      I wonder if this is a US- specific problem as I have had a lot of experience with the Yema QC in Europe and here they are a 5/5 with quick responses and takes care of everything better than I could imagine. If I have a problem they are open 24/7 and they have fixed any problem I have had with my numerous Yema watches.

      @Mats Lundgren, I live in the U.S. and I’m 3 for 3 with Yema. Not a single problem, fantastic watches. They even helped me out on my first order when I forgot to put my 15% off code in and they took care of it. I’m gonna continue to buy from them.

      I've heard that Citizens after sales is poor also. I've not had any issues personally and love my watch. It's great that these things can be brought to the publics attention, and hopefully these companies can address the issues raised as customer service is a must when spending a lot of money on an item, whether a watch, a camera a car or whatever it is.

    • @kjstewys
      @kjstewys 3 года назад

      @@TheSavagederek I think the cost difference between a Citizen and a Yema is the biggest difference here. If I’m paying multiple thousands of dollars, I expect pretty darn good customer service. If I’m paying $100-$300, I am fully aware that the customer service (especially with big brands) may not be the best

    I picked up a Laco Frankfurt a few months ago, and in my collection that includes a Bremont MBII GMT, a Tudor Pelagos, and a Yema Superman, the Laco gets by far the most wrist time 🤷🏾‍♂️. It’s an excellent piece, but for some very odd reason has not been reviewed much since it’s release a couple of years ago. Concerning Yema, I’m truly befuddled by the feedback I’ve seen online and that you’ve given. I got mine about a year ago and the buying process was excellent. It got shipped out to me and arrived in a week without any issues. I haven’t have any issues with mine yet (touch wood), but thanks to the Laco, I haven’t been wearing it much 😆. As usual, great video guys… I could listen and watch you guys talk about watches for hours on end 😊👍🏾.

    Just coming up to midnight in UK and what a great way to start the weekend. Thanks guys. In celebration of the new Bond film (and Daniel Craig’s last as 007 ☹️), maybe you could debate the ultimate 007 watch. I also really like the idea another person commented about what your ultimate design concept would be for a 2022 chronograph, diver, or field watch would be.

    The Glycine Airman is an obvious no-brainer in that list. And the purist option is really a great feature !
    Sinn is delivering so much quality and features like no other. I love the UTC hand that could be hidden under the hour hand. 😎👌
    On my side I would pick the Seiko Presage Sharp Edged GMT for the dial and the movement as ’real-traveller-GMT’,
    Or the Christopher Ward c63 Sealander GMT as ’office-GMT’: you can’t beat it for the money (just released in a beautiful distressed green) and then
    For a dual time zone, it would be the Baltic Aquascaphe SB01, as the name suggests a 12h steel bezel.
    Well, as a joker/bonus, I would pick the Omega Aqua Terra worldtimer ’cause it’s just amazing. The design, the engineering, movement, quality,... 🤩

    Another great video! Thanks guys! And it’s rather thrown me into a quandary about whether to purchase the Lorier Neptune I’ve been eyeing up for so long, or going with the stunning looking Hyperion. The Neptune has something special about the way it evokes an entire era of deep sea exploration. Yet the Hyperion is one of the best looking GMT watches on the market and the colors are elegant yet just give it a pop of excitement. It’s a tough decision.

    • @Andrew.W75
      @Andrew.W75 3 года назад

      I've got the Neptune v3 Navy Blue with a gilt dial & it's a great watch. Feels great on the wrist too as the bracelet articulates really well & it almost feels like you are wearing a luxury watch. If I was nit picking I would say the arrow on the hour hand is a bit small, but apart from that it's a fantastic watch. I was originally looking for the Hyperion but it's been out of stock since at least May & I've heard of issues with the colour of the bezel being more brown than red in person & the action being very stiff (not an issue on my Neptune). If you want the Neptune I would say go for it!

      @@theurbangentry Dear Tristano, just one thought: I´m a watch guy since many decades and I wonder that no one (my wife, my two daughters, my colleagues, my friends) except my old father is interested in our hobby. I own affordable watches like my old 1973 TV screen square Seiko, my Hamilton Khahi handwinder and others + some more expensive pieces like my 1985 Fat Lady, my precious metal 6085 Rolex, my Universal Space Compax etc. and I met the only guys that appreciate the hobby in the net - like you sir or Russ i.e. "TMWC" and some others. Hallo TGV and Marc! Outstanding content, as usual!! Besançon, since the "C" has a cedilla, it is pronounced like an "S", so the final is like Italian "son" not "con" ;-) Not very important, but I know you like to know it. Also UTC has no "daylight saving time" adjustment. I really love my servers to use UTC time, easier to handle! Sorry no Russian watches, like the Poljot Arctic, I've bought one for a friend of mine, it's a beautiful watch!

    Another stellar knocked-outta-da-park video with great GMT (or Dual Time... thanks Marc!) options to consider. I particularly love the models with the ability to move just the hour hand for quick timezone adjustment. And kudos again to Marc for explaining for us the difference between GMT (a timezone) and UTC (a universal timekeeping standard). Hope I got that right. Anyway, enough "rabbiting on," here. Love your channel and all your wonderfully produced, informative and entertaining vids.

    I think 2 brands which would also be nice to review are the Christopher Ward C60 Anthropocene GMT and Norquain Neverest GMT, both beautiful watches. Great job gents, loving the series. Ciao

    Interesting timing. The two of you giving your opinion on GMTs and I just got my Batman on jubilee (what I like to call the Bruce Wayne) from the AD about 5 hours ago. Great show as usual guys!

    Gentlemen, thank you for doing this series! The only GMT I own is the Benarus GMT World Diver (I have the Blue GMT hand 43/50) it was gifted to me many years ago and still runs great and after ten years of owning it the Lume is still excellent. Hopefully one day I'll add another GMT to my collection, perhaps the Tudor Pepsi GMT...

    I would have to say the Breitling avenger gmt, aquis GMT (clarysforth reef), Tudor BB GMT, omega seamaster GMT and mido ocean star GMT are my picks. And I admit I have not handled the mido but that's why it's in last. Budget considerations would be the Baltic and steinhart.

      Nice picks 👌🏻 The Mido is a cool one, I hope they add a smaller size version!

    YEMA watches look fantastic and I want to have one but I’ve read waaaaay too many complaints of abysmal customer service and some rather serious QC issues as well. If they ever get their act together I’m first in line! Cheers guys!

      I'm the same man, their new superman heritage skin diver with the big square lumed 12 3 6 and 9 numerals in 39mm with that scale bracelet just looks like the best vintage inspired skin diver out there. Also a big fan of their Navygraf Heritage line with the maxi dial. Would probably get one if their reputation wasn't as bad... But i just don't have 800-1200euros to throw away...

      @@Csibu89 I hear ya…stunning designs but if indices are falling off and the locking collar around the crown breaks its all for not. Cheers!

      I love their design and hesitantly pre-ordered the Navygraf GMT Marine Nationale. Everything was smooth. Quality was good and the watch is running great. So far no complaints. Let see if it's lasts 🤞

    28:42 - - to check your power reserve, when the Second hand is at the "12", press the pusher at the "2". If the Second hand sweeps to the "6" you have a full charge. If it only goes to the "1 or 2" there's less than 7 days. The owner's manual provides specifics per model. Newer models have a much longer power reserve.
