Hi Harstem, another lesson from the first game is the placement of your first cybercore in your opponent's natural. If it was 1 tile to the right it would have blocked the opponent's expansion probably delaying it for at least another 20 seconds.
I think the reason he placed it there is if he needs to do a contain he needs the space on the left for the batteries/cannons and he needs them placed slightly to the left. Also you meant to say left and not right tile.
I'd be curious with your first few games timing if you could creep your cannons towards ramp(or setup slightly closer to) and cripple his production rather than just hoping for gas probes to walk in range. On a lucky placement maybe you get the cyber core and delay/block tech.
"why is this assimilator so darn attractive to these cannons?" Photon cannons are just like that. Don't kinkshame them. I know a photon cannon on furaffinity who's also into assimilation stuff.
First game: consider prioritizing depowering the other player's gateways rather than being in range of the nexus/mineral line. A pylon or two goes down surprisingly fast, and if they only have one or two stalkers, you can snowball in a way you can't with three stalkers out & more on the way. Second game I had the same thought. I would put your second cannon much farther to the right, still in range of the nexus, but able to hit the enemy's pylon powering his gateway. The fast zealot also has something to do - hit that pylon - rather than chase probes. Re-powering the gateways forces them to bring probes into range of your cannon/zealot anyway. Could also be good for youtube even if you consider it worse over all, because you could get some kills straight off the cannon rush, rather than always having to tech into something else.
saw max pax, cheese dark, this cheese can work at the highest lvls. you pretend to go for a glaved adept all in vs zerg, but cut off adept production and keep macroing behind the adept push and try and provoke a roach /raveger all in from the zerg. once you scout the roach warren, throw down a star gate and make a couple oracles and void rays. if you hold the roach push you get an easy win, you just really have to sell the glave timing push.
16:18 It's so ironic how Harstem started that last game saying "one of the most important things with proxy robo is its location", and then later on, the location lost him the game :D
@20:02 is it possible to use the cover of the vents to go on their left side and pick up the immortal or the prism would still be seen from the other side of the vents? I think he could've taken even 2 volleys and ran away with the immortal and the prism.
The immortal getting stuck was brilliant... I got 2 disruptors stuck in the same way recently.
I got an adept stuck the same way, except my adept was rallied to the outside area.... fun times

How about a disruptor rush next? :)

I love these insight intros you're making, keep it up, your vids are always perfect to relax!
That immortal parking spot 😂
This is peak clickbait, using words that sound like pro gamers LOL
@17:37 just casually building your proxy immortal at 2m48s with 5 minerals and 2 gas left over...

Send fake oracle's untill he stops responding and then send real one. Similar to the fake nuke trick
You once did fake nuke videos, so I just thoght - illusion of prism xD
I got even more crazy innovation! You need to try my secret macro masterpiece!
Did that first game actually happen?

I love these. Than you!
Shouldn't have cancelled the second cannon/first cannon on the high ground. No?
The overview at the start is really nice addition. Makes me more excited to watch 😄
1 hour gang
Thank you Harstem for keeping track of the gg-ratio
Is there any way to cheese with a macro build? Like some proxy nexus stuff, or is it just early game all ins?
See his “Greediest Man Alive” games. Thats what macro cheese looks like.
