I’m a fan of one of big 6 but I’m fed up with them treating fans like customers and milking as much money out of the sport. Only going to get worse as well it’s a joke unless your team is right at the top they’re never going to be anymore
@@AsianBatman810honestly go to local games as much as you can, i’m west ham through my family but my local is a national league club in essex, i go as often as i can to support them and also to take a break from the premier league as it can be so frustrating and draining sometimes. lower leagues are more fun to watch imo
Supporters of top 6 clubs need to start supporting local/lower leagues, just move away from this monopoly (because that is what it is, as you said these clubs would rather have no competition so their revenue stream continues to please the shareholders). I've been a Liverpool fan for 30 years and I've become completely disillusioned with it all, all the owners of these clubs are disgusting. We have to support grass roots
I support my local team as well as my team from the premier league, my local team used to play in the national league not all of us can watch our local teams every week, obviously now it’s possible via Ifollow since my team got promoted but you can’t expect everyone to be going to Torquay away or Scunthorpe, lots of us grew up watching premier league football and chose a specific team that we felt a connection with, if I were born in Birmingham I might of been a Birmingham fan or Nottingham a Derby fan, lots of us didn’t have the privilege of growing up in big cities who have good EFL teams .
@@jaycartwright1170 I’ve been supporting Liverpool since I was like 6 years old and I’m 24 years old now, you can call me a glory hunter all you want, I remember when we were laughed at every week for not making top four getting beat in the europa league by teams like Basel and having players like Kyrigakos,David N’gog, aquilanni, etc but sure I’m a glory hunter who chose to support a team that hadn’t won a league title for nearly 2 decades when I started supporting them, growing up before the recent success I could only remember us winning a carabao cup with Kenny Dalglish but sure I chose to support Liverpool for the glory.
@@jaycartwright1170 Like I said I still support my local team and watch every match maybe realise it wasn’t easy to watch your local team like 15/20 years ago especially when they weren’t even in the football league, a glory hunter is someone who sees a team winning and decides to support them, and growing up we weren’t like we are now, maybe go look at all the city fans who started supporting them after they were signing Robinho,Tevez,Silva, etc.
You’re an absolute hero mate. Great video. I’m a wolves fan and I think it’s all a disgrace. I hope the big teams do leave to make a super league and we can get back to competitive English football once again. Football is dying and has been for years now, this is just another nail in the coffin of football. Keep up the great work mate.
FA Cup replays are historical for some lower league and non league clubs. It generates so much revenue to keep them alive and a fantastic day out (imagine Harleston Town against Arsenal at the Emirates), also memories for the fans. And the fact that that is all being destroyed is just disgusting. English football is so screwed.
Sorry we can’t have a non league team making enough money to ensure their survival for a decade because Klopps worried his benchwarmers won’t be able to win and they’ll get tired.
Spot on. It was actually twice in 3 season that Brackley knocked us out the FA Cup in a replay. Each time I was there to see how much it meant to them.
Really hard to disagree with any of this - I do think all teams play a bit too much and I guess there could be an argument of travel time for European competitions for the prem sides, particularly in Europa/Conference league. Biggest farce is that not one EFL team was consulted - simply bonkers.
yea the amount of games teams play is absurd of course, but as callum pointed out, doing tours in asia or australia or america for preseason isn’t really helping their case. sure do a couple of local friendlies to warm up for the season but these international friendly tours premier league clubs have started doing aren’t helping with the mass amount of games they have to play
You make some great points, I am in a lucky position right now as a villa fan, but we were close to getting huge point deductions in the championship not that long back for not paying tax bills and whatnot like derby got (ironically it was them we beat in the play off final so that could easily have been our fate) I really cant understand how the premier league teams have gone ahead with these no replay changes, I understand the top 6 bollox teams saying it they have wanted a closed shop for years, but the palaces and Bournemouth's of this world, could easily find themselves in a very similar position to where we were a few years ago. This all comes from the klops and peps of the top end bitching about how many games they have to play but with mega squads to begin with. its bollox and I totally agree with you, I hope the teams unite and refuse to play unless they bring back replays.
There were so many ways they could have gone about it as well. Could’ve been like there will be a replay unless both teams agree to not having one. Great video
Absolutely disgusting, over 700 teams participate and the only ones asked were the ones that benefit the least from it, its genuinely like going to a vegan convention and asking them if they want to drink a pint of milk.

I watch every game of both teams and they both play the same amount of football roughly, it’s one rule for one and another for the rest.
Spot on.. As a Pompey Fan we would not have won it in 2008 without a replay. The club have made an official statement stating they strongly object and were not informed at all before the news came out. Piss take
cant believe that this was the solution to playing more games. Every other team in every other league in england plays as many games as premier league teams, but the premier league complain the most while having all the money in the world , its absolutely ridiculous
It's a proper disgrace. Replays have literally saved teams from going bust in the past, and this whole "oh the big teams play too many games" is a nonsense reason for scrapping it. As you said, a top 6 league one side could play the same amount of games as a treble winning Man City side. We all freaked out over the Super League at the time, but in actual fact the English Premier League is the actual Super League.

How about tied after 90 minutes it goes to a coin flip. I'm an Everton supporter I'm glad we got a replay vs Palace this year because we need the money so we don't get an 80 point deduction next year.

It’s so sad what football has come to, they care about the sport and enjoyment anymore but the how much they can get for a play with 2 left fucking feet. It’s an absolute joke.
If any current non-big 6 teams get relegated and go down and down to the point of bankrolling themselves, I won't have a shred of sympathy for them and honestly hope it happens, sad for the fans but they deserve it after that shameful vote.
Convenient that they don’t complain when the champions league expands adding guaranteed fixtures, or brand new competitions like the conference league. Honestly, how often do they even get replays? A prem team will only have to get through 4 rounds where a replay is possible. So a max of 4 extra games, which I bet has never even happened before. and frankly if they can’t get the job done against a league 2 team in 90 mins then they only have themselves to blame. And then obviously the fact that they are going to be playing a mix of bench players and youth players in these games makes their excuses hollow.
If the ‘big six’ want a European Super League, they should also take Everton, Villa, Newcastle, and West Ham with the . Because let’s face it. The only reason the latter group of clubs opposed the ESL, is they were annoyed they weren’t included in the first place.
