I love taking a seasonal approach to running! I’ll do a couple of run clinics every year and then take time off in between to focus on other types or exercise/activities :) I find it keeps me motivated to keep running if I know I’m only doing it for a certain amount of weeks
Your Swedish sounds really good. Summer nights in Sweden are amazing but it's really hard to watch the sun set, at least if you are like me and have to go to bed by 21:00.

Glade to see your open to keeping a day off, everyone needs it, theirs to much burn out in hustle culture … (btw them bball skills are rust’in lol) (sry this next parts lengthy) so speaking of falling off, well I did that for 4 yrs, actually finding some of your content helped shift things over (the situation is still ongoing but for another time) so I was a power lifter until nov. 2018… fast forward to January 2023 finally got back into it, i decided to run compounds earlier this and heres my current (still not 2018 level and definitely nowhere near PR’s but makin that progress) Bench 275, Squat 450, deadlift 480, military press 135… as motivation Wacco TX has a powerlifting meet April 2024 that i’m aiming for, no i won’t be where my PR’s were (its questionable if ill ever hit that again) but hoping to be better then i was before 2018

I’d love to get back into running. When training for the Great Wall of China marathon I managed to break my ankle in three places slipping in mud! I managed to do the fun run (as a walk) in China which was amazing 🤩 but since then my confidence has been really rocked by this experience - that was 5 years ago. I’m overweight and really need to get my cardio fitness back. Any tips Keltie? X ps keep up the great work - love your channel xx
Start small! Even just 5-10 minute run 1-3x a week. Or walk for a minute run for 10 seconds, repeats 10-20x. Then each week run 10-30 seconds more and it’s amazing how the body adapts. You got this!!

Running question: I’m currently recovering from a stress fracture gained during marathon training, currently unable to run. how do you stay motivated to workout? I’m struggling to want to do anything because I’m so focused on the fact I can’t run

Do I go for maintenance, or should I push a bit and do another race? Or maybe go further than a half? Girl the way you’re washing your brushes is giving me anxiety! 😂 don’t drown them, the glue on the hair will come off and they start shedding. Buy cinema secrets, it’s a blue spray and will clean any makeup off brushes. Spray it in a paper towel, then gently clean the brush on it. And every now and then clean it with soap and water but on your hand, don’t dip it in a cup of water. You only want the water to get in the brush middle down. Never on the roots or the glue will come apart.

When I was injured I found other "emotional outlets". In the past that's how I found video editing, currently it has been producing music. I reframed it to instead of "I should be working out right now" to "oo I have an extra hour in the day to do that *thing* I never had the time for". Good luck on your recovery
niceeeeee... when I walk I just listen to nature... it seems you always need to put your attention into something. ... not a critics of course. Just maybe something you can try too. Just forget you have a phone 😂😂😂
I really want to get into running. My husband loves going on runs. However I really struggle because exercise does not feel good for me, I don't get those post-workout endorphines (before you ask me if I've tried X... yes. Yes I have) and after I work out I just feel sweaty, sick and tired. How can I make exercise, and more specifically running, a routine and something enjoyable? Because at this point I just feel very defeated
If you feel sick after running/exercising, maybe you’re starting with too much too fast? If your husband’s been running for a while it will be hard to keep up, but maybe you guys could hike or take walks together, and make it a little date! Grab a snack together when you’re done, that kind of thing. If you really want to join him but hate running, perhaps you could rollerblade or bike beside him? Or you could surprise him by cabbing to his halfway point and joining in hahaha anyway, I hope you figure something out that works!

Try using an oil makeup remover to clean that brush - looks like soap and water isn't breaking down whatever's on there
