Great Idea. I checked their website, every speaker in this range has same power output. Amplifiier board looks like cheap Class D DIY boards. Not a 1795 pound product. Hope they send youtbers for reviews
I can tell you, , I have these speakers at home 23i but of course they are inactive, connected to the Naim Uniti Nova , and what I heard at this audio show really impressed me , And actually, when I entered the room, at first I didn't even realize that it was the active version of my speakers. As for the appearance of this amplifier on the board, I was surprised that there are twice 100 watts and an active crossover.Overall, I really liked how it sounded, but I would probably prefer to hear it in my own room and compare it one to one with my equipment , then I could express my opinion directly and confidently
i won't buy a class D active speaker , only a high biased class A / AB active loudspeaker . Simply no class D active speakers sound as good as a pair of active ATC SCM ASL . Class D isn't a pure signal path like the signal path in a active crossover class A / AB active loudspeaker . The class D signal has to pass through filtration , as well as you can't get rid of those high frequency distortions that class D amplification inherently has . Class D will never be as pure and clean and clear as class A / AB active amplification , simple as , no matter which way you dice and slice the class D amplification signal path .
