Restart fixed it, so I just booked the job. FYI Make sure you have Version #2 or #3 Valve Body. Version #1 you must replace Valve Body & Conductor plate together. 👍🏼 Shifts like butter now. If you mean a transmission service rather than an engine oil change, these symptoms can happen from having a low level of transmission fluid. Very likely that the fluid level was not set correctly.

Do these solenoids fail because of poor transmission maintenance , that is, not renewing the filter and fluid on schedule or is it just their life expectancy with age and miles? What are the driving symptoms of these failing solenoids?
This is a common issue with the 722.9. The solenoids start getting stuck after a while because of poor maintenance( gunk in the oil). The symptoms are: while putting the car into park or drive etc.. the car will kick, also while driving, when the car changes gear it will kick mostly in gears 1-4. I had this issue, i did a whole transmission service and drained the torque converter, put 9 new liters of fluid.. with the right process, i reset my transmission module, dealer states 250 mile process to feel the difference, thats wasnt true on my end, dont get me wrong my car drove way smoother after the change but it wasn’t till around 1000 miles till the kicks completely went away.
