Russia is our friendly country and we love the Russians.your Vedio is well made with pure travel and showing all stations between Vlodivostok and Moscow. Barren lands ,frozen rivers, snow covered railway tracks and pine trees are a treat for the eyes.We have visited length and breadth of Russia without expenses.Gid bless you and Russia.❤
Excellent series: a second-class trip, quiet, without any sensationalism, which brings us closer to the daily life of regions so distant for a Western European.
Nagyon szép helyeken megy a vonat . Elmennék a elejétől végéig Moszkvától Vlagyi- vosztokig és vissza
This is the best series on Russian train travel that I've seen online so far
There's a thing that might be really interesting, especially for non-Russian viewers.
The car seen at 5:44 (yellow and gray one) is literally a church car that travels alongside rural areas to provide service for people living in places without churches. It has "St. Nicholas the Wonderworker church car" written on the sides.
Also, these distant railways carry old soviet EMUs converted to a small market with few shops and stores selling basic produce where it is unavailable. Usually it's bread, meat, fish, veggies and fruits, canned food, porridges, and some basic home stuff like soap, matches, etc
Thats nice..ive been to Russia just once. Had an amazing holiday. Took the train from Murmansk to St. Petersburg. I found itseadier to meet Russian folk if traveling in 2nd class as the 1st class compartments are an enclosed thingy. But the only downside was the train restaurant with a limited menu. But then i bought amazing smoked fishes at one of the stops.
Evgeny Zhytnyuk
Clocked that immediately. Have go inside one sometime.
Comforting to see that God's Army marches on to defeat spiritual darkness wherever it is.
That's interesting to know. I was under the impression that Russia is still under Communist Rule.
My favourite station when I travelled the Trans-Siberian railway 1984 was Ulan-Ude. The station name was in real neon tubes in Cyrillic cursive! Outside the station house there was a bush cut like a bear holding flowers in its arms!
At 29:55, "belokaskiye" or "belokasotshniki" (white kask people) means senior workers and officials. Ordinary workers are wearing orange- colored kasks. Actually, the quarrel was not about to fight, just to dispute who is more important, senior workers or ordinary workers. So just an ordinary Russian drunk philosophical conversation. 😊

Thanks for the explanation. Ridding the Siberia Express is on my travel bucket

Of course I like the beauty of the nature between vladivostok to moskwa (on spring season), riding this train even _the siberian train_ not to fast as like _the japanese sinkansen bullet train_ txu so much of your sharing video ....👍
best train travel channel.. i do really enjoy your videos.. great 👍🏼

-9с - bitterly cold? Oh, my sweet summer child)
very interesting travel video
You’ve done an excellent job! Looking forward to the remaining videos in the series!
Hi from Buryatia! Nice video!
But...
1)From Ulan-Ude to Chita by railroad- 554 km;
2)Bada air force base closed in 1990-th.
Everything else is correct))
And sorry for my english)
Your english is fine
I have watched all nine videos many times and still enjoy it. One question, why a winter journey instead of spring or summer? Thanks again, I enjoy much
The "music" in the restaurant car drives people away.
Hi👋 I'm from India

Lock down days.
¡Gracias!
Simply hooked onto this series . Fantastic journey and equally fantastic coverage.
Perfect as always...thank you for uploading!
Just love it . Awesome. 👍. Even the lowest voice details... nostalgic. Trains..! Great job.
Sometimes the frames felt little too long. Negligible. Nice work.
- with love from kerala, India. ❤
really good. pleased to travel with you again. thank you
Excellent video, very informative, crystal clear pictures, well done, I'm very satisfied, keep it up. Looking forward to seeing more videos like this, my friend

good trip
Love it! On to number four.
Thanks for the great video. Very informative. I'll be doing the Trans-Mongolian this summer in the opposite direction. Definitely -the- number one train journey in the world.
oki; but the trans-mongolian train is not covering the chita - ulan ude section
@@doc7austin via ulan ude
thank you for your geography and history lessons :)
Like it waiting for part 4
how many parts are there?
10 parts: 1. Vladivostok - Belogorsk 2. Belogorsk - Chita 3. Chita - Ulan-Ude 4. Ulan-Ude - Irkutsk 5. Irkutsk - Novosibirsk 6. Novosibirsk - Tiumen 7. Tiumen - Ekaterinburg 8. Ekaterinburg - Moscow 9. Moscow - St. Petersburg 10. St. Petersburg - Helsinki
thanks, more than I expected
Great job! Excellent videos , looking forward to the remaining in the series!
Two-tone gray and red stripe livery looks a lot more up to date than somber greens and blues.
wow ,ur all 3 videos from vladivostok till udan were so much extensive ,so lovely to see the country land of russia from your lens,,waiting to reach moscow via ur lens... :-) :-P ...want to live this long beautiful journey myself too
dear Friend love it. Really enjoyed. Thumbs up.
Wishing you good health and beautiful Time.
God bless you.
Thank you, we enjoyed watching, it was a Very well made video and interesting to watch. We look forward to seen part 4 and more👍👍👍
Excellent video , very informative. I would love to do this trip one day .
30:08 He said Belo-kasochniki. Which means white helmets, lol. For example, on construction sites white helmets are worn by bosses.
I think he was referring to the British-sponsored group "White Helmets" - consisting of terrorists. They made staged shots in Syria, passing off these shots as the atrocities of Assad and the Russian army.
When all their affairs began to creep to the surface, the founder of the "movement" "White Helmets" - James Le Mesurier, suddenly fell out of a window in Constantinople (Istanbul).
Thanks for making videos
Marvellous , thank you very much
Did you notice that red line on gray colored infrastructure popping up all the way? It's stylish feature of RZHD (Russian Railroads) which represents railroads as bloodlines of a country. I like this idea very much!
Great video. Very informative. The journey itself looks quiet with long stretches of barren uninhibited land. Hope you can also do one showing the people and the happenings during the train ride.
This is not a barren land, barren in the Sahara...
All 3 parts most fascinating and awesome footage. Looking forward to seeing part 4.
Super and spectacular views.....wen u upload part 4 eagerly awaiting...
Great great° thank you
Amazing journey, love it 😍
first class video

Perfect video, like
Yes a perfect vdo so nice

So the Restaurant Car doubles as a Bar Car? Too bad it doesn't stay open all night. If food service is cut I hope
the Trans-Siberian Railway keeps running the diner as a bar car serving drinks with music for socializing and dancing.
19:18 Distance between Chita and Ulan Ude cannot be 361 km as it is over 400 km as the crow flies.
How much was an average meal in the train restaurant ? Meat with potatoes ?
around EUR 5 a meal
Nice..............
i watching your video s from Romania. !
LOVELY
27:36 This is always a mystery to me too. The Trains can be so full, but only a few People use the Dining Car. I've experienced this everywhere, even where a Drink only cost $1. They Prefer to stand around in the Aisles because there are no Seats left
i guess most dining cars are being eliminated on russian long distance sleeper trains
@@doc7austin But that would really be a shame. Maybe but not those on the more luxurious Trains
You seem to love travelling by train. 🚊
Wonderful 👌👌👌
I'm enjoying the series thus far. I have a question; it was mentioned that the cost of the six night trip was 80 USD, but for what class ticket? I'd like to know the options. How much for 3rd class, how much for 2nd class, and how much for 1st class?
Vladivostok - Moscow (6.5 days) costs USD 170 in 3rd class (Platzkartny) and around USD 210 in 2nd class (Kupe); thats still pretty cheap
@@doc7austin That's incredible
Nice and interesting!!! waiting for the part 4| well and then... what thas mean "Bela Klaskie"? :)
Belye kaski - White helmets
I think this is the most depressive stretch. Permafrost is boring unleast it is snow :D
Awesome! Like!!!
Good new information. Can anybody tell, are the trains full loaded at the summertime, June - August? How about temperatures, which month is the hottest summer (normally)? I have to choose my traveling time soon.
best travel month would be May; it can get hot in the summertime; not all cars have a reliable working air conditioning unit; it might get hot and sticky inside; load factors are way higher during the summertime
Bela kaske means white helmet.
Have airlines eroded Trans-Siberian passenger traffic? What percentage of the train travelers travel all the way between Vladivostok and Moscow?
Sorry just one more query, why did you leave the earlier train at Chita ? Isn't that the train which would take you all the way till Moscow anyways ?

Looking at the railcars, they bear a striking resemblance to the 1937 and 1839 railcars on the "Hiawatha" Streamliners that ran between Chicago, IL and the Twin Cities in Minnesota
Nice video... I really enjoyed.
27:05 I thought we were witnessing a "Tsar Bomba" test. The wind noise (the sudden roar) and the growing sun glare was a bit alarming for a few seconds...
Congratulations
I'd love to see the First Class sleeper carriage. What is the difference in cost between First and Second Class ?
NiceTrack!!!
6 dni i 17 godzin na trasie o długości 9 998 km daje średnią prędkość niespełna 56 km/h.
Nie powala na kolana... Tak wielki kraj powinien mieć znacznie szybsze koleje. Sąsiad Rosji, Chiny, podobne warunki klimatyczne, niewiele mniejsze dystanse a średnie prędkości około 150 km/h.
Is power plant polluting the lake?
Do the noise barriers actually work?
foods on train are good
Would be nice to see inside a PlatzKart!
The bread doesn't look toasted.
Of course not. They don't normally toast bread in Russia.
Język ruski w swojej intonacji to skowyt ludzkiej rozpaczy.
Three trains - and all three cars are old. There are no new cars? I saw a lot of videos and people are traveling in new wagons. Run out of tickets?
these Kupe coaches are not old; thez were built in the early 2000s
Ususally new wagons come first to most popular routes like Kazan, Sochi... But to be honest these cars are good enough and sometimes are even better than new one.
At Vladivostok station, do you buy a straight ( one ticket) for Moscow? Or do you buy at each station where you change the train ?
Any idea how much is the price of straight ticket to Moscow from Vladivostok?
Thanks in advance for your reply.
Man, really, it's time to teach yourself how to use Google.
РЖД has very informative web site full of graphical info.
Thought since you had experience and you may know have more information , wanted hear from you the ACTUAL information.
Seems asked a wrong person. Do remember that sometimes google doesn’t give actual or complete information.

Do all the trains have windows that open? And whats the go with smoking at the back or something?
you cannot open the windows fully in about 95% of all carriages;
@@doc7austin - Hi, Do they open halfway? or only 1/4 the way?
some windows may have emergency air ventilation windows, which may only be opened by a half inch - not more
