which is correct - slip purl wise or slip knit wise. Thank you

Most patterns will specify whether you should "slip knit wise" or "slip purl wise". This one was done purl wise.
The pattern I'm working directs me to "slip 1 stitch as if to knit" for the slipped stitch.
