I have been following Robert and his music for years , he is my favorite blues man. I have seen him seven times and tomorrow will be number eight at the ridgefield playhouse in CT. I really love his early stuff like porch light phone booth and many others i miss the Memphis horns who played with him. time goes on and things change but Robert is always steady you can always count on him for a solid performance Robert is the blues and has played with all the greats god bless Robert Cray
I think he's one of the greatest blues singers. His songs goes so much of the things what's happens in real life. Thank you Robert, love you'r playing and your singing really hits me.
This man is an enigma, one of the best singers and guitarists ever. Saw him once in Glasgow Barrowlands. One of the best concerts I have ever been to. Long live Bob
One of the greatist Blues singers that sings about how life sucs today. This is the reality and the emotions and feeling are so good. And no she will not think of you. Love you Robert
It's amazing how Robert Cray can convey his emotions through his songs, one of the greatest guitarists but even greater story teller I've ever heard! You can feel what he's saying I love it! Thanks for posting this!
Very neat arrangement with the band not drowning out the singer ... Robert has a very pleasing relaxed style .... Another great selection from our good friend "Bluesy Bee"
Few artists are better live than in the studio but I believe Mr. Cray has it down!! There's no one like him. Always consistent, voice is incredible, mastery of his guitar, just outstanding. Truly an exceptional performer.
Seeing him next year. Never been to one of his concerts but have four of his records going back to late 70s early 80s and one cd. Brilliant track never heard it before
Wow, such unbelievable playing & vocals. What a great song too. I love Robert Cray, one of the greatest blues players alive today. So unique.Take a look at his backing musicians too, especially the drummer - fabulous stuff. Thank you for this video.
Robert Cray is the total package and, for more than 25 years, one of my all-time faves, but I don't know how he picked this guy to replace Richard Cousins. His dynamics are all over the place, his tone has no bottom, and he's never in the pocket.
You think this world belongs To you, my love That's where you're wrong I've always know that Consider yourself lucky You got the best of the deal How could you grow so cold And tell me that's how you feel? When this love is done When the new ones come Will you think of me? Will you think of me? One last big hug One last good cry One last kiss And then I'll say goodbye You won't get rid of my love With no damn headache pill Oh, the hurt might leave you, baby But I never will When this love is done When the new ones come Will you think of me? Yeah, will you think of me? As I walk out this door Something tells me you're gonna need me By that look in your eyes Ohhh, you gonna need me One day You think this world belongs To you, my love I know there's somethin' Making it hard to walk on To you it may look like nothing But to me it's a lot Ohh, when I leave It doesn't mean that the feeling's gonna stop When this love is done When the new ones come Will you think of me? Hey, will you think of me? Heyyyyyyyyy!!!!! I know you're gonna need my loving
OREGONBEKKI,isn't he awesome live?He actually sounds as good or better than on DVD.I saw him at a small venue in Indiana last year and I was just blown away at how great he still is. Every song seems to tell a story, and his emotions come out in his playing and facial expressions.I lOVE ROBERT CRAY XX
Love this...and I happen to really dig Richard Cousins...that dude is all kinds of smooth and cool...would love to have a drink with him next Monday night in K-town after the show at the Bijou...I'll be center stage, 2nd row dude, let hubby & I hook you up Knoxville style...

Who the heck cares if he dyes his hair. It doesn't change his talent one bit and not only does he shine, but his star always will while we watch others come and go.
like eric clapton humbly says it...for the BLUES.. Robert Cray .the keeper of the flame .. imo the band members change and the new cd disappointing .. yeah i have seen all the drums Tony Braunagel has and heard his credentials..the self-important Richard Cousins ...IT'S EASY TO PLAY THE BLUES BUT IT'S HARD TO FEEL THEM!!! the former players..:Kevin Hayes and Karl Sevareid are sorely missed .. and Robert has begun dyeing his hair to appear/appeal to a target market..kinda sad he used to shine
I COMPLETELY DISAGREE, IMHO.....Richard Cousins is an original member, if he's good enough for Robert Cray, he should be for us. No reason to bash his "feel" he didn't write the songs Robert Cray did. Same thing with Toney, more than capable professional.I think your just over analyzing the albums and the rhythm section as whole. Just saying cut the guys some slack the newer albums are just good, hell Crays obviously becoming abetter songer writer as well, these guys don't hustle backwards!

Chills up my spine. Incredible song, great guitar playing.
Where have these good bands and singers, gone? 😢
Robert Cray and band are still touring.
I getting new to Cray's material. He's truly something to watch. A unique performer.
Lovely song. Cray's guitar accompaniment to his moving vocal is incomparable.

Great music. Have three of his LPs one cd. Not this track. Hopefully he will play it at Birmingham England this year. Lovely
Many of my fav vids of "Robert Cray Band" turned unavailable on playlist due to copyright restrictions or such like bugs.

can't help it, put this in a loop. To help me trough the night. SO amazing performance
I couldn't believe when he played at our blues festival a few years back, thought to myself that's gotta be wrong ,but no :)

Hah, have you also read "pizza blues" instead of "piazza blues" in the video's description?
