How to find Chimecho on Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald

This is a guide to get Chimecho on Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.
You can only find it in that grass I found it. At the top of MT. PYRE.
It's very hard to find it. The chance of finding it, are only 2%. So you have to be patient.
In this video I used Pokemon Ruby, and some Gameshark codes ^^,
YOU DON'T NEED GAMESHARK OR OTHER CHEATS TO GET CHIMECHO.

I seriously HATE people who cheat on Pokemon games. Why bother playing it? You're just taking away all the fun.
Then let them play it without having fun :P it's there own stupid choice. No need to comment though.

meh i would cheat if im trying to get a full pokedex but i cant because im using an emulator
you have to do something before you can catch the lati's or the legendary dogs. for chimecho you dont have to. you just can go in that patch of grass and find it. for the lati's and the legendary dogs they travel all around so you dont just find them normally

If you breed Chimecho holding Pure Incense, you will get Chingling in an egg.
And Chingling evolves to Chimecho when it is happy at nightime.

I caught mine on the right side of the mountain, so it really doesn't matter.
One question, how did you get all of those rare pokemon in your party?
Do swarms still appear when the time event internal battery ran dry?
Ok, I do trust that this is not fake, but does this have to do with an update, like when you go to one of those special events where you can get rare pokemon. Do they end up updating your game? Because i keep doing this over and over and cant find him. Actually, im doing it right now, and i still cant find him. lol. (please help lol)

I was replying to the person who said they needed two Chimechoes. When you find one, catch it, and breed it, it's easier than looking for another one.

@datpoint what happens when you find latios/latias in a patch of grass... which supposedly happens.
Go to Fallarbor town, and got the the house right outside of it(the place where you get dig, and the one of the Pokemon Fossils) run around there, and should be able to find lvl 35.-40. Dittos. They're actually really common there.
not necessarily true, you can get Jirachi through the bonus disc of Pokemon Colosseum (USA only) or you can get Jirachi through the Pokemon Channel, these are both gamecube games though, which are still pretty hard to come by.

I love Chimecho! It's my favorite pokemon ^^...I own 5 in each game (Ruby, Pearl & Platinum)

I think you can get Jirachi from the Japanese "Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc" for Gamecube.

CHEATER
First open the VBA.
Then you click "File" and Open. Choose the game you have downloaded. The game should be a .gba file.
If the game is a .rar file, you must use Winrar or 7-zip to extract the folder.
Why you use the reple if you dont need it?
@MrIpodaddict its rare. the description box said 2% chance, but idk if thats accurate. but nonetheless, its rare, so just keep going, cause it could take a while.
I had 340 hours in sapphire and I never even knew this was a Gen 3 Pokemon! Today I tried to see if I can fill in the last 10 or so Pokédex entries and I was amazed and confused to find this Pokemon was not a Gen 4 as I thought haha
To get Charmeleon (or other starters from Blue/Red) you have to trade them from Fire Red or Leaf Green.
I know it is not a legendary Pokemon. But it is very rare, and you can only find it in that place.
A lot of people don't know where to get a Chimecho, and a lot of people haven't even seen a Chimecho in the game. And if you haven't seen it in the game, then you can't use the Pokedex to find where it is.
Thats why I made a walkthrough on how to find it.

If you have an Action Replay, you don't need Gameshark. Gameshark and Action Replay are very similar to each other.

Holy crap, i seriously found a Chimecho while i was watching this vid (First encounter when i hit the grass). I just put it to sleep and used an ultra ball. If that isn't a lucky coincidence, then i don't know what is. :D

Yes, but you can also find Chimecho on the same place on your Gameboy.

Ah yes, Ho-oh. In Pokemon Colosseum itself, if you purified all 48 shadow pokemon or beat that Battle 100 trainers thing, you get Ho-Oh. Now, I don't know the exacts, since I have yet to do this.
Typhlosion and Feraligatr were starters in GSC. Well, the final evolved form. Say, Bulbasaur to Venasaur.
They can be gotten by Pokemon Colosseum or Firered/Leafgreen. Colosseum had the second forms of all the GSC starters near the beginning. In FR/LG, you had to complete the pokedex....
this is how you get chimecho,im not lying,you go up to the top of mt.whateveritscalled,and you just run around in that spot,and eventually,achimecho will wppear,this is not a lie!!i dont have gameshark,hacks,or cheats,thats why i look up videos on youtube,it will take a while to get a chimecho though,i got mine in ruby on the first try!!and i was like O - O holy shit,it works...im not having such luck on emerald though :T

That's it. Now I just so happen to have to have pre-ordered Pokemon Colosseum AND have a Deoxys from an event.
If you have a DS pokemon game, I could set up a trade over Wi-Fi, since Jirachis... I can make them as fast as I can get the Pokenav in R/S/E. I'm pretty lucky.

If you have Emerald, you can clone Pokemon while they are holding an item.

if u have ruby:Latios, if you have sapphire:Latias, if u have Emerald:either Latios or Latias it changes areas along the whole game look on your pokedex and you can see where it is you come by it by luck watch tutorials
Complete the Hoenn-Dex, then Prof. Birch will give you Totodile, Cyndaquil or Chikorita.
Evolve Cyndaquil to Typhlosion.

I got 7 shinys and 4 legendaries and 3 chimecho I tried to catch them but my swampert killed them all in 20 minutes :)

you can get jirachii acording to rumors, buy getting 200 different pokemon, then you do another thing
at least you can find it in the small amount of grass compared to feebas so ill say feebas is more harder or maybe finding the mirage island XD

the VERY FIRST SQUARE i stepped in had it
a little bit later i was walking thru some grass and my repel wore off and there was about 2 squares until normal ground so i kept walkign and the SECOND one i stepped in ahd this airplane lookign hing called latiors or soemthign but it ran away~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i cannot find it i went back and walked there over and over
@JigglySpongy I think chimeco is a good pokemon. It is actually one of my favorites.
Surskit is hard to find. The swarm things are really rare, and the only swarm I ever got was a seedot one which I didn't need. Feebas was easy, because I got it in a few hours, but I've never had a surskit in emerald (I play on an emulator so I can't trade)
