@@theduggernaut8331 There is another lift in the castle, maybe when you stand on the other one this one is 'unlocked'. I can't remember if I had to do something else to unlock the lifts.
@@Mrzmbie1 OK gotcha, yeah I've finally beat Godrick and explored the castle now, and was able to activate both lifts. I'm just clearing out this last little secret path now I found before I move on to the lake area, but these knights keep kicking my ass.

Thank you, I could NOT find the final two sites of grace, was going mad killing enemies and running out of potions. I'd just missed one door - this was so helpful and easy! I wasted about 4 hours and several sanity points, then used this guide and got to Godrick in 5 mins :-)
Here because Stormveil decimated my soul. So many deaths and having to push through enemies again and again or ultimately run through them desperately looking for Grace and not finding it. Finally got to Godrick thanks to this guide and he's kicking my ass, but he's the first boss that I'm really having fun with.

To be fair, I’m always scared of being under leveled, so I WAY over leveled, and made sure I had really good weapons and armor before I tried it. You can actually skip all the running through the castle, as soon as you get through the door the birds, look right, you can run and jump to a rooftop, from there you can roll down and you’re in the courtyard near to where Godrick is, just randomly found it now! It’s mad how many ways there are to do this game
@Tony Ragalie if you go back to the lift room and go upstairs, just outside the door there is a pile of sandbags you can walk up onto the walls, if you look down, there is a wooden scaffolding, take that around and you can roll down onto the roof tops. There are a few alternate paths up there that I have found so far. That honestly what making this place hard for me, is I'm not sure which path I'm suppose to take. But it seems most lead to the courtyard

if anyone of u has a problem with the black knight who traps you in the room: you can just leave the room and he gets stuck in the doorway, you can fight him from there but watch out for his range (magic attacks wont work btw but any melee charge attacks are very useful against him)

Was scared to death, scared to look, I was shook, I must be a half-way-crook. Found this vid and realized I was so frickin close to the end. Oh man. I hate having to resort to videos like this. And I've indeed gotten this far with very little. But this part has been killing me. Of course, the challenge that silver knight below the death birds puts up is probably a sign I need to hone my character and my own skills a little more.
Omg amazing thanks! I saw the jump shortcut but for the life of me couldn't name the jump. The birds are easy to kill and just made a straight run 🏃♀️ after lmao
@@pattipoo33 What I mean is if you skip the birds, especially the very last one that tosses a red barrel you can get an item laying on a corpse. I can't remember off hand what it was but it's there.
@@pattipoo33 make sure you’re sprinting n jump just as you leave the edge.. really simple bro I understand what you meant, heavy loads might be playing a factor though I’m not sure.
Tip: ashes of war are game changers especially ones that use specific elements (blood,lightning,fire...) make sure to grab one of those real quick before heading to battle
You can cheese the knight in the room with the chest in the beginning by getting him to go behind the door while outside of it and just attack him through, his only attack that can hit you is the wind type attack
Good vidieo, helpful. But you forgot to open the elevator shortcut that leads back to near the second checkpoint, near the birds that carry exploding barrels. That's essential information for anyone playing the game. It's pretty close to the spider miniboss.

If you take the lift at the second to last grace you will not face enemies, its easier to take this route. You can also find an Ash of War here.

Rock sling worked though, that's how I was able to beat him but I think it's one of the only sorceries that make physical damage so that could be why

Yes thank you this is a tough area so many hard fights and I could never find the way out of the first castle
you can skip tthe birds by going right from the Rampart Tower grace and off the wall. You can then drop down and skip the knight and guard altogether.

A small tip: When fighting rusty key boss you can cheese him by walking out the room and hitting him from the doorway
