I am a bit skeptical. Normally it's the electrode and tip that wears out not the swirl ring, cup etc. So am I paying for everything every time the tip or electrode wears out ??? Will it just stop when it thinks it is worn out; when I need to make just a few more cuts?

Hello, they designed to last longer and wear evenly. If you get the reader you get statistics and it tells you how much arc on time. We have got a lot of really good feedback on them!

I thought the old style consumables were pretty simple. There is even a diagram on top of the machine that tells you how it goes back together...pretty hard to screw up. My thoughts are if you can't put the plasma consumables on correctly, you probably have no business using a plasma cutter in the first place!

This is not a review, its an unboxing. No real world scenarios were given here.

Could you do a life span comparison between new consumables vs old ones? how much would be the consumable cost per hour in both cases?
    Thanks nice video
