There is no way I would touch open makeup or expired your looking for nothing but a big lawsuit if something happens with it.open perfume is a little different as it's alcohol based and usually never goes bad
Dave! You need to make hay when the sun shines. If the opportunity to buy something good is there you should do it! Don’t beat yourself up if you do, you have a family to support. Love the channel.
We do not have returns turned on in our eBay store. If someone claims INAD then whatever, we follow the eBay policy, but allowing people to return whatever they want on their buy, try, and return mindset to me is just foolishness. We like using eBay but this is why Poshmark is King to us.
Very beginning of the video, but I don’t just watch to see what sold. I also enjoy watching u find items needed and just going ab ur eBay business, so even if it was reorganizing strategies while giving experiences, It’s all good!
Mama picker for the win! Love that! Tina best of luck with your store, I love shipping easy light items, I totally see the appeal of that as I look at that plate / dish that mama picker found.
Dave 🎉love ur Channel! Dave, that was almost like what happened to me I sold some make up and the lady did a return request saying she bought too many and then she had to ship it off at a certain time ..Guess what the return closed because she never shipped it yay!!! For me 🎉🎉🎉🎉 probably they won’t ship it out …Like what happened to me.. you never know 🤷🏻♀️
You can state that you are paying for x item and extra piece will be sent along with it as a free bonus. That way they aren’t paying for the extra item and isn’t returnable.
You're not wrong about that. I would never buy a collectible from Dave, but I would also say that same about most RUclips reselers. They way Dave manadles carded Hot Wheels and action figures annoys me more than the way he constantly mispronounces "Oneida."
Be super careful about that makeup. "Listings for used cosmetics, sponges, or applicators are not allowed. This includes products such as skin moisturizers, sunscreens, perfumes, lipsticks, fingernail polishes, eye and facial makeup preparations, shampoos, permanent waves, hair colors, toothpastes, and deodorants". If it's open/unsealed it's probably a no go.
@@kellyredinger5974 probably, the quote above is directly from the ebay policy page. It's really not a good idea to sell any used cosmetics, and especially creams, because of all of the health and safety issues. Would be really sad to see a new seller scared off right out the gate on the basis of policy violation.
I could go either way on the "driveway = cheap" argument but unmarked/unpriced = cheap is a hill I'm willing to die on. If you (the seller) didn't think enough of it to even assign a price, don't expect me to pay top dollar.
I found a stack of Swarovski jewelry this weekend, my first time sourcing in like 6 weeks as I cleaned out/up and tried other options Don't refund the shipping on the ordered by accident. And yes keep all you can.
Hey Dave, for the super expensive makeup, may I suggest an "unboxing" video on RUclips? It may not come in a box, but if u look up an unboxing or review on that particular product, u can sometimes see exactly how it comes before it gets used. Just a thought... ✌️💜✌️💜
Stop with the automatic returns! That’ll help.. and maybe with such high priced items, make it no returns if that’s possible so buyers have to make sure they really want what they’re buying and you won’t get scammed, especially since you have the comic graded with all the paperwork etc. there’s no excuse for it to be returned in my humble opinion.
I often wonder if people that buy used tools, use them for what they need them for, clean them up and put in for a return. I sure hope that isnt what is happening. And golf clubs sure do seem to be a problem
Be careful having multiple eBay accounts with the same address, from my experience two isn't necessarily an issue unless they have suspicious activity but three at one address causes problems with eBay red flags it was weird. This was a few years ago now but still an odd experience overall since we weren't doing anything wrong or suspicious. It was resolved rather quickly in our favor.
There isn't really a way to place a different comic in the CGC case without damaging the case. There was a reholdering scandal recently but that won't affect you. He might have been trying to crack.and improve the comic and once he got it realized it was already cleaned and pressed.
That return actually sucks. I'm dealing with a $830 dollar return right now on a 60 pound pair of speakers. UPS threw them and made a slight mark on the side and the buyer wants nothing but a return. $160 return shipping.
@@sandylynn1912 correct, but insured on pirateship. Shipsurance requires the item to not be sent back to the seller. In other words, I either have to get it sent back and void the insurance, or go ahead and refund the $800 order and hope for the best the insurance goes through. I’m not taking my chances on this one.
I shipped 2 speakers separately cost $100 per speaker. 95lbs each. Buyer paid shipping. UPS caused damage to one speaker. The buyer was so ticked, he opened a return "Item not as described" and forced me to pay for return shipping. Another $200. Plus I had to reimburse original shipping. So now I have $400 out of my pocket in shipping. THEN 2 weeks later UPS sends me a message saying my dimensions were off by 4 inches, making the package oversized and charged to another $200. UPS was 100% wrong. I still had one of the speakers in the box and could prove without a doubt my measurements were correct, so UPS gave me that $200 back. So I decided to completely disassemble and part them and sold all the speakers, grills, crossovers, etc for more money than the original sale AND way easier to ship.
Why are people assuming Tina wants to sell used makeup? I dont think Dave said anything like that. I think we all should know she has a brain on her shoulders. Used perfume is ok but of course not makeup.
You may have already gotten this comment 100 times, but you don't get charged for the return label until it is used. So on the golf club just tell them to keep it and not send it back if you don't want it back. Obviously, there is always the chance they are just fishing for a partial... in which case you can wait them out....
Congratulations Tina for your new store! I dont wear makeup anymore but will share your store on my social media!
Congrats to Tina!!! Your new store is going to be fantastic, and I'm super excited for you!!
Be careful selling open makeup I do not think you can sell open or expired makeup

I bet that guy with the comic book bought that without telling his wife and she made him return it
And the reason why I do not do free shipping is when a customer changed their mind, why should I lose money because of it.
The Goonies in theater!! Awesome!
I'll let you know. I like your RUclips show you doing a very good job.
Keep up the good work of reselling in the content.

Dave, you cannot charge a restocking fee. eBay changed that policy about four years ago.
So proud ofTina! Have fun on your vacation 🥰

The "Health and Beauty" category on eBay is a minefield (ask Lindey Glen).

Dave, do not refund the shipping on that comic! If he paid $300 more than he meant to, well, he has too much money!
I never refund shipping
