I agree about the loader joystick. Too close to the handle and too low, I have really big hands too and that is very annoying. I have 500hrs on mine and all the buttons are still fine just so you know you don’t have to worry about them too too much.
@@Aumanlandscape I thought the same. They seem to be holding up fine though. Also I hate the bogging down with the boom movement you were talking about. But other then that the thing is amazing.
Hey man , great video , I landscape /hardscape, I test drove all the mini brands, hands down Ditch Witch is the best, I've got a 2014 Sk750 with 2700 hrs on it and 27 attachments and an 2006 XT 1600 2100 hrs on it, full size with the backhoe , the BEAST!
Flip your counter weights backwards to get more leverage to the rear. Since there are only two bolts per side it shouldn’t cause any trouble with fit. Moreover help with those heavier loads.
Thanks for the video. New subscriber here. The things you didn't like are the same reasons I bought the Vermeer ctx-160. The Ditchwitch dealer told me they started flipping the counter weights backwards to add more ballast for a greater weight carrying capacity. I hope she serves you well .
I have a Chinese Brand V 1000 bought in December 23 and it costs totally from China to Florida $14,000.00 and it lifts pallets of 80 lbs sacrete with no problem! Ditch Witch is wicked! $60k for that! 😮
Thank the Lord fortunately we do do not. I know the manufacturer recommends not letting it idle very much so we try to either run it full blast or not at all which is so counterintuitive to what I ever thought about diesels lol.
You prob could depending on how friendly your dealer is feeling. It would be necessary to order in everything though and not take it from in stock pavers your supplier has on hand. You would also have to pay the layering fees associated with your order. My experience with unilock anyway
I liked it when I demoed one. Just a lot of money for something that can barely pick up a pallet of pavers. They are beasts for what they are though.

That’s great to hear ! They seem so vulnerable hahaha

27 attachments?!!!!!!! That’s awesome!
Really well done analysis of the machine. Thanks
Thanks. Glad you liked it!
This is a really well done demonstration of the pros and cons... especially liked you showing true in the field lift capabilities... thanks!
Awesome! Glad it was worthwhile !
Please make a video of making it clean around those fuel tanks so you can just pull along and fuel up. This drives me crazy!!!❤
Haha this bugs a lot of people. We’re able to get to them fine ! Haha

Thanks ! I’ve heard of people doing this hesitant to constantly push the machine too far.

Interesting thing about the counterweights but after having the 1550 for one year, it’s been absolutely great
I’ve had my sk1550 for 5-6 years now. By far the best machine for landscaping up to a point
Agreed
I use one all the time and I love it ....thing is a beast

Do u still have that machine ? Do u like it so far? Any problems? I’m looking to buy one
It’s worth it if you have the work coming in for it
We Appreciate You
Thank you!
I appreciate you watching !
Hello, how big is your storage building ?
70x120
Do these Witches have a code in order to start the engine?
Both of ours are key start
Do you ever have regen problems with this machine we have them all the time not sure what to do

@@Aumanlandscape yeah we have been doing that. I appreciate your responding
Imagine if suppliers did half pallets....

Maybe then Unilock could pull out all their broken pavers that come with each pallet
@@kylerobinson2048yeah I hear that. I’ve been considering changing brands but I’m sure they all have their own issues.
That’s a fair assessment.

Midskeer that’s funny
