Pay attention to they're sprites when it's your turn. If Susie Looks more angry and Noelle looks depressed make them defend. In a recent update they will not perform attacks and attack spells when they look like that but will perform Healing spells and Items just fine.

Paula in the first phase heals all the damage you deal to her after your turn, forcing you to kill Ness first. I dealt 400+ damage with the best possible set of attacks and she shrugged it off with her heal. Also, if you attempt to kill her while her guard is down, Ness will dive in front of her and take the hit, ensuring Paula never dies prematurely.
@@GeminiMayhem Fun fact: If you do insta-kill Paula while Ness is still alive (by modding her defense to -9999 and attacking her, for example) the game just throws an exception, basically crashing it.
I came to this video. Not to try to no hit it myself. But to at least learn the motions to dodge better so that way after over 5 hours of game time i can beat it lol. Im good with the ness part now. I can get through without healing items and just the occasional dusl heal or heal prayer. Its phase two that's really hard lol. And i wind up going through all of my healing items before paula even loses a quarter of health. Any weapon that i should go back and try to get? My kris has a bat. Should i replay and get the toy knife instead or something?
I like this battle but, technically this battle is wrong because 1. Ness can use Pk Life Up to cure him and Paula doesn't have this Pk move 2. In the battle he can use Pk Rockin (Pk favorite thing) and that attack makes to much damage and nobody can scape from this attack (And the first Pk Rockin makes 100 of damage) 3. Paula can use Pk Freeze and freeze you (Duh) 4. Ness can use Pk Flash to make Cry, Feel strange or Kill Kris, Susie and Noelle
1. Ness uses life up on Paula 2. Keep in mind that this is an undertale battle, so impossible to dodge attacks don’t exist (with some exceptions) 3. What do you think the ice cubes are? 4. Same reasoning as 2

I think it’s whenever Susie is showing her teeth is when she’ll disobey
For Ness, they are guaranteed to not attack at low hp. On solo Paula, it’s rng. 1/8 for Noelle, 1/5 for Susie.
