Hence they looked to each other as Rivals. Post 2010s, After the start of the IPL and Pakistan's worsening situation economically and politically, Pakistan Cricket declined while Indian Cricket skyrocketed. The Indian players became mega-millionaires and cult figures while the Pakistanis couldn't. Hence the rivalry declined cause a lot of Pakistani Players are themselves in awe of the Indian players and their cult status
