@@keelanbarron2547 Hi Keelan I still haven’t got round to doing as I was weighing up the situation with clean air zones coming to Manchester, but I do have my engine, I would recommend getting the asz from a Skoda fabia which has the smaller oil filter housing, sure you can get other asz engines say a golf but that has a bigger oil filter housing which will hit the radiator pack and the oil filter housings are not interchangeable, hope that helps.
I put on a passat b6 1.9 tdi arl, 1749vb turbine and 6speed fmh gearbox and I have traveled so far around 10k without problems the old engine consumes 15l oil in 15k so I decided to replace it with a rebuilt arl from 0
With this modification I see the whole u made its mot big enough to replace the crank sensor am I right? U not showing on the video how to fit the sensor

do you ever do a PD - VE hybrid? PD bottom end and VE head? I just wanna see you're way of doing this thing. I know that VE is almost a dead platform but still is way cheaper(pump/nozzles) with same power levels.
I have a Golf mk4 2.0 Petrol in brazil (here we dont have tdi from factory). and i got a MK5 1.9 TDI BKC Jetta engine and complete harness, ecu edc16, modules. how can i adapt in my car? it uses a bosch motronic 3.8.3. can i convert bkc edc16 to edc15 and follow the electrical schemes from golfs tdi atd/axr?? cause the schemes from mk5 are so differents, a lot of modules, can, etc..... which is the best way to adapt in my car without open the panel and change whole loom wiring? i think its just convert the pinout, but using a edc15... edc16 i dont know how. can i use BEW electrical scheme?

Am sure thats a asz from a skoda vrs. Cz there are 2 asz engines. Thr only difference is the oil filtre housing, they are both different to the way they bolt to the engine
I think the wiring will be ok, you will need to move over the cam sensor and the crank sensor. Also you would need to get it tuned quickly once it is all back together as it will run very rich because the ecu is tuned for 105 injectors, but you will have 130/150 injectors
Hi I have changed my engine brs to asz but oil filter touching cooling fan. Any can advice which filter housing is best ?because housing from brs doesn’t fit asz. Need small housing any recommendations will appreciated thanks
Hi mate you can’t replace for small housing the fitting is not the same Or you have to change the size on the fan or change the block (ASZ seat Ibiza or Skoda Fabia ) by the way what car you fitting the engine on ?

You need to drill and tape pd block for be idler for timing

Oil filter hausing in pd105 and asz od the same ? I do this swap now and oil filter hausing ja difrent ..
All depends with engine you have if is a ASZ from a seat Ibiza or Skoda fabia will be small housing

Its funny here in canada I have a pd100 engine version on a mk4 platform and running a edc16 from factory with the old style sensor like your pd130

oil cooler what is it from? originally the oil sensor is on the other side? 2.0 bmm converted to 1.9 ASZ DSG in touran;)

Yes you can but you need to modify the wiring loom on the car to fit your pd130 ecu
It’s easier to drill the block and fit a pd 105 crank sensor

It would have been cheaper just to change the reluctor wheel on the crank and the sensor in the block then use that rear seal that cost a fortune
