CHANA METHI/FENUGREEK MASALA SUKKA. Healthy anyone can prepare it easily. Eat it with Rice, Roti or Neer Dosas. *Ingredients: *1cup Black Chana *2 bundles Methi leaves *1tsp Mustard seeds *1/2tsp Cumin/Jeera *Few Curry leaves *2nos Green chillies chopped *1/2" Ginger finely chopped *10-12 Garlic Cloves chopped *1/2tsp Turmeric powder *1tsp Coriander cumin powder *2-3tsp Sambara Pitto or 2tsp Bafath powder *1/2tsp Hing/ Asafoetida *2nos big Onions chopped or 12-15 small sambar Onions *3nos Tomatoes chopped *Salt to taste *2tbsp Cooking Oil or as required *1/4cup Coriander leaves *Small piece Jaggery/ optional *Method: 1.Soak Black Chanas overnight or for 6-8hrs. Pressure cook it with sufficient water & salt to taste for 4-5 whistles, set aside. 2. Clean Methi/Fenugreek leaves nicely & keep aside. 3. In a Pan heat sufficient cooking oil, I used Coconut oil. Add Mustard seeds Cumin seeds let it splutter add Curry leaves add chopped Green chillies, finely chopped Ginger & Garlic saute. Add chopped Onions cook it 2minutes. Add Turmeric powder, Coriander cumin powder, Sambara Pitto or Bafath masala mix it well add hing, add chopped Tomatoes & cook it till soft. 4. Add Methi/Fenugreek leaves mix well add salt to taste, cover lid & cook it for 3mins on slow flame. Add cooked black Chanas check salt mix it well cover lid & cook it for 5mins on slow flame. Garnish with Coriander leaves. 5. Serve it with Rice, Roti, Chspathi or Neer Dosas. Prepare it & enjoy it with family and friends.
