My very first concert was KISS, in Detroit’s Cobo Hall back in 1978. KISS was HUGE in Detroit. I was only 11 years old. My ears were ringing for three days after. And every show from every band I saw over the next forty years was compared to that one
Peter Criss left in 80, Ace Frehley left in 82, Eric Carr died in 91. Peter and Ace came back in 96. Eric Singer on drums 1991-1995 2001-2002 2004-2023. Tommy Thayer on lead guitar 2002-2023.
I seen them in the early 90’s during the Revenge tour. Then in ‘96 during the reunion tour. Then again in 2010 and 2019. All the shows were incredible!
Unfortunately, Paul is singing to a vocal track here and all of the End of the Road tour. Paul blew his voice out several years ago and had a couple of failed vocal chord surgeries. He sings a few lines here and there and does all of the adlibs live. But his main vocal is a prerecorded track. Having said that. Paul is my musical hero and gave his voice to the fans all of those years. It was heartbreaking when it started to go around 2009. He sang live with it for many years until it got to the point to where he just couldn't anymore. And that's why the lead vocal tracks were done for him. Again, watch this song from Sydney 1980 with Eric Carr on drums. Mind. Blowing.
Klassic Kiss song. It never gets old. I remember seeing them perform this on the 1976 Paul Lynde Halloween Special. They also performed "Beth" and my personal favorite from Destroyer--"King Of The Night Time World".
Haha 🤣😂 Let’s goooo! My dad absolutely loves them and has seen them 3 times too! Thanks for sharing and as long as they can still do it I say why not?!
What?! That’s awesome!! I have alot of KISS reactions here on the channel! If you haven’t seen them, go to our homepage and scroll down until you see the playlist KISS! Been going down the rabbit hole lately and loving it! 🤘🏻
@@setonhillstudios As you are a drummer i recommend you look at who their second drummer was, Eric Carr, he was explosive on those drums, i recommend I Love It Loud the music video as a great introduction to the drums of Eric Carr.

Elephant??? Looks like you got into a fight with a bobcat. I saw them in 2019 right before the world turned upside down. One of the best shows of theirs I've ever seen! Like you said, awesome pyro / stage show. Sounded great! Just amazing. Then that same summer I saw Alice Cooper and Def Leppard together. Alice blew Leppard off the stage. It was an amazing show. I want to say he was around 72 years old!! It was incredibly loud and kickass!! I will go see Alice again in a heartbeat. But I digress... Kiss Army since the late 70s, baby! 🤘🤘Cold Gin, Deuce and Strutter are prob my 3 fav bangers from these guys. Best wishes on healing, brother.
Haha 🤣😂 No argument here! Got roughed up! Thanks for sharing I bet they were insane live! Appreciate the laugh and thanks for the well wishes! Have a great one! 🤘🏻
1983, I am an MP in the Army stationed in Nuremberg Germany. I was assigned to work the Kiss concert. My smokin hot German girlfriend was a Kiss freak. I was able to get her into the concert and also backstage. It was dead. No makeup and hardly anybody there. It looked to me like a dying band. Fast forward 20 years and i am back home in Orange County Ca. Around 2000 I was recently widowed and a friend showed up with Kiss tickets. They were on fire. Sold out the Honda Center in Anaheim Ca. I was blown away. Fire, explosions, just a spectacle. I could not believe it was the same band. I think Ted Nugent played as well, but all I remember was Kiss
10 times for me. First show was Creatures of the Nighr in Rochester NY. Saw the original 4 twice and just about every lineup. The only non-makeup show I saw was Revenge.
You need to do an earlier version of this! Paul’s voice used to be much better. Very disappointing when you’ve seen them in concert 30 years ago with the original members. I’ve seen them many times and my favorite was Halloween night at dodger Stadium in 1998 with the original four members from the psycho Circus tour.
It's funny...they also played Rock n Roll All Night on this appearance, Gene forgot the lyrics (to a song he's been singing for 50 years...yikes), Paul makes them start over!
Got to see them twice. 1983 with Eric Carr on drums and in 2012 with Eric Singer on drums and Tommy Thayer on lead guitar. 1983 show was better in my opinion.

If you want to see the REAL KISS don't waste your time on anything after about 1976 . They were so underrated at the beginning of their career but they were one of the hardest most energetic and entertaining bands around. Once they made some money they got distracted and just weren't as good and when Peter and Ace left they weren't even KISS anymore. They made some good albums and were a decent band but they just weren't as good imo .
Unfortunately this is Kizz Vocally at their worst sounding Kizz 77 Tokyo play that even Tempo way too slow makes Singers drumming sound poor.and it's not generally
This isn’t really kiss. It’s a tribute band. The drummer and lead guitarist are fake. Not the original members. The band you saw on midnight special singing “she“ is the original, raw, hungry, dangerous kiss band.
