Tiffany from Thrifting Vegas says to put glass with wax in it in the freezer and it will pop out. Well, it for real works as I did that. On some vintage home interior votive cups I put on a pan with parchment paper under them in 2 or 3 layers, placed in a toaster over at 150 degrees for a few minutes and when took it out I let it cool a bit then wiped it out with a paper towel. Cleaned up beautifully 💚💚💚💚. Take care.
Italian pottery is often genuinely marked with the handwritten "Italy" and it does look like messy sharpie marker. It's in fact, a mark of a good quality piece.
3:54 lovely vase & you will feel so relieved to have your truck paid for. It’s such a huge weight off your shoulders to know those monthly payments are no more!!! 😉 16:40 gorgeous color 20:25 our Goodwills no longer provide plastic bags - we have to use reusable bags or carry our stuff out without bags.
Hi Sonny..Ive been binge watchong Mikeys videos and now starting to watch yours. Very informative and enjoyable. I love down to earth people like yourselves. Ty for sharing. ❤
To get wax out of glass, carefully use anything that you avoid scratching the glass with and remove as much wax as you can, after that just set the water under the how water faucet and the HOT water will remove the rest. It will leave a slight film. But you can just polish that out with a rag, paper towel etc. I have done this NUMEROUS times.
Man..my blow dryer literally just gave out. Many are saying to place it in the freezer. Your advice is another method I’ll try. I come across a handful of items with wax.
@@SonnyLasVegas freezer could work, but just make sure you don't shock it too soon after taking it out with hot water or anything. You know glass doesn't like sudden temp changes. ;) Blessings. I'm sure you'll get it out. Just be patient when cleaning it too, so don't slip and break a piece. I think the freezer would work. It will make the wax shrink up and pop out and then you can typically wash residue left out, but yeah, just don't put hot water on it if it's freezing.
I had seen you thrifting on other videos with your friends, and I found your channel and subscribed. I love watching these type of videos, they encourage me to want to do it too. I'm an older woman and am disabled, so I'm not fit to get around to thrift, but I hope too when my husband retires to help. ❤ your channel and I hope for you to reach that goal so you can pay on the truck you want. God Bless Yoʻu...
❤️ thank you for joining me. Thrifting has been a great practice that’s helped me reach personal goals and has a lot of benefits. I’ve always thought of it beneficial keeping the brain working learning new things every visit. It’s a lot of fun and a healthy venture to get out and about. I look forward to hearing about your thrifting journey when your husband retires. I wish both of you both much joy and fun together treasure hunting.
6:01 Nope. That is an italian PITCHER not tea pot, lol. Pretty famous form for an italian made pottery pitcher, the rooster. Great piece. Market is saturated with them now though, but for that size, if not chipped, you could make possibly $50 on that.
SONNY, You are a hard-working man. And some you set up to do what you want to do, you stay at it. Almost almost there, keep going, Sweetie, you're gonna make it real soon.😊😊😊😊😊
Sometimes you find the best stuff on the bottom shelf At times I always believe in taking your time and not getting into big of a hurry When you get in a hurry You miss things
Hi Sonny, LOL! I bought the candle holders with the cute ducks. I saw them when I was cashing out, thought they were so cute. Have fun treasure hunting!
Hi Alma, thank you for joining us. I list $300 or more items nearly daily. Lately I’ve been taking at least one day off to prevent feeling overwhelmed. What helps me keep on track is focusing on a goal. Once I accomplish it I create a new one. What do you like to resell?
Some bigger items I believe in buying But I think you made the right call with that blue piece I don't think it was worth enough to justify the space and self as enough
Wax removal? The quickest and easiest way to rid your glass of wax is by placing the item in the freezer then after over night or a few hours, pop out the wax. Easy Peasy!
Very nice black panther very good buy But yes I would have bought it if it wasn't better condition there is still money to be made but I wouldn't take a chance of getting knocked
Jennifer Fisher's jewelry sells well, but only vase of hers I see sold was nothing like this one. No sold comps on this piece exist that I can see. The only vase of hers I see sold on poshmark for possibly $150.
90 Seconds into your video you picked up the carnival glass $5 owl and you commented it would only sell for around $30 online then returned it back to the shelf. Not enough profit for your reselling business??? I was one of those thrift store customers that shop thrift stores because I needed their help to put clothes on my children. Now Goodwill is too expensive for me to shop in anymore. I depend on the kindness of strangers having garage sales for help.
Sometimes it’s just not vibing with me. I hate it don’t hit keeps money in my pocket for something I get excited about even if it’s not for big profits. I see value differently.
Sonny, The Same Thing Happened to Us this Past Weekend and the Individuals wouldn't move and it made it Almost Impossible to Film as they were ending up in Every Clip we were Trying to Film! Love the Marble Vase - AWESOME FIND - Hubby and I are going to Keep an Eye Out for Those! Love Your Channel!
That’s unfortunate you had to deal with people making it hard on each other. It’s just thrifting, shouldn’t be any fuss or fight. I’ve seen a few arguments in the past, but nothing severe in months.
I was pinned in several times by them and two guys. I just see it as learning how to be patient. I used to be really dark and rage easily. Not so much anymore.
Great channel bud. I go out thrifting with my mom and we watch your show on regular ✌
I am honored! What state are ya out of? Tell your mom I said hi 👋🏼 😊

Exactly what I was going to suggest. Do this all the time for my wax melt warmers.
Italian pottery is often genuinely marked with the handwritten "Italy" and it does look like messy sharpie marker. It's in fact, a mark of a good quality piece.
Thank you Juls. I’ll for sure remember this 😊
Precious Moments- What are you going to do with that!? You're too funny 😅

06:50 As you shine your UV light on the candlestick, I believe the object BEHIND the candlestick was a Glassybaby votive cup.
Watching Crazy Lamp Lady often helps educate us on what is what and what to look for. That was the Italy mark on that rooster pitcher.
I couldn’t agree more. Jocelyn is amazing!
Love CLL the OG of resellers 😊
Hi Sonny..Ive been binge watchong Mikeys videos and now starting to watch yours. Very informative and enjoyable. I love down to earth people like yourselves. Ty for sharing. ❤
Put a smidgen of dawn dish liquid in the candle holder and rinse with hot water. I use this method with waxy candle jars all the time
Put the candle holder in the freezer to freeze the wax and it will pop right out.
Thank you Tammie. You and many others recommend the same pointer. I’ll do that next time.
Maravilloso video, felicidades. Bendiciones desde Merida Yucatan Mexico ✌️
Gracia amiga ❤️
Thanks for sharing you shopping trips
Thank you for visiting!
I have a black panther like that, very old ceramic with a planter and back it is awesome
I thought it was resin, but wasn’t positive. Thank you Janice. It’s an amazing piece rain or wood.
you are almost there Sonny !!! good for you
So close!
Go Sonny go!!!
Almost there!!!!

Great video! I love that color blue (the vase!)
Thank you! 😊
Great job Sonny, so close on the truck!!👍#resellercartel 🌵🤠🌵🤠🌵
🏴☠️Reseller Cartel strikes again 🙌🏻
8:58 put some low heat on it like in hot water or hair dryer and it should slide out easily. Then wash it good with a degreasing cleaner like Dawn.

I always enjoy your videos. They are informative and fun. Also watch your Vlog when I get a chance. From Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 almost paid off Sonny!
Still got a ways to go!

That was a Italy signature 😊
Ahhhh
It’s ok. That was a big chip on its head.

Omg I love that green glass gourd. Blinko
I do like the Mexican taco holder Is beautiful hand painted made in Mexico
It had a few scratches and the price wasn’t for me. I would of got it for less.
I like that RHINO! Nie haul brother!
Hi Sonny, LOL! I bought the candle holders with the cute ducks. I saw them when I was cashing out, thought they were so cute. Have fun treasure hunting!
Did Cesar tell you about the other thrift store opening up near us? 🤫
@@SonnyLasVegas No, he didn't, lol🤗
I’ll tell you when I see ya gain.
I'm happy for you ☺️ 😊 🙂
Thank you ❤️😊🎉
I do like to buy mystery jewelry Sometimes you find best stuff wher everybody overlooks it and junks it in a jar
I haven’t found jewelry in a while.
Niceee blue vase
Use a hairdryer to get wax out of candleholders
Also, if it's a big hunk you can put it in the freezer for a while and it will pop right out !
Hi Sonny! Goals!!
I love that the jeans/denim prices have increased because I am now finding more inventory on $1 day.
The good ole waiting game 👌🏼
Check those black panther rates, I think CLL would have picked that one up.
Hi ! New sub ! How many items do you list daily ? Love this content , I need to start going into the hard good section ! Ty

Jocelyn CLL , has not found a glassy baby yet too.
Bur harlene of Picker Road ,has found 2 in Vegas! 😊
Greattttt

Hi Judith! So many have commented freezing it to where I can’t forget trying that from now on. Thank you 😊
Very nice black panther very good buy But yes I would have bought it if it wasn't better condition there is still money to be made but I wouldn't take a chance of getting knocked

Don’t know about JF until finding the vase. I like reselling jewelry too. I’ll find some eventually.
I like your body camara quality. Which cam do you use I want to make videos unrelated to this
It’s a GoPro 10 black, there are newer versions out and a chest harness I got from Amazon.
Dude, I barely recognized you with your hair back 😊.
Really? Well, now that I think about it, it’s usually tied back on my vlog channel.
That cobalt vase is just a water bottle that was stretched.
They did a good job stretching it then. Didn’t looked stretched at all.
I have one of those cobalt bottles 😊
They’re really pretty!
Fushia pink
😊🥰
7:00 is that a glassy baby?
Wish it was. I’ll find many in time 😊
I always say, if it’s meant for me, I’ll end up with it.🤷♀️
Absolutely ❤️😊
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉

0:25 I see AT LEAST $600 right there in the cases behind you, bra. WHY ARE YOU NOT SELLING THOSE? 😊
I am 😉
People who cut you off in stores, are rude, I would of turned the other way, as you did, sonny.
I was pinned in several times by them and two guys. I just see it as learning how to be patient. I used to be really dark and rage easily. Not so much anymore.
@SonnyLasVegas wow, some people just want to make you annoyed, and cut you off, if I had to say something, I would just think it
@user-Icicleandfireball Why not just say, excuse me, can I get around? Where I live, you pretty much have to do that.
@avalondreaming1433 I can say that, too, so that way I'm not being rude about it.
I just pour boiling water in things to get candle wax out
Who cares if the glass glows ?
4:22 Dude, I didn't see them intentionally cut you off. You assume WAY WAY too much.
I guess you assume much too 🤣. It was way before that clip. I leave out a lot of things, but true story.
Better off at a FLEA MARKET.
Stop your whining already and just sell!!!
🤣
Use a hairdryer to get wax out of candleholders
