They look great, almost as nice as Takomo if I'm honest, but it'll take a lot for me to consider parting with my i230s

Good video Gary, the Caley 01t irons look nice, I think they may work well for James after a bit of a fit.
From how he’s described his game, they could potentially help. We’ll get them head to head with his pings ⛳️

😂 they definitely used to be a golf brand called tokomo , I keep getting muddled up 😅
Easiest thing for people to do for a "fit" and I use the term very loosely would be go into your local American golf and have a free fit, try the different irons, ones similar to the DTC irons you are interested in, you can check lofts for eg before you go to see which sets are similar, then try all the shafts in american golf for free, see the numbers and see which you prefer the feel of, then just order your Caley/Takomo online 😎

I’ve messaged Benross, but not had an any response. They must like to control who reviews their product. Some don’t like independent reviews.
@@garymartingolfcontact Wilson, the range is incredible, great pricing and a recognised brand. Sam should try and be a Wilson fitter, get them added as an affordable option to his fitting stable

My mate is 9 handicap and uses the G430. Refuses to change!
It’s not essential to change. The only reasons I would look too, is if the ball flight is too high to control in wind, or the back to front distance dispersion is wild!

I’ve reached out to them too. It’s not easy being independent. I think a lot of these company’s just prefer dealing with magazine company’s.
It's a real shame, if only they knew how much they would benefit through collaboration and reviews, seems to have worked for caley and tokomo so far!

Was that a kite over the last green??? I’ve never seen that on a course before.
They’re deteriorates to stop animals going onto the greens. We get a lot of deer, and wildlife on the course.

I'm a similar handicap and been using ping g25. I've gone down a different route and bought second hand. I've gone for Titleist ap2 714s beautiful clubs and wow what a difference in ball flight 🏌️🏌️
Have you got a lower more penetrating ball flight ?
@@garymartingolf yeah increased distance and accuracy. A good 10 yards and desperation is much tighter
What shafts are the graphites at that £550ish price?
UST mamiya Recoil dart. Yeah £549 in graphite.

For me it's just that X on the back of the club, somebody really creative must have come up with that. Look at the Takomo logo , now that's a logo, for me that X would put me off buying them.
Really! It’s quite the opposite for me, I like the clearness of the look. I guess that’s why it’s great that we have plenty of choice 😅
