I'm a Mississippi State fan and we had an outstanding 2014 also. I was pulling for the Rebels in all their games until they played the Bulldogs. Both teams had a great season in 2014.

This game single handedly turned me into a cfb fan. I thought Alabama was unbeatable until I watched this game. Best upset I’ve ever seen. And the kick 6 game was insane too
As a Alabama fan can say thanks that you though we was unbeatable but this was at time when people thought the dynasty was dead we lost one game in 2011 and 2012 and won the national title both years in 2013 we had kick 6 and lost to Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl this year 2014 we lost to ole miss and Ohio State in the playoffs in the Sugar Bowl so then in 2015 lost to Ole Miss again but won the national title as we beat Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl and then Clemson in the national title game we had 7 lose from 2009 to 2013 and we had 8 lose from 2014 going into 2021 give us only 15 loses from 2009 to current crazy still that if add 6 lose from 07 and the 2 loses from 08 bama only lost 23 games in a 15 year Spain so yes close to unbeaten as you can get

I was down in Charleston for the weekend and saw this game at Mellow Mushroom. It was insane when ole miss won. I had never seen any fans storm the field like that. Too bad my NC State Wolfpack lost 41-0 to Clemson.

Ever noticed how with as much success as Bama has they never produce elite QBs anymore? I can't even remember the last time I saw a Bama QB take a snap in the NFL. Every year whoever they have under center is considered top notch but honestly I think it's just a byproduct of stellar offensive lines and great skill players.
Funny in 2022 Alabama had three former qbs starting in the NFL...Tua,Hurts and Mac Jones.
