I absolutely love the idea of manipulating Toriel by putting Kris in a life-threatening situation. You essentially put her parental instincts into overdrive by convincing her the world is evil, so that when the final boss comes in, and attempts to slaughter the true demon they thought was behind it all, your new weapon instantly comes to your aid, ready to incinerate this last evil.
Those strings on Toriel make me really uncomfortable. Makes me feel they're manipulating her anger to drown out her voice of reason. Or something like that.
I like how this contrasts with your Main route video. In the Main route, Rosey is a Honourable warrior out for revenge against those who betrayed her: With strong Parallels to Undyne. In this video… Rosey is just angry and disappointed. This was supposed to be her big moment, her Best Finale! yet instead she’s playing defence against a killer. Unlike Undyne in Undertale, instead of holding a last stand against the Genocide, Rosey is just half heatedly trying, she knows it’s futile I really like this secret boss concept. I would love more of them/Yoir chapter 3!
I absolutely adored this version! Feels very much like a real snowgrave battle, the dialogue is certainly on point, I'd argue it even is better than that first video you posted. Omega Flowey's design is just awesome.
This is absolutely one of the best fanmade songs. It doesn’t just mash a bunch of leitmotifs together without any regard for the sound of the music. It sounds new and creative, without overusing existing music! This is awesome, amazing job!

In the regular route she'd ease up on him, but in the weird route, she'd despise him even more. Good job as always. This was definitely worth the wait.

It would be more interesting if in the pacifist route she decides to be more clear to him that she doesnt like he doing this in a more polite manner, but in the neutral route where you beat the boss by attacking it she becomes just angrier at him, and then on the weird route she just goes in pure hatred mode towards him.

Woah. I’ve seen the thumbnail for this video a lot. Today I clicked on it. The integration of the freedom motif was stunning. It came in so late in the song that I had nearly forgotten about it, and that made the surprise of hearing it even better. The loop in the middle of the video to switch to Japanese was also super cool.
What an amazing concept! I have a theory that Spamton obtained the *Thorn* Ring from Chapter 3's dark world - and that it's connected to the flower darkner(s) we might encounter in that world.

Like how Seam is aware of Spamton or how Spamton and Jevil know each other despite having never met in-game and being from different dark worlds. These worlds each have long histories from king before the fountain was opened. The way I see it is that opening a fountain just grants access to a dark world rather than straight up creating one

I’d crafted an elaborate daydream around “Battle Against a Forgotten Princess”, where it was the boss theme for three Sentai monsters called the “Dark Headders”. They served a main villain with a “dark angel” motif… and this theme would fit his last phase _beautifully._
(Assuming this is either a fanmade secret boss) I love how The World Revolving comes back into the theme, bringing back the text, "The air crackles with freedom." Maybe every secret boss will have parts of The World Revolving and have a focus or theme of freedom, but in different ways, like, Jevil believed he was free, despite literally being imprisoned, and Spamton sent you on a quest in order for him to achieve freedom, but who knows?

The fact that you'd probably have to constantly down Kris to do this route to convince toriel that they're completely innocent and helpless and are being targeted by the evil in the dark world. And little does she know she's just another asset to you, she's just being used like Noelle was, you can fully defend yourself, you know how to use mercy, but you're bored of that, You can't get stronger You can't fully exterminate anyone But she can. Very, very easily. So you just let mother get her hands dusty too, *And watch her do the work for you*
I love how you use the freedom motif but change it up a little to fit the feel of the battle more. A lot of covers just use the exact same melody as the freedom motif in BIG SHOT which is good but I think Toby is likely going to change it slightly between each chapter (think about how different the motif sounds between The World Revolving and BIG SHOT) which makes this feel like something we could actually see in Chapter 3

My only gripe with a lot of Weird Route fan stuff is the overuse of puppet strings. Kris is metaphorically pulling the strings while Spamtom was physically on strings.
The chapters seem to be Undertale in reverse so far. The Card Kingdom was New Home, with the King being what the game and Toriel made you think Asgore was gonna be like, and Jevil is similar to Sans. Chapter 2’s Cyber City resembles the Core, with both the Queen and Spamton bringing Mettaton to mind. With that in mind, the next chapter may be the True Lab where Flowey was born. Get prepared for a possible new best friend, folks.

a interesting twist of this Battle would be if, Rosie and the Omega Flowey Dragon didn't even try to attack Toriel through the fight, instead, attacking the *red strings* above her. A reverse on the Spamton Neo pacifist battle, the player is waiting for Toriel to burn down Rosey and Omega Flowey Dragon before they succeed in breaking the strings on Toriel/destroy the Soul itself. And it's the Soul's job to protect the *Strings* and *itself*. the damage inflicted still going to Kris's incapacitated body and not Toriel herself. this ensures the battle can't be stalled till Kris gets back to positive HP, Toriel will have burned the two down well before that on her own, or the heroine and her dragon will have broken all the strings well before that point. All the red strings getting broken causing Toriel to pass out to 0 hp, leaving both her and Kris unable to protect the soul, so the Soul get's shattered by Rosie in a unique game over.
Im vehemently against the idea of toby stooping to just making chapter 3's genocide route snowgrave 2, as he is one for subverting expectations, but I can't ignore the raw talent in this.
I can see an aditional challenge in this figth you need to overcome in order for Toriel to use Hellflame: Rosey will actually attempt to heal Kris during the whole battle, in an attempt to make Toriel reconsider her actions. A callback to Flowey's tutorial in undertale, only this time the friendliness petals are.. well.. friendliness petals. So during the battle Rosey and the Omega Floweys will ocaccionally will target Kris in an attempt to heal him up. If they manage to do so, the hellflame route is aborted as Toriel will simply calm down and the figth will resume as normal with Kris. Dodging the friendliness petals and keeping Kris down during the whole battle then will allow Toriel to learn and cast Hellflame. I dunno I can see it working.
After defeating violently: Thorns of Agony: + 6 DEF + 3 ATK Senses the pain of its bearer and lashes out at the world around them. When taking damage, sprout thorny vines that damage nearby foes.
After seeing this video, probably toby could bring flowey as a darkner if the flowers in the trash can of toriel's house has something to do with the plot, or even if there is a dark fountain in asgore's flower shop
Imagine the Snowgrave is called something like “regicide”, because Asgore is the Bergentruckung (“Mountain King” in German), as well as you fighting a princess.

a interesting twist of this Battle would be if, Rosie and the Omega Flowey Dragon didn't even try to attack Toriel through the fight, instead, attacking the *red strings* above her. A reverse on the Spamton Neo pacifist battle, the player is waiting for Toriel to burn down Rosey and Omega Flowey Dragon before they succeed in breaking the strings on Toriel/destroy the Soul itself.
And it's the Soul's job to protect the *Strings* and *itself*. the damage inflicted still going to Kris's incapacitated body and not Toriel herself. this ensures the battle can't be stalled till Kris gets back to positive HP, Toriel will have burned the two down well before that on her own, or the heroine and her dragon will have broken all the strings well before that point.
All the red strings getting broken causing Toriel to pass out to 0 hp, leaving both her and Kris unable to protect the soul, so the Soul get's shattered by Rosie in a unique game over.

Im vehemently against the idea of toby stooping to just making chapter 3's genocide route snowgrave 2, as he is one for subverting expectations, but I can't ignore the raw talent in this.

I can see an aditional challenge in this figth you need to overcome in order for Toriel to use Hellflame:
Rosey will actually attempt to heal Kris during the whole battle, in an attempt to make Toriel reconsider her actions. A callback to Flowey's tutorial in undertale, only this time the friendliness petals are.. well.. friendliness petals.
So during the battle Rosey and the Omega Floweys will ocaccionally will target Kris in an attempt to heal him up. If they manage to do so, the hellflame route is aborted as Toriel will simply calm down and the figth will resume as normal with Kris.
Dodging the friendliness petals and keeping Kris down during the whole battle then will allow Toriel to learn and cast Hellflame.
I dunno I can see it working.

Senses the pain of its bearer and lashes out at the world around them.
When taking damage, sprout thorny vines that damage nearby foes.

After seeing this video, probably toby could bring flowey as a darkner if the flowers in the trash can of toriel's house has something to do with the plot, or even if there is a dark fountain in asgore's flower shop

Imagine the Snowgrave is called something like “regicide”, because Asgore is the Bergentruckung (“Mountain King” in German), as well as you fighting a princess.
