RECOMMENDATION: When you do these fittings - try to start with the stock shaft offering as a baseline. It will give guys looking to purchase these an idea of how some of the stock shafts perform
This is by far is my favorite golf channel on RUclips. I just recently got fitted for a Ping 410 with the tour stiff 75 and a Evenflow 6.5, both shafts were great but they flattened out the lie angle and that's where I really noticed the difference. Went from carrying it around 285 on the standard setting to now carrying it around 300, 307 was my best. Needless to say my new Ping is being shipped as I speak.
Purchased the G410 driver and I got fitted on the shaft with Ping right here in Phoenix, AZ. Great thing about the fitting was that I was hitting much more stable shots in the Ping Tour shaft even though the launch was a little lower than desirable. We found a flaw in my delivery that I’m working on and the more I improve the more stable and perfect the Tour shaft is becoming. I greatly appreciated the expertise of the Ping rep who helped me through the fitting and truly listened to my input as much as what the numbers were telling us. It gave us a compromise. Highly recommend a good fitting!!
Hey Gents! 3 drives 336 yards, perfect draw, all within 2.8 yards of each other on the centerline. I'd say Driver fitting over! I just got fit for a driver for the first time and the Ping G410 plus was the one for me too with the alta, except I'm about 40 yards shorter on the distance and my swing doesn't look that nice. lol. Was really fun and informative watching this video and fitting. Thanks for making it available for us!
This video is yet ANOTHER reason why I LOVE this channel. Great test and I can’t wait to go and get fitted for the G410 and the Cobra F9. Once I get “dialed in”, I’m anxious to see which one performs better for me. Great job boys.....AGAIN!!!!!!
Great video guys! I love my G410 Plus. I have 9* with Evenflow Black 6.0. Have it in flat setting and weight in fade. I didn't cut it down to 44.5" so have 6 grams of lead tape on the bottom at the moment. Has eliminated my left miss completely and agree for me, one of the straightest drivers I've ever played.
I’m absolutely in love with my G410. I set mine with a ProjectX Evenflow Black shaft and not only does it perform beautifully, it looks just straight up mean behind the ball. Never thought I could bomb them 300, but now it’s a definite possibility.
Had a driver fitting this week. First time in 10 years. Tried TM, Mizuno, Callaway etc. Close call with Epic Flash but landed with G410, Tensei Orange. Only flying about 60 yards shorter than Mattie! 😂 Looking forward to putting it into play.
This is the driver my fitter just ordered for me from Ping. I was fitted to it with a 40 gram Distanza shaft 44 inches. Looking forward to getting it soon. Spider Dubiel
Went to get fitted for a new driver and was especially looking at the F9 but after trying F9, M5/6, Flash/flash sub zero it wasn't even close to the Ping G410+ which I didn't even have my eye on. I have 118 average driver swing speed and put the Ping in an Project X EvenFlow Black 75 with it set to fade which allowed me to hit a nice fade and eliminate the left side off the tee and couldn't be more impressed playing rounds with it. 10/10 forgiving, fast and far drives. Definitely give this a try if you are looking for a new driver. This is also the first ping club in my bag so not a Ping guy by any means. I think the F9 got a lot of hype early but this driver may end up being the King.
Wow! What a combo! That is seriously impressive and the best I have seen Matty hit a driver. Looking forward to seeing the driver head to head once everything is dialed in. I have done some brief testing myself and so far the flash sub zero is giving me consistently higher ball speeds and carry numbers. I'm a lot more limited with not much products and heads with my local pro mate but at least it's a monitor and some comparisons
I just did a Driver fitting 2 weeks ago. Ended up with a Ping G410 with the Fukjikura Pro 2.0 6s. It replaced my 18 year old TaylorMade 300 TI driver. I've played a couple of rounds with this new driver and wow what a difference. Of course just about anything modern would beat my old TaylorMade. Even so, getting fitted was an absolute must. What do you guys think about the stock shafts that come with the Ping Driver?
I love that you are making two pings in a row ur gamer driver. Ping just don’t mess around. Forget all the nonsense, fancy details and jargon bull. They just make stuff that works- from drivers to wedges to bags- it all does it’s job the way it should. And I only have 3 ping clubs (driver/3w/3H) - so I’m not a fan boy with all their gear by any means. But I have max respect for the ping boys and the quality they produce time after time. Bottom line: ping makes tools not toys. Functionality and substance over bells and whistles. 👌🏻💪🏼👍🏻
Just got fitted for it. I was hitting 250-260 before. With this Ping I hit 3 straight drives in the simulator 290. I’m only 5’7. 101 mph swing. Excited to take it out
Just within a demo day session I was fitted into the G410 to hit super consistent, very tight dispersion with a small draw. Crazy consistent driver. Wish the aesthetics were better on it though.
Fantastic as always.... I really need to have my driver combination ( G400 Max - Aldila Rogue 110 MSI Silver 60 S ) checked and some other shafts tested. It's was in my Ping G and moved over after the Kuro Kage Silver was a fail.
I want you to fit me for clubs. Absolutely never seen anyone understand the process like you. I have watched the factory fitters on other channels they don’t have the knowledge you do. Just awesome. If I ever get to where I can afford it I WILL drive from Kentucky to Canada to have you fit me.
Just had a generic Ping fitting and ended up with the even flow black, can’t help but feel like I have been short changed as that kind of fitting is as good as it gets with the limited shaft options available on a demo day
Great to see a super shaft in the beginning and then coming back to it at the end proving that it is the shaft to use. The dispersion was carpet size. I am sure that every viewer "got mad" how you continued "finding" another shaft when such shaft was delivering the goods. Then, it was very clear that IT was IT!
I am currently gaming the 410 with the tensei orange tx70 with the driver set -1.5 flat and the weight in the toe. I was fit by a ping rep in the area and it has changed my driving a ton. This driver eliminated the left side of the golf course and allowed me to get to scratch. Not a better driver in the market and I have never been a ping fan before this year. All clubs in the bag now are ping the scores continue to drop. Matt you need to bag this thing now and forget about that hook forever!
Great video guys. Would like to have seen you use the flat lie feature of this head vs toe weight. I don't think could have got a better result but just a different way of getting there.
Love that I got fit into the Fuji Pro 2.0 TS and Matt hits it well too. Not sure why, just makes me feel like I'm just like Matt Haha (less 10mph head speed)
Really enjoyed watching the process, the subtle changes and difference they made. My next driver/clubs will definitely be fitted, thanks for your efforts. Matt should use this combination of driver shaft, distance times dispersion will struggle to match.
I use a ping 400 max and it is the first time I was fitted for a stiff but my average distance is 230 with roll out to 250 I would love to be in the 270 280 range the shaft I use is the stock color changing shaft where is a good start that wont break the bank ball spead right now is about 127 and swing speed is about 105 to 109 max
Excellent video the dispersion on the fujikura 1°open with the wieght in the toe was incredible, I was very surprised when you open the face 2° and put the wieght in the standard position because the numbers appear to be nearly identical so my question is why. Was it for more control I'm very curious.......
Matt you weren't kidding when you were saying the 410 plus was a contender against your lst. You got me wondering if this can beat my lst out of the bag.

The Fuji shaft that fit Matty perfectly is half the cost of his current gamer as well. This speaks to TXG finding the best shaft for the player...not what is best for them!
What happened to the mizuno st190 or the F9 speed back I thought they were your new favorites. Nice to have the best fitter in the business at your fingertips, so envious.
think a blue ventus 6x velocore would fit me. med transition 110 ss... just for reference. the evenflow black 70g stiff seems a bit dull and loose. smoke 70 6.5 feels like a board. i recently hit the 6s black and it seemed great for me as well but i have a chance to get 6x blue.
Amazingly Dispersion,Great flight and tightly grouped.. I think your holding your gamer Matty... Really would like to see a review of the Taylormade Mini.
Good enough absolutely, the best...? Don’t know until you test, learned that from you 👍 Not at all criticizing the total fit, I’m more interested for my own data points. I’ve found similar gains by playing the higher balance point Pro Orange. Love the content
Hi guys, does giving all of us out there all this information on club fitting help or hinder us that can't visit TXG? As in, does this give us a preconceived idea of how a fitting should go and we might be trying to tell a fitter what we might need, when in reality we don't.
Fujikura TS suits Matt very well. What's interesting though, is Matt's swing. His back swing has gotten a little shorter and more compact, or is this the so called "course swing" ? I'm so in love with my G400 LST, nothing more suitable for me. I will have to test the new G410 and see if it's worth buying. Thanks for the great video.
Great review/fitting, showing what is possible if you commit to the fitting. 👍 But I have one question regarding the spine of a shaft. A few years back, fitters would Prisen themselves of being able to line up the spine of a shaft perfectly to the head to generate the perfect performance. As nowadays you tinker around with lofts a player would lose the perfect alignment of head and shaft. When you do the fitting would you line up the spine to the best setting? And if yes, why is there a need for adjustable drivers? Thank you and all the best, Holger
Vice versa really when it applies to sleeves... Their not labeled as + or - face angle. Their labeled as loft. So if I adjust my driver down 1* it opens the face 1*?
Great demo. While it's incredibly forgiving, would most higher handicap players achieve greater consistency of distance off the tee with the G410 3 wood? Cheers for any feedback and experience. Simon in Melbourne.
I’m sure you do Ian. Hope the Easter Bunny arrives on your doorstep. Picking up my Hot Metal Pros from Chris and the boys in Burlington tomorrow AM, so the Easter Bunny is arriving early!
I'm tempted to try the G410 from the G400 Max. 3000 spin in the wind isn't doing my any favors. Any plans on hitting the Ping G410 Crossover? Looking to move away from the G400 4H and then swith the 3H for a G410 3H .
@@ianfrasergolf thank you so much for your time. I don't know if you realize what it means for you guys to take the time to respond. I am playing the Alta shaft so maybe that's part of it. Always learning!
I can't imagine anything beating out this combo for Matty. Those numbers are ridiculous. Any comment on why the 6x over the 7x? I was fit for 7x(in the M5) and dont have near Matt's swing speed.
It would be interesting to see a video where you test smaller cc driver heads and whether you see any advantages. Especially for someone with Matt's swing speed.

Ian Fraser 💯👊🏼
In the Jonzone that particular shaft has been tipped 0.5” and plays 45”
In the Jonzone all our demo shafts are the same tipping, 0.5”
Ian Fraser i’m guessing the tipping is to account for the added weight of your universal adaptor?
Those results are insane! I don't think I've ever been so impressed with a club test. Well done fellas!

Watching from Mobile, AL. Greatest thing North of the Wall since Hockey Playoffs!
bought and played this club today. best I've ever driven the ball.

What is the brand of the blue shirt you are wearing? Love the front pockets.
Low torque makes a huge difference if you're a "late hitter" vs. "swinger" on off-center hits because it reduces "gear effect".
I was rooting for the Kuro Kage! 😂

Can you explain the loft sleeve? do all of the settings flatten the lie angle? How many degrees do the settings change the lie angle?
Morning Gents. Any word on when LST version will be out?

And how about that tasty 335-yard line ball at 22:55
I saw it too. I think they didn't want to post it yet.
Not sure boys, maybe Matty can chime in on that.
Jesus that's good! Well done guys!

Re. a flatter lie on driver. Does it impact strike location mostly in the high/low or toe/heel direction ?
Cedric Etienne Hannedouche lol, it doesn’t move it away from the toe if that what your asking!! 😉😂😂😂
Ian Fraser no idea what you're referring to, hahaha
Curious why you didn’t try the Ventus?
Joe Trovero completely different profile from what’s been working for Matt.
Roger that, just was curious because of your shaft comparison video a couple months ago. Great video. Best content on RUclips.
Great demo. While it's incredibly forgiving, would most higher handicap players achieve greater consistency of distance off the tee with the G410 3 wood? Cheers for any feedback and experience. Simon in Melbourne.
Good to see Matt swinging pain free. We the public worry about him:)
Timothy Daniels I, his partner in crime worry about him very much too!! 😂😂
I’m sure you do Ian. Hope the Easter Bunny arrives on your doorstep. Picking up my Hot Metal Pros from Chris and the boys in Burlington tomorrow AM, so the Easter Bunny is arriving early!
Phenomenal video again guys! I absolutely LOVE my G410 Plus, kicked my TS2 out of the bag
I'm tempted to try the G410 from the G400 Max. 3000 spin in the wind isn't doing my any favors. Any plans on hitting the Ping G410 Crossover? Looking to move away from the G400 4H and then swith the 3H for a G410 3H .
Ernie Mangus I’m not sure you’ll find what you’re looking for in G410. Prob too close to G400 for spin.
Erik Crossley Matt never does well with too much weight in his woods.
Great review. Can I ask you guys what you think of the Ping G410 SFT Driver ???
It would be interesting to see a video where you test smaller cc driver heads and whether you see any advantages. Especially for someone with Matt's swing speed.
How can I get a fixating experience like this with all the shafts and everything
Best driver for me hands down
Effect of torque isn't just at impact - affects throughout swing. Some players exhibit more twisting. Think Fred Couples vs Dustin Johnson..
