Thank you, I appreciate the positive comment. I’d like to see what you built. I love welding myself. It just takes practice, but it does help a lot that you like welding. 👍👍👍

Yes, good point, but its big enough where airflow is not a problem and neither is cleaning. Small hand brush and dust pan work just fine. thank you for watching and your feedback.
Thank you for watching. The process is GMAW, commonly know as Mig. I’m using a solid wire electrode with a 75%Argon -25%Carbon Dioxide gas mixture. With this same process, you can use a flux-cored wire that is self shielding and doesn’t require the gas mixture.
This is awesome craftsmanship. But, I don't ever see a ground clamp when you are welding. I like how you tack everything with a torpedo level and then finish welding. I use an Old Lincoln "Tombstone" stick welder at my shop at home.
Nicely built but one fundamental flaw. You need to have an air intake at the bottom of the barrel under the coals to cause a draught to keep the fire going. Easy to amend.
Spray it with a good degreaser, hit it with a wire brush, then give it good wash with dish detergent/soap. Spray it with canola oil or whatever you prefer and cook it for about 40 minutes or so. You can do this on the grill itself or in the oven. Thats how I clean mine. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching.
