Thank you just rented one for a week so far love it first time standing on the back so nice can see all over also I move it standing next to it if need take care God bless
Ive heard the new ditch witches have a lot of problems. Sprockets falling out, hydraulic lines popping, Problems ordering parts, Their techs not trained properly, etc.
These are handy little machines but unfortunately you basically have to buy them new.. guys selling them used for like 12 dollars less than they paid from the dealer.
Bc u cant get them new... 2yr wait time. I paid 33k for 600hr one 2yr old. Pricy sure but either add $$ to biz with one for more $ or don't add $$ and wait two years. 12k under new would b a great deal depending on hours they're about 45k new
@@danieldmytriw3276 I was quoted 28K from the dealer in 2018 for a brand new machine. These things are going to tank in value next recession. Last I checked my dealer said 8 months to get one.. and yeah that is why they are so expensive.. eventually they will have these things sitting on the lot again and they will have to lower their prices.. they'll never be 28K again but 2018 wasn't that long ago. New ones will be under 35K eventually. My Takeuchi dealer had an empty lot for two years but now when I drive by they have several machines out by the road, for sale. Shortages made prices go way up, a surplus will make them go way down. 45K for a 25HP mini is absurd.
Before you buy ask for a maintenance records from the DW dealer they bought it from. Most people selling them don't do hardly any routine maintenance. Trust me I work for DW so I see it everyday. Remember you only get out of it what you put into it !

Ditch Witch is the best of the best imo. Other is vemeer. Dingo is eh. Stay away from cheap plastic bobcat mini skids.
