- Join us as we spend the day at Movie Park Germany and check out the new for 2017 Star Trek: Operation Enterprise. The parks brand new Mack Megacoaster opened in June 2017 and features 3 inversions, a 98ft tall top hat and a 131ft vertical spike! Along with sharing our full review and on ride footage from Star Trek, we also ride on the other major attractions at the park.
Movie Park Germany is also home to a scare attraction themed to AMC The Walking Dead and in this vlog we share our full review of the attraction. We also share a food review, watch the awesome Crazy Cops Of New York stunt show and much more as we enjoy a day out at this awesome theme park in Germany.

Mystery River used to make sense when it was themed to Neverending Story. They had to get rid of it and now it's just random Mystery theming thrown together
I noticed Falkor finally, he's up in the turntable part and the original Neverending Story snail used to be hiding behind a rock, but now they've moved it.
For me the park was way better when it was 'Warner Brothers Movieworld back in the day. With the Gotham/Batman and Looney Tunes theming. Still have some awesome merchandise from 20 years ago.

The wooden boards in the queueline of Mystery River used to be all rockwork when it was Never Ending Story back in the good old days. Now THAT was an awesome ride!
If you fell in love with this park now, you would have been married to it when it used to be WB movie world. I miss it :(
Shawn saying "awkward silence in the gift shop" makes me laugh every time. It's such a British thing to say 😂
That stunt show was awesome! LMA (what we called Lights, Motors, Action over here in the US) was long but it went really in depth about the process of filming action scenes. So the show was longer with less action but the behind the scenes aspect was cool!!

I've never been to Movie Park, but I have an old brochure from 15 years ago, when it was still called Warner Bros Movie World (and when Lethal Weapon Pursuit, the dueling coaster, was still open). It looks like Mistery River used to be themed to The Neverending Story, which would explain the weird scenery.

I love seeing people from England and such visiting my home park! Maybe if you guys would do another tour next year, you should come to Movie Park again? We have Excalibur now, (not sure if you were there in 2018) and area 51! In my opinion, both are a very great improvements to their old counterparts :)

Theme Park Worldwide the park was amazing. Absolutely love the Krake and Flug der Dämonen
One tip about simulators is if you want to move and be jostled about sit in the corner of the ride capsule but if you want a more gentler ride sit in the middle.
I'm not even joking, a one day pass with a Fastpass at Universal Hollywood costs as much as a three day two park Disneyland ticket.
Yes finally the Europe trip 2017 starts. Can't wait (of course) for the Efteling vlog. I am guessing a week? I prob see myself in your vlog as i "stalked" you guys for a lill bit..Hihi.

Love the video guys!! I'm dying to go there to see the parade song in person! I'm the singer on it :p It's by far one of my most favorite projects that I've gotten a chance to be involved in. The last time I was in the area though it was the ONLY day it wasn't playing :( :( The parade was shut down for Halloween preparations :/ I loved seeing all the footage with it blasting through the speakers

The theming in this park was way better when it was warner brothers movie world. Bandit was based on the movie the wild wild west, the stunt show on police academy, mystery river on the never ending story, alien encounter on bermuda triangle, time chasers on batman etc etc and i loved the dualing coaster lethal weapon. The theming on already based atractions are pretty weird now but still ok i think. Greet vlog shawn cant wait for the second one.

I've just arrived in Gothenburg to visit Liseberg for the first time, it opens in two hours, I cannot wait!!

There used to be a Bermuda Triangle ride at Sea World in Australia, I had no idea Germany had one almost exactly the same still operating.
The mystery river ride used to be the Neverending story ride when it used to be the Warner Brothers park. So most of the theming is based around that film

The queue in the 'Mystery river' was very clear to me the first time i went to it. Those ever growing books are there to make you feel like youre getting smaller and that bear is not huge its normal youre just "small".

@Theme Park Worldwide Maybe i can shed some light on the theming of Mystery River: It used to be based on The NeverEnding Story - however after the park was sold a couple of times it was re-imagined and kinda got a generic mystery theme. They removed some animatronics and theming but left some bits in. I think that ride deserves a proper retheming. Anyway - nice Vlog!

They certainly do have a great selection of shows and attractions here. The Star Trek coaster looks decent as do the water rides. I wonder what they will do with the now disused Ice Age ride?

I really enjoyed this Vlog! I recommend to visit the Ice Age 4D cinema to everyone. The Movie Park always tries hard to present you new short films every year and the current one is really funny. The voices are in English but you have German subtitles. Also, it is not very story-based and thus the most parts are filled with funny scenes instead of dialogues. Nice Greetings from Germany :3

If you guys get to Gröna Lund in Sweden Stockholm the park is close in the weekends but open at the normal days in the week :D

Thought you'd find it interested to hear the history about Mystery River. Warner Bros. built the Rapids called "The Never-ending Story" which is built on the movie from the 80s which was had huge success in Germany. Warner Bros then sold the park to Six Flags who operated it until 2004, but they still had Warner licenses. When the park was again sold in 2005 the license was dropped and little changes were made to the rapid, however not many - so it's still pretty much based on the Movie "The Never ending Story". You may want to watch it to understand the storyline of the ride better.

You should visit the Halloween Event in Movie Park, this is really good, best time of the year in the park.

I don't know if you've been or not but you must give Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio a visit. Millennium Force, Top Thrill Dragster, Valraven, Maverick, plus many other record breaking coasters.
2018 brings Steel Vengeance, a RMC hybrid. According to CP it will be the world's tallest, longest and fastest Hybrid coaster in the world. 4 inversions with tons of airtime. Top speed of 72MPH.
You would all have a blast!!

I would say a Mack Megacoaster with very heavy theming similar to Klugheim at Phantasialand!

Awesome. Why don't every park with Nick stuff get a Loud House ride? The Loud House is supposed to be a mega franchise. It deserves some merchandise and theme park rides.

Something like a Star Trek ride should be a dark ride. That coaster would have been a lot better in the dark.

Gerslauer coasters may not be the best quality but the theming always is
I have to laugh. All of you standing outside that closed park entrance makes me think of the crowd eagerly waiting to see Willy Wonka emerge from the chocolate factory. "What kind of funhouse you running here, Wonka?"

When your in bobbejaanland dont be amazed but please dont be harsh on Revolution the coaster self isnt fantastic but the ride experience en the story en scenery is just amazing!!! there is nothing like it and thats why its a great ride. give it a few rides and its a great coaster

I remember when the Crazy Cops show was still the Police Academy show. Did they keep the big explosion on top of / right behind the buildings or has that been removed? I can recall seeing this big ball of fire appearing every once a while whilst walking through the park.
Also the Mystery River used to be the Never Ending Story ride, and the Ice Age one used to be all about the Looney Toons. Then again, that was all back when it was still Warner Brothers Movie World.
