Nice review mate, the stadium might be a little dated but it still looks great and can generate an atmosphere like few others when full. The pay on the day prices are way too expensive thanks to Mr Chansiri. Hopefully on the pitch there will be better times ahead under Danny Rolh.
Thanks a mill John, I can definitely see how regular match-going fans would find the prices too expensive, which is a shame. As you said, if the results on the pitch improve, ye have the fanbase and strength in the squad overall to use that momentum and reach safety this year. Glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching man. Wishing ye the best for the remainder of the season ⚽️
Great video ! Superbly filmed and presented. Hillsborough is a lovely traditional stadium however it is showing its age, with certain parts of the ground in desperate need of upgrading. The entire stadium could do with a fresh coat of paint. 🦉⚽️
Thanks for the kind comment mate. Glad you enjoyed watching. Yeah, I agree it would be great to see a bit more investment go into the ground to improve the matchday experience even more.
I've been a Wednesday fan sice 1964. Seen the good and the bad but Owls forever! ... Cheers from Las Vegas, Nevada... P.S. Great vid looking forward to more.
Ah that's brill! Your like me so, you like to stay until the very end! 🙂 I'd say you have had some v good nights at the Kop end💪. Onwards and upwards now hopefully
Really enjoyed the video. Like you i love the anthem. Its amazing when the grounds full. Shame it is 'infamous' now. Back in 1989, Hillsborough was considered one of the safer grounds, hence the many semi-finals. Unfortunately, the Hillsborough disaster was the epitome of the Swiss cheese theory of disaster. Very sad.
The kop standing used to hold 22k making it at the time the largest kop in Europe. You missed the marker at south stand of the flood height - unbelievable. Great vid .
Now danny rohl is in charge hopefully we might have a chance of getting some decent results given his history of clubs he's been assistant manager of. Loved the review mate and glad you enjoyed your time at the stadium!
Great video, glad you had a good time at Hillsborough, regardless of the not so great match or atmosphere. Been a tough season so far, but like you said, positive signs now we have Danny Rohl in charge. Onwards and upwards! WAWAW!
Thanks mate, absolutely, hope ye guarantee safety this year and then build from there to be a strong contender in the Championship again 💪 your fans deserve it for the continued support through the hard years
great video mate, glad u enjoyed ur trip to hillsborough, great research and facts however the corner stand hasn’t had any capacity since the promotion match in 2012. the prices are ridiculous especially for the football we had to endure under xisco but with danny at the helm hopefully it’s a lot better and i’m sure we will stay up🦉
Ah..thanks for sharing the info on the corner stand, I didn't see anything in my research on that point so appreciate that. Definitely positive changes made so really hope ye stay up and build something special from here. Thanks for the kind comment.
@@gottawander it was something else. I personally think it was only just beaten by Peterborough comeback because of 1st leg score & it was a night match

Hillsborough got a bad reputation through inadequate police supervision, and the over anxiety of fans to get in the ground (including some without tickets)
Fully agree with the first part 👍 The over anxious fans and trying to get in without a ticket, this is common place for a lot of big football matches every year at stadiums worldwide yet nothing like this tradgedy occurred anywhere before or since. Thanks for watching.
It was very impressive. I love the sound created and the look of those large single stands so thanks for the info about Wolves. Will have to experience a matchday there as well so🍻💪
@@gottawander yes i love too the single stands in england thete are a lot , also in championship stadiums, i love the stadiums is my passion, sorry for my english i m not einglish

Absolutely, you definitely won't be stuck for a drink in this stadium. Jeez, hard to believe they ran out of beer by half time!! Hopefully they have fixed that now because having a few beers and enjoying the game is one of life's small pleasures ⚽️🍻
Looked legit early on anyway👍 Not sure if the same could be said when they got busy later on in the evening though! 😄Cheers for watching another matchday John.
Wednesday played at Bramall Farm before you existed, you're our stadium reject, the nickname Blades we ditched too. Nothing original about you, unless you called yourselves the fork and spoons and turned out in polka dot blouses and pig brooch. That'd make you original.@@grahamhobson4091
Updated the title 👍 Hopefully you watched the video in full as I wanted to give the infamous title, then the actual video itself shows how its not the case at all and how historic and beautiful the place is, hence changing some people's opinions about the place but I also take on board feedback from fans like yourself too.

Fencing went up as a result of Liverpool’s antics in Europe. If they had behaved better in European matches the disaster might never had occurred
