- Join us as we spend a day at Liseberg amusement park located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Home to a fantastic variety of rides such as Helix, Balder and many more, we enjoy a day at one of our favourite theme parks in Europe. We also share plenty of on ride footage from various attractions at the park along with checking out the many changes made since our last visit.

Haha Lisebergbanan took me by surprise. we all have rides we unexpectedly love, and lisebergbanan is it for me. I love the restaurant underneath the station, the intensity, the interaction, the drops, the station, the capacity and the views- it makes my top 10! I love it almost as much as helix!
Helix is my #1 coaster! I love it to bits, I am riding Shambhala later this year and am a bit worried that it will beat the amazing Helix! I have ridden Taron, Blue Fire and Wodan that are all contenders but none of them have beaten Helix. What a coaster.

I'm so happy to have found the Theme Park Worldwide RUclips channel. I love the fact that the theme park coverage is so comprehensive, you can view the everyday operations of the park, instead of just a whole park review in a quick couple of minutes. I also enjoy people watching in the video haha. Plus Shawn and Martin are just top-notch guys who are genuine and excited to be there. I loved Liseberg when I went in 2013, dying to go back again :D Thanks for the videos Shawn :)

Martin is my absolute favourite guest vlogstar. He always offers a knowledgeable, first-hand opinion that is eloquent and truthful. He actually has an opinion, rather than saying 'it's alright', (not naming any names : P). He was ill and still managed to finish the vlog with a smile on his face and a overal review. Go Martin! Wow, the audio in that darkride is exactly the same as Droomvlucht (Dreamflight) in the Efteling. What a nockoff!
Yep, I noticed that. It is literally the soundtrack of Droomvlucht. Hopefully the Efteling is ok with this haha
Tim van Ierland sadly Efteling can't do anything about it. They don't have copyright on lots of the music playing in the park. They got into a fight with the musicproducer.

Really? Ruud Bos? I did not know about this, but did wonder why Bos did not do any of the recent music themes! My knowledge is very limited though heh
As Shawn said, it was difficult to hear the soundtrack but I definately recognized it as well, so sad that they rip off music while the rest of the rides have great original audio!

Fun fact: Each year on Balder, one of the trains is actully faster then the other, last year it was the blue train. It's only 0,5 seconds but...

Fun fact: the audio used in the dark ride @55.30 is the music from Droomvlucht in the Efteling. It's composed by Ruud Bos for Droomvlucht exclusively but Liseberg have used it for quite a while now. Efteling doesn't seem to care though, especially now since the dark ride in Liseberg is closing.

Helix in the dark is indeed really fun...just don't do it in the freezing rain like I did last October. SO icy cold!
Hopefully more people will head out and explore, it's a great park!

I got a ride on Loke, and maybe it was just me, but I genuinely found it one of the most intense flats ever! Very impressive, and far superior to maelstrom in my opinion!

Liseberg certainly looks like they are continuing to improve the park offering. Hopefully Loke will be open soon and the new dive coaster will be amazing.

The teacups on the tree in the kids area looks exactly like the one at Toverland
Bring Martin to Hansa park and show him what some good Gerstlauer's are.
I strongly dislike Gerstlauer but Karnan is just top class and Novgorod as well as the Gerstlauer Family coaster are also great!
LDN Gigs Gerstlauer is one of my fave manufactures with Mack and Intamin, Hansa park is such a great park. Kärnan is my fave coaster I've ridden above Helix and Taron. Gerstlauer's newest rides are so good, really hope riding Junker and Karacho one day.
Jonkoman ! I hated Karacho. The only good things are it's first inversion and it's launch IMO. That final dive loop is horrible, because you spin around the track. This makes it just stupidly intense.
I might be a little biased, because I had a bad day. There also only were around 300 people in the park and they refused to let you ride the coaster with less than 5 people, so we had to wait hours for it to fill up. I was really, really dissappointed with Tripsdrill. We left early, which was a shame, because we came all the way from holland. I do hope you'll enjoy it more than I did though! ;)
joel pardaan Yea, I'm also from Holland and the only bad day on a park I visitted was in Alton Towers. I think Tripsdrill is a great park, but as you say if theres like no people in the park then the park can be really dissapointing. In Alton Towers there were like no people because of the Smiler accident, yet more people than you had in Tripsdrill. The ride operations weren't bad, but the park closed 1 hour earlier because there weren't as many as visitors as expected.
Jonkoman ! Tripsdrill is interresting indeed though. They also gave me and me friend whine to try out and other things like that haha... It's not your normal "themepark" at all! I've not yet visit Alton Towers sadly, so I don't have an opinion about that. In a few years probably :)

Rather take a ride on Helix than any of the mega coasters in the U.S. The Lisebergbanon was pretty cool how they utilized the landscape to make an exciting coaster.

That naked guy in the darkride was probably the fairytale 'Emperor's new clothes' the Efteling has a scene of it in the Fairytale Forest as well.

Did you know that in the dark ride: Sagoslottet have the same music as Dreamflight from the Efteling
I must say Aerospin typically gets 50-60 min queues :O did last year.
You probebly won't read this, but a little bit of information about "sagoslottet". The stories inside is classic stories mostly from northern europe and not a disney rip off. The naked dude is from a story called "The emperors new clothing" Then you also should think about the fact it is for kids and not put so high standard, I can say that for a fact that when I was little it was magical.

You guys should save some money and get to Ceder Point. It's probably top 10 by the worlds best theme parks - and Milennium Force has been a top 10 rollercoasters for alot of years in a row. A park truly worth the money and the visit. May not have the best theming but then theres the quite new and VERY smooth Valravn.
Forenix GD Shawn's said he intends to go to Cedar Point in the future, so we'll see! Maverick, Millennium Force, TTD and the soon-to-be RMC Mean Streak make it a must do if possible, I agree!

Thorpe Park should get Zierer Star Shape. I love interesting flat rides and iv never ridden a Star Shape. I hope Merlin get some new flat rides soon especially in the UK.
