All Emotion Sounds in The Sims 4 (with HD images!)

- We got another version of this old video! Trust me, it's worth it! 😂
Every emotional sound effect/sting from The Sims 4, and their corresponding emotion portraits/images! This of course includes "Possessed" from StrangerVille game pack as well as the "Scared" and "Terrified" emotions that were added in the free update for The Sims 4 Paranormal stuff pack! It also includes the updated "Very Playful" portrait that came in the free update for Growing Together expansion pack.
All of the emotion sounds are the original HD audio files, extracted from the game with the highest possible quality!

Apart from the updated "Very Playful" image, all of the images/portraits in this video have been upscaled! I hope you like them, because I think they look awesome now!
If you came here from the first version of this video, here is a list of everything that has been improved/changed:
• Tightened up the audio to remove silence
• No moodlets in the images
• Less blotchy images that properly show the facial features of Vivian. (I also previously used a default skin that didn't look good on Vivian, so I removed it.)
• Upscaled images
• Updated the "Very Playful" portrait
• Added a "Sad (2)" image
• Added the two "Flirty" and "Very Flirty" portraits for male sims (but shown on my female sim 😂)
• Added an "Asleep" image as "Thanks for Watching" screen, showing off that emotion/mood as well, even though it doesn't have any sound associated with it
• Shortened the "Thanks for Watching" screen
• Updated images used in the thumbnail

my favorite is the chain of embarrassed>very embarrassed>mortified...i love how they keep the same jingle but amp it up a tiny bit each time
Same! I also love that the Mortified one is the Embarassment level where you can die of embarrassment, so it sounds a lot more intense than the first two levels. 😂😂😂😂

@@MattiK2609its kinda hard to do without mods bc its reliant on embarrased as a main moodlet with others acting as amplifiers, and at least in my game embarrassed can get overridden by a fucking nice decor moodlet lmao

@@dorian417 literally in 2014 the second family I made was grandma and her teen granddaughter and she (teen) had series of unfortunate events and died of embarrassment on 3rd day. I was 13 back then and had to take a brake for few days after this 😭😆

Same here, I either ignored it, found these random sounds annoying, or got a bit worried there was a burglar hidden somewhere!
How do u spend that long on the game and never realise that it had noises for the emotions, I noticed after like 30 mins of playing

@@Acid_legendMy Sims are mostly happy. All the time. I've associated those sounds mostly with some notifications or something similar, never with the change of emotions. Also, I don't find emotions particularly impactful so their changes is not particularly important.
Or I play without the sound of the game.

I feel like the only one who wants emotions in sims 5. I think they're very very interesting and i would love to hear a updated version of them
People are saying they don't want emotions in Sims 5 as if they hate having emotions in game that it needs to be changed for the future of sims? Who is saying this?
Do they even have emotions in real life? What's wrong with the emotions? Do they not like flavor in their games? Do they want it to be a decorating simulation and not a LIFE simulation? What is wrong with the sims community? I keep seeing things of them complaining about the littlest of things..

Although the emotion does not impact the game that much, but I love every single detail of it. Such as stomp when angry, running of fear when scared etc.. it makes the game more realistic too
I feel like the emotion system is actually pretty cool! But I also think it needs some tweaks because it's way too easy for Sims to flip between emotion.
For example, it stinks that your Sims may suddenly die if they're too playful and happy (since being happy suddenly boosts playfulness super fast). Seems like a poor reward for having happy Sims
FUN FACT: The second level of all the emotions used to have a different name!
Very Happy was originally called Elated.
Very Energized was originally called Fired Up.
Very Inspired was originally called Imaginative.
Very Focused was originally called In The Zone.
Very Confident was originally called Fearless.
Very Flirty was originally called Passionate.
Very Playful was originally called Silly.
Very Uncomfortable was originally called Miserable.
Very Tense was originally called Stressed.
Very Sad was originally called Depressed.
Very Angry was originally called Furious.
Very Embarrassed was originally called Humiliated.

For anyone in the comments wondering what the fuck the ‘possessed’ emotion is, it is an emotion exclusive to the StrangerVille pack, and is the only emotion that requires a specific pack to use since all the others are in the base game
Possessed is that you are fully controlled by an evil spirit, they say that if you do something “negative”, you will become possessed

Personally I thought the old one looked really good. However, I love think the new one looks better simply because it makes the progression from playful to very playful to UR GONNA DIE more logical.

Say what you want about TS4's emotions system, but the sounds are so perfect, the dazed one in particular really stands out for me
I get the dazed one from being zapped when trying to fix stuff 😂 or the occasional lightning strike
The dazed sound should be the theme song for being incredibly drunk

I think the devs could add another way to die if they add a third scared mood in the game and the Sim stays like that for too long, like when they're Mortified, Enraged or Hysterical
Sadness would makw the most sense for them to add, it could be like depressed or something

@@Boo-go9gf well that's right, imagine a Sim has the fear of failure, fear to be judged or fear of unachievable dreams (or whatever the name of that fear was, none of my Sims never had it anymore I forgot about it lol) and that would make the Sim have a moodlet like "Feeling a failure", "Not enough?" Or smth like that, and at the end if the player doesn't help the Sim go through this situation, the Sim may become insensitive and indifferent to anything and at the end finds a way to end their life
Fine: for what's meant to be a neutral sound, it sounds very cheerful
Happy: a happier version of Fine
Very Happy: "I'm so happy I'll start playing the flute"
Energised: I love how mischievous it sounds
Very Energised: no mischief, just drum-banging energy
Inspired: low-key banger, ngl. The embodiment of inspiration

Tbh I like the ominous ambience that plays when your Sim is possessed, it freaks me out, but that ambience really suits that haunted kinda vibe.

There are several ranges of emotions. Sims may reach one stage of an emotion, and then progress to a second, more extreme stage of the same emotion. For the case of Anger, Embarrassment and Playfulness, they can then progress to the third stage (Enraged, Mortified and Hysterical, respectively), which is an even more extreme stage that can lead to emotional death. For instance, a Sim that is embarrassed may become very embarrassed, more embarrassment leads to mortified. Sims that stay in that extreme emotional state may eventually die from it.[

I love the detail of the Embarrassed moodlet, your Sim doesn't make eye contact with you until theyre completely Mortified (which in a way is too late since they can die.) It"s like they cant hide anymore and they know it, and that's what kills them
