I sent this video to my students, thank you again!

This woman is a really good teacher and explains everything so well and in a straightforward manner with examples and big Chinese characters plus pronunciation.
It's kind of a slang I believe. The complete form of "我服了" are "我佩服了" or " "我服從了". They are literally "I admire and agree this" and "I obey this". The talker @nicholaswebber6694 want to express "He believe this sentence because he might have the similar experience >< I guess.... (I am sorry for that)

question about the clip @ 2:50 the subtitles say "现在变成两个." but i feel like i clearly heard "现变两个." my question is when you first saw the clip did you hear "现在变成两个" , do you naturally fill in the blanks, or do you look at the subtitles to see exactly what was meant (fairly certain you have no need to check out the subtitles but figured I'd ask anyway). I've been looking at videos of contractions in mandarin recently and have found those very interesting. I am native speaker, for my ear, there is no wrong sound, most of native speakers always speak so fast that non-native speaker can't hear correct pronounciation clearly, (actually, each person from China has their own accent, especially the Taiwanese accent in the video.)No matter what accent it is, you need to get used to the accents in case you don't understand the native speakers. As English native speakers do, they speak too fast to catch, my terrible ears on English Listening.
@@kevinpan5525 You will find British English easier to understand than American English. You will also find American English easier to pronounce correctly as compared to British English. Listen like an Englishman, speak like an American. I've a fair amount of experience teaching ESL.
Usually you can split a sentence into the person/thing doing an action (the subject), the action they're doing (the verb), and the thing/person they're doing that action to (the object). So if you talked to a doctor, you (the subject) and the doctor (the object) are very separate, because the only thing connecting you and the doctor is the action of talking. Whereas if you became a doctor, the verb (becoming) means that the subject (you) and the object (a doctor) become the same thing at some point.
