I’m SO jealous of the clear window. Love that Ronnie buffs the floor. That epitomizes how he treats his shop and all of his projects. It’s a beautiful place and a fun experience if you get the chance.
So.....if irc on last week's video (part 1) you said that the total cost and / or breakdown of this "Dream Build" would be revealed . I carefully watched this whole EXCELLENT PRESENTATION but .....no cost/breakdown. Please reveal the total cost and or breakdown for our enquiring minds.....we would ALL surely appreciate it. Thank you.........again.
They literally got everything for FREE! How can they breakdown the cost? They admitted last week that Battle Born and Victron sent them free stuff plus I'm sure Ronnie gave them a free install for publicity. I think KYD is great, but they have NO IDEA how much things actually cost because they haven't paid for anything in years!
They can list the retail costs in a price breakdown. Who cares if they get it for free or if they barter goods and services for free advertising. It’s a perk they get because they have created an excellent RUclips channel.
I think the Erpods look bigger in an Airstream because of the reflection on the ceiling. They remind me of little Star Wars droids poking their heads out. 😄
6:00 As an RV tech, when he mentioned a 12v DC to 110v AC relay, I immediately thought of the water heater element relay. It’s always enjoyable when a seemingly difficult problem has a simple solution sitting right in front of you!
Just love following you all and the interesting things you do to your RV. But honestly you’ve all moved on to another level of RVing that most of us average RVers will never see or can relate to. But we have grown to love you all ,your family, and friends. And that’s what keeps us watching. It’s not so much the RV’ing as it is the really great human beings you all are. Thank you. The world needs more people like you all.
I love watching Ronnie work. He’s got the right tool for every job. I would’ve liked to have a shop and tools like his when I did my renovation. I basically did my renovation in my driveway with a drill and a skill saw!
Great episode! I waited all week for the ending of this episode and wasn't disappointed! Again, GREAT EPISODE! Thank you KYD, special thanks to Ronnie! A man who knows his stuff!
This was really a very interesting and informative video. Ronnie is a wizard on Airstreams and his attention to detail shows. What a great couple of episodes. Now, lets go out and test the system!
Ronnie is amazing. He would be awesome to work with and learn from. I was in the RV industry for 20 years (in sales and management) and he is so knowledgeable.
That was such a great installation, and absolutely fascinating to watch. Ronnie is a human who just happens to also be a well-oiled machine. That man is fluid and concise in his motions; no wasted time that I could see - and WOW - what an end product. Nicely done!!!
Great content and it showcases the many products that are available to consumers as well as Airstream Nuts and Bolts and his ability to do a proper install of these products. I come from a back packers mentality of less is more and simplicity reigns supreme and now that we stream along, I find myself wanting more outside time and less inside time. Airstream appealed to me because of its simplicity with no slide outs, no generators and no fussy electronics to fiddle with. For folks like me this is too much but for others, this is a great example of how to do it right. Thanks again for a great episode and wishing you safe travels together.
We do not have a travel trailer but it is impressive to watch the meticulous quality of Ronnie’s work performing the upgrades, mods, and installs. Congratulations on the improvements to the Airstream.
Those flamingos are so cute. My family "ducked" me this Easter at our family gathering with 222 hidden ducks all throughout my house. As of today I still have 40 left to find. Each one is a token of love.
Ronnie really did a bang-up job! Kudos! All the modifications are really nice! I'm currently sitting here in my 2005 28' Classic at a Campground just south of Yellowstone with very few modifications accept those I installed myself (New kitchen faucet, StarLink and an Easy Start on the AC). All works well for me, but I still like looking at all the candy through the window in the candy store! Happy trails guys! Keep the videos coming!
Ronnie has the right tool for everything! The floor polisher is the ticket. He’s got a good sense of humor too! Those aircraft air vents looks like they will actually help you feel the air compared to what was there. Ok, see ya next Sunday 😇😇
Great job Ronny!! He is amazing. The quality of his work is incredible. Hope you enjoy your Airstream now that Ronny has performed his magic. See you all next week. Safe travels ❤
I'll give it to you. It was 100% free to them! They admitted that all the products were given to them for free and I'm sure Ronnie's service was also free so he could get the publicity. KYD hasn't paid for anything in years!
Hey Marc, forget about your fancy, new Airstream... I wanna hear more about that floor sweeper, scrubber, buffer, polisher Ronnie was piloting at the end of the video!!! 🧼 👍 😉
I have always dreamed of changing out our airstream’s frosted door window. Would love more details on that for us DIYers. Info like…where did you order the tinted window from, installment tips, and did you also install a privacy shade…or maybe you have found that unnecessary. Love all the great mod ideas. Keep it up, and…thanks!
I have an OEM deal with Paragon. You can’t buy the glass direct. I can sell you a piece aftermarket, but this project would be a pretty advanced DIY project.
just my opinion here but Pat Goss already said that mechanic shops of good mechanics are always really clean, and he must be great because his shop is super clean. He talks with so much common sense solutions and seems to be worth the money.
Wow! So amazing! I have been watching since the first episode! You have really inspired me and our 5 (soon to be 6) kids to get out and explore. I see an airstream in our future.
Thank you for sharing these 2 videos. I don’t have an Airstream, however I really appreciate how Ronnie gave the why for some changes without being prompted. Thank you for the extra education!!
Thanks to you four people, I had a very good time and it was very instructive since we are shopping for a small class A. I’m very happy that you are now very well equipped like that.
Great episode and Ronnie is so knowledgeable in so many areas! However you promised that you would discuss the cost of the upgrades (to the average owner). Please do so. Thanks!
Yeah, they get provided with everything for free, including installation, and then try to pretend that their renovations are affordable. This channel has become completely unrealistic for most RVers.
I'm not rich and I'm not famous but I am ordering the lift kit for my trailer since I was able to see how it was properly installed. Also checking out the skylights. Episodes like these give DIY peeps good ideas and good products instead of spending so much time and resources researching. I'm surprise so many other people aren't following Airstream Nuts and Bolts business practice, and open their own shop. Get some proper training and just be very good at any one of these project in this episode. Awesome episodes. PS: I have a AAS degree in Marine Maintenance Technology. Ronnie is very impressive!
Awesome videos! Learned so much! Ronnie is brilliant! WOW! He is an incredibly hard work. He KNOWS RV’S! What type of and shade of tint is on your Airsteam? Thanks for taking the time to do these videos.
Great build! I also added a thermistor controlled bilge blower and two fans to the inverter compartment to ensure maximum inverter efficiency. Florida heat kills power efficiency. Check out the Victron manual to view the drop in power efficiency over the temperature range.
18:50 TEMco Industrial has some very nice tools. I bought one of their hydraulic crimp tools (The TH0005) when I did my first Victron installation a few years ago. I made a video about using it to make battery cables back in 2020 when I did my second Victron installation. You are going to LOVE the new Onan inverter style quiet generator. I love mine as well. I prefer running mine verses my Honda EU2200i.
Another excellent contribution to Airstream mods. We don’t have an Airstream, it’s just fun to watch what you guys are doing and to what extent you’re willing to go for our entertainment, lol! I gotta put Alabama on the list just so I can visit and meet Ronnie. What a craftsman!! Great editing, as always. Safe travels! Not get out there and enjoy the well earned luxury of dry camping!
OMG! I sooo much love this episode! I want Ronnie to do my weekender package in my Brinkley TT❤️. I’m am sooooo impressed and overwhelmed with this solar /batteries stuff!
I love the flamingos everywhere. How cool is that. this was very informative. we have our new fifth wheel Grand Design Reflection 370FLS with solar. Loving it plus front living space more than enough room for our 4 springers. love all the information. we are still learning. 5 campers in 8 years we finally found our forever one. YAY.
Fun to watch as I spent the last three days replacing AGMs with an Epoch 460 heated LiFePO4 battery, Victron Phoenix smart charger, SmartSolar 150/85 MPPT controller and a Lithium Battery Isolation Manager in my 2018 Newmar Bay Star. Keeping the two dedicated inverters so I didn’t have to rewire the main power. Will be adding Cerbo GX.
I thought I knew all the options till I watched this episode. Generator is cool, but it will burn through a propane tank in 3.5 hours. We boondock all the time and love AC, and just installed a Kubota 7000 in our new truck, 16 hours run time running two ac units and around 50 hours using our diesel transfer tank. Now if you could install a large propane tank in the back of your truck and run the generator for extended periods that would be super cool. Wish they sold those erpods in value packs
Definitely some amazing mods, I've seen y'all modify like 6 or 7 rigs now lol. I most interested in seeing the propane usage now with the generator vs without one, especially in the winter.
Ronnie runs a tight ship and seems to be a true craftsman.
The place is as clean as a doctor's office. Very impressive.
@@Grevlain clean shop = clean work
@@airstreamnutsandbolts Hats off to ya sir. Amazing shop and work.
Ronnie is a rare find these days. Great at what he does. RV world needs more of him. So impressed.
When you guys are done this will be the best $300,000 trailer on the road! 🤣😂
Except all they did is buy the trailer. Everything else was "donated".
You have succeeded in keeping me interested for 27 minutes and 38 seconds without me jumping forward in an RV mod episode. Congrats
Only channel where the tech videos are as fun as the travel videos!
They always just fly by!
i was just going to type a similar message and saw yours.
I’d appreciate telling us the cost for everything if we were doing the same mods. (Not sponsored).
Ronnie is the real deal. The world needs more Ronnies.
I may need to buy an Airstream just so I can have Ronnie work on it. He is a true professional. Really enjoyed this series.
The man takes pride in his work, and takes pride in a clean shop. 👍
Charley flat out on his back with his toy is too dang cute!
I like it when he blinks so people don't think I slowed the footage down. Sometimes he is perfectly still for minutes. Funny dog.
I know, Right? He is so cute with that toy! 😍
Ronnie is true craftsman. "A man and his tools...it's a beautiful thing." Love the garage Zamboni too.
I’m SO jealous of the clear window. Love that Ronnie buffs the floor. That epitomizes how he treats his shop and all of his projects. It’s a beautiful place and a fun experience if you get the chance.
The floor buffing edit was spot on...or is that spot off!
The flamingo prank hillarious! He really uses his shop.
CHEESY AF!
Then they would have to explain about all the free stuff they were given. Very disingenuous.
@@Millard-vo3ds but it could be a full breakdown if someone outside ordered everything and had it installed. no free stuff.
They literally got everything for FREE! How can they breakdown the cost? They admitted last week that Battle Born and Victron sent them free stuff plus I'm sure Ronnie gave them a free install for publicity. "A generator can help mitigate your overall solar budget." This stuff cracks me up! 😎
I think the Erpods look bigger in an Airstream because of the reflection on the ceiling. They remind me of little Star Wars droids poking their heads out. 😄
Holy crap! That's me!
6:00 As an RV tech, when he mentioned a 12v DC to 110v AC relay, I immediately thought of the water heater element relay. It’s always enjoyable when a seemingly difficult problem has a simple solution sitting right in front of you!
Definitely
hoping to add a similar switch - any links to this relay? thank you!

I love watching Ronnie work. He’s got the right tool for every job. I would’ve liked to have a shop and tools like his when I did my renovation. I basically did my renovation in my driveway with a drill and a skill saw!
Congrats to the lithium battery winner
Ronnie made matching blue caps for the unistrut for the inverters? He is a detail oriented guy. Quality work!
I noticed that as well.
I’ll take credit for the caps but Can’t take the credit for the color. The caps come blue
Great episode! I waited all week for the ending of this episode and wasn't disappointed! Again, GREAT EPISODE! Thank you KYD, special thanks to Ronnie! A man who knows his stuff!

This is quite the innovative shop. Huge props to this place!
That Airstream is OFFICIALLY pimped to the max.
Found the pink flamingos at Tractor Supply just in case Ronny needs more.
Lifestyles of the rich and famous🎉
Love watching this guy work. When passion and knowledge combine like this it becomes performance art. The video editing helps too.
Great video. Ronnie is an craftsman that obviously takes tremendous pride in his work. It is thing of beauty.

Smaller version of his acetone dispenser has been in nail salons for decades, lol.

Wow, this guy is very precise and good working on this upgrade! Acolades to this firm Marc!
Happy Sunday

Pure class. Your brand shines through everything: camera work, editing, music., Personal style, humor… hot wife. Just loved it. Got my sub.
Great idea on mounting the inverter with the uni strut. Gonna give that a try!
What a great series!
Dream build for sure.
Welcome to the lifestyles of the rich and RUclips famous

Very well made, documented and informational video. Thank you so much for your time and effort.

I think they swore they would never travel in winter weather again !
Great video as always thanks so much.

So many fantastic videos! Thanks!!
Great job!!! Fantastic!
Love it!
I like that smart plug. That’s something I think I’ll be doing.
