Wow congrats! You got the exact one I have been thinking of getting. Performance. I am also currently in upstate New York. I like the rosewood red also, but very hard to find that. Cool to see it driven in snow. I would love to see how that is even w those tires. People are generally so scared to drive in poor conditions, but I have driven, and ridden almost every kind of vehicle in all sorts of weather and conditions on and off road, so, I would not be fearful. Good luck with it and break it in slow and proper!
@@andrewSUN17 it’s handled the snow pretty good with the new tires I put on! If the roads have been cleared I have no worries taking it out (except for when I have to go into parking lots).
@@Mr_Kristofer Good to know! I have no fear and think it would be fun, just be wary of all the unskilled drivers...and that's what I do in all conditions anyway. I drive around them and stay away from them, lol! Enjoy! Keep us updated. Hope it breaks in smoothly for you!
@ That's such a long time! My responsible side says, yes of course, I agree and that's financially better to wait, but my normal side says i gotta find it now or else I'll feel like I miss out! haha
The insurance cost increase is what's really holding me back from getting one of these. Whether that be this car or the Honda GR86. I really want one but man a near doubling of insurance cost I couldn't handle. Maybe I could dramatically reduce my coverage but man I really don't want to do that. Seen people get really messed up financially for not having enough coverage.
@@nighthawk2174 yeah you don’t want to cheap out on insurance incase something happens. The GR86 is an awesome car too though. If the insurance is crazy for you right now I’d just hold off honestly until you’re in a position that its comfortable
Dumb question here...I'm from Houston moving to western New York. Do most people in snowy states drive AWD vehicles? And if they don't have AWD (like my older Ford Taurus), are they still able to get around ok?
@@RonaldJones-zm7te AWD is definitely nicer to have during winter but FWD/RWD cars are just fine with proper tires and common sense. I swapped the Z’s tires asap and it’s just fine in light snow/slush. Heavy snow I’ll take my truck just to be safe but I see plenty of people of cars still out just fine
AWD is just peace of mind I would say they are better in the particularly bad stuff and especially in hilly areas. I'm from CO up in the foothills and yes AWD in the winter is a big deal here. Driving my subaru is no big deal, my dad's 2wd 2000 chevy well.... But in NY if your a half way decent driver with good tires and you're not being stupid their more than adequate.
Nissan won't go away outright especially with Honda expressing interest in buying at least part of the company. Their still popular enough that with some reshuffling and cutbacks they'll survive.

Nice. You beat my price lol. September, I paid 45900 plus tax . Same car but have the red black interior. Love it so far . Enjoy it 🎉
@@OneTwistedmonkey haha that’s still a good deal! I wanted the red/black interior but it wasn’t worth the thousands more other dealers were asking

Congrats on the new Z! I'm hoping to get a serian blue Performance Z with blue interior with a relatively low price

What happens to your car and warranty when Nissan goes out of business soon?
@@Praenuntium I don’t think that’s a problem I have to worry about anytime soon 👀
@Mr_Kristofer You've heard of them potentially merging with Honda?

@@TomTubeFrancia 55k MSRP for the car. Got dealer down to 46k (9k off) plus another 3k off from rebates (12k off total).
