In 60 yrs even in our worst ( and there have been many ) seasons we never really got hammered like this season, that’s why it’s the worst season EVER , I thought Wilder might have tightened the defence but he a can’t do it with this lot , complete overhaul needed for next season, selling our best players and the lack of good experienced Premier league defenders was our main downfall.
Archer is going as there is a clause that it United went down Villa can buy him back. Brooks is a good youngster as well. I don't think there is a chance of us bouncing straight back.

I think the chances of back to back relegations are likely, knowing they are getting a 2 point deduction next season. Wilder staying not too sure, excited to see Benie Traore next season, he will be class.
Honesty I think we will give it a good go. I could see us in the play-offs. People are forgetting just how big the gap is between the EFL and PL. Our players are not bad players, they just aren't premier league level players. Arblaster is our best player by miles, probably pushing England's squad in a few years and is too good for the championship. Hamer is a proven top championship level player. Trusty was Birmingham's best player last season. Throwing a few quality frees and loans in that is a good enough squad. None of the teams that come down will spend a lot, Burnley spent heavily this season and will have to sell so many assets to even think of spending. Luton are im the same boat as us with not enough money to have to spend. Forest are a financial mess even with selling their best assets. Not forgetting we have one of the best acadamies in the country at the moment, a few more talents tipped off to have successful careers who could make the jump now. I predict 3rd-6th and a play-off finish. Depending on who comes down, I reckon we have a good shout.
As a Cov fan, I was gutted and annoyed they pinched Hamer (especially as the season had already started). Feel bad for him because from what I've heard the sheff united fans don't rate him at all. Just shows the gulf from yoyoing up to the prem compared to the top half of the championship. The Blades have angled the poorest Dubai Prince on the planet. The budget to sign up new players was a joke ! We all new at the end of last season that we were doomed.. I still don't know how they manged to win three matches and draw against the likes of BHA, Bournemouth and AV away and Chelsea, Fulham and West Ham at home. They "only" conceded 2 goals against Man City away and Liverpool at home. Other teams did a lot worse. So in fact, there were some decent results, but overall they were not good enough.

Best players sold late in the window, new signings unfit, loans ill thought out, all compounded by season long injuries to key defensive players including Baldock, Eagan and Basham. No squad depth hit hard late in games and particularly the huge added time like at Spurs when winning 1-0 then 14 minutes added time and Spurs brought on 3 internationals to score 90+8 and 90+10 when Blades legs had gone. Next game and no strikers, no defence, no confidence and no hope against Newcastle. The season continued ...............

TBF and I'm gonna be brutally honest with you all only 3 of the south Yorkshire clubs have had good seasons Barnsley, Doncaster and Sheffield Wednesday in terms of not getting relegated Sheffield wednesday got very lucky to stay up under Danny rohl using the squad which was old to it's full strength. Doncaster had a good fight this season but sadly didn't get to the league 2 playoff final. Barnsley put up a fight but couldn't get back to the championship. Sheffield united and Rotherham have been poor. I'm from Sheffield myself but I don't really support them.
Blades have been shit this season but osula has had games and could be ok in champ. Brooks forced his way in team arblaster maybe jebbinson that’s 4 youth players .
