Don’t do this to your PC you’ll end up messing up even more. Sometimes just disconnect the VGA wire that runs from your GPU to MB. And do a Restart.
Did that and didn't work
Also tried removing the GPU, cleaning the yellow part that connects to the MB, didn't work 😕

I had this exact same problem. I did all what was stated in the video. It started happening after a period of time. I searched the net and got my answer. My PSU had become borderline due to updating my Ram and adding some more cooling fans. I simply ran out of power to run the GPU effectively. I upgraded the PSU from 650w to 750w and hey presto all works fine. Just thought I would share this as it took me forever to get rid of this VGA debug led.

If you cabinet rgb is still on when powering up then it could be the problem with graphics card or cpu and if the rgb of your cabinet is on when booting up your pc then definitely it is the power supply i guess the power supply is dead check the power is working of not by inserting pin touching black wire and green you can watch video if you dont know how to check the smps is dead or not and also read the led debug check on which white light sits on is it on ram, cpu, vga if its sit on vga then it is the problem with graphics card

Bro really be out there saving expensive computers. Thanks, you helped me out a lot
*IMPORTANT* I plugged the dpi cable into the graphics card rather than the default port and it worked just fine. Make sure its plugged into the right port before doing all of this. It saved me a lot of work. I didn't have to unplug anything except for the dpi cable.
Thanks! This got my computer working again, I thought my graphics card died or something
do i need to put the components back and sort the jumper pin for 5mins
I faced the same problem. Taking out the cmos battery and waiting 20 minutes fixed the issue.
Hi, I bought this card from Amazon. I installed this card in my PC. All the fans work but I have a black screen with no signal. Do you think the motherboard is broken?
I once tried to install Linux pop os if I'm not mistaken and everything was working fine but after I tried to install Nvidia drivers with some command coz that's what you do on Linux everything is a command
and that was the biggest mistake of my life
my pc been on life support since , everything is switching on axcept for the display
I've tried everything on RUclips
I had this problem too with intel i7 11th gen paired with a rtx 3060ti ,showed red vga light. At first dismounted my gpu and putting back in place at every startup would solve my problem but kind of painfull to do each time. But as soon as I removed the second ram there is no more vga light and it starts up normally
Was it a RAM issue? I'm having similar issue like you
@@shLowKeyI really don’t know. I’ve put back the ram in place and now the only way to start my computer is to unplug the hdmi cable start the computer and wait until my keyboard and mouse light up then replug the hdmi and it works.
@@CustomRcCanada I figured out my issue. The VGA debug light would come on the motherboard. No POST or BIOS... After 2 mins, the BIOS would come up. I checked the storage drives and my SSD with Windows installation was not detected. So I removed the SSD and now there is no VGA light and I'm using another SSD with Windows and PC is working fine.
I found out that this white light is not only vga, a friend of mine got this issue and the issue got solved after removing all sata drives from the connections. A ssd was defect which caused the issue.
Was it sata or nvme
I have this problem. MSI Board as well....
Update:
Fixed the issue. It was all due to a faulty cougar psu.
Is it true? Mine is also MSI, and I'm still confused about replacing the PSU or motherboard
Mines odd, i have an issue whete sometimes it shows on boot up but sometimes it doesn't and later on my pc will lose display n wud crash (idle and during gaming)

Ive tried reseting bioa through cmos and jbat1 and it didnt wprk unfortunately. I get display when the gpu is in any slot but the x16, and the x16 works sometimes but stops working if i restart. Whats going on?
PSA for those who did the simple diagnostics and didn’t work. Try either cleaning the PCiE slot. If your CPU has a IGPU, run the IGPU (remove the dedicated GPU and just run with CPU) and see if it posts. If it does not and the CPU is a known good CPU, sadly your board is a bust.
It’s really weird what happened in my case. I was using my old motherboard because I couldn’t use my current one because the cpu was busted, when the new cpu arrived I installed everything from the old board to the new one and it posted except for the gpu (even though it was working on the old one) then I switched back to the old one and used 2 different gpu’s and both didn’t work. So it’s not likely to be the motherboard, it could be the psu or rams or ssd or basically anything. I’m so frustrated
@@Nb_2089 I'm in the same situation. New motherboard, new PSU, tested different ram, different PSU, different GPU, and still can't find the source of the problem.
@@danobra
For me the issue was the pcie slot itself, it just stopped working. I installed the gpu to the lower x4 slot and it worked so I ordered a new mobo and tested on it and everything worked
Bro I have the same problem but the slot worked for an old 710 I tried, my gpu isnt detected at all in task manager and its not the ram or the cpu. This is really frustrating. Any solutions would be welcome.
Finally, a helpful video
MASSIVE THANK YOU CHEERS MY MAN...HELPED FIX MY MSI M.BOARD..
this happened to me and I was experiencing this for a month. I did all the things from this and other tutorials but still did not fix it. I finally went to a repair shop and they removed something from the back and its fixed. I asked what he removed and he said it was a cable going to my HDD. I was like, I dont have a HDD. he showed it to me and I remembered I actually have an HDD before and maybe because the HDD broke for a long while back and did not show up in my available drives for so long I forgot about it. Faulty HDD was the cause. Boot had to read and check the HDD before actually booting up causing the long boot sequence
nah
Same exact problem, same exact solution. Thanks a bunch @Inbanzon❤❤
Do I put the bios battery back in then short the pins to reset the bios ?
First push the power button several times while everything is disconnected, this dissipates any power left in the computer. Short the bios reset pins then replace the battery. You don't need to spend 5 minutes shorting the pins. It works the second you connect them. The same thing with his 20 minutes of waiting. After unhooking everything hit your power button. These operations happen as you do them. A 20-minute wait doesn't do anything but waste 20 minutes.
Thank you for the reply I will do that hope you have a good day :) @@CharlesSmith-io9fp

Now nada stuck on yellow/green light
hello, i have a problem sometimes my gpu is detected and sometimes not with white debug led on my motherboard. When it's not i just need to restart my pc by the power button and it's run ok. Someone can help me ?
I'm having the exact same problem. I checked all the cables that connect to the MSI monitor that connect to the PC and they were all secure and not loose. Took out the RAM out from the MSI motherboard and reinserted the RAM and it only fixed it temporarily. Did the same thing with the graphics card which is about a 7 year old AMD card and hoovered as much dust with the soft head that I could get off, which was dust around the part of the graphics card that slides into the graphic card slot, dust from the fans, the rest of the body of the card.
Now my PC is showing display as it should be, but I don't know how long this will last.
As I turned the PC on, I thought I would look at the EZ Debug lights as it was turning on and noticed that the one for VGA was white but turned off again.
Going by this, I am only thinking that my problem MIGHT be down to the graphics card, but if someone who is an expert on these things would hopefully read what I typed they could make a better assessment of the situation.
What I noticed when I started my PC after putting the RAM back in, was that my PC was starting up faster for some reason, then go back to the speed it was usually starting up at which was sort of stuttery....
I have no idea.
my motherboard gigabyte H410M H V2 (rev. 1.8) does not support my AMD RX 580 8 GB GPU, what to do ? appreciate your help...thanks
I has d6 and white light on msi x570s carbon, 3090. I no idea what hell is that.
Check your ram, try to remove your ram one by one. The internet is full of answers but with msi and not bootinhg vga error led this is the solution. Some ram slots are too harsh to lock.
I have to use jumper on 24pin for turn on pc but still showing no signal. Cpu is not heating up
Swap your RAM (try a couple different arrangements) before doing anything crazy
Is this really going to work? What is the difference of quickly shorting the cmosclear pin and leaving it more than 5 minutes?
That's what I'm thinking
None. 15 seconds or 15 minutes it is all the same.
instructions unclear my pc became a jet fan
I just remove my gpu now it won't turn on it say no input cignal

hey guyz i visited this video because i just ordered a prebuilt pc, its been 3 days already since i had it. it didnt even came with hdmi and power cord so i bought one from store a standard one. then i kept on testing the system to detect any possible issues then maybe on the second day i think i noticed mystic light cant save my rgb profiles for my fans and ram whenever i restart the system the fans may change its lights effect and the ram rgb goes to default so i have to set them back again to my liking. but then on my 3rd day of running the system for general testing of its general health, as i just came back from the washroom i noticed the fans are not spinning and all lights are turned off and i saw a blue led light next to the power button kept on blinking so i researched it in the interned so maybe its hibernating or on sleep. so i pressed the power on thank god it came back on BUT the rgb from my fans and ram are not working anymore so i restarted my system BUT THEN A WHITE LIGHT FROM THE MOTHER BOARD FLASHED for a couple of seconds and then went away. GUYZ im not a tech guyz i cant follow these steps here SHOULD I BE WORRIED and RETURN THIS PC???? IM AFRAID SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY PSU? ITS DEEPCOOLPM850D. my system config is i713700k ddr5 32 ram 4070ti tia.
Read the led debug light from your motherboard carefully when you bootup check the light is it sit on vga or cpu or ram if its sits on vga light then it is a problem with bios they used faulty motherboard or they flashed the motherboard bios (flashing the bios is very risky once flash cannot never go back to the old orginal version and if its stuck during bios flash it will ruin the motherboard) i think it is the problem with the motherboard using old used motherboard components when building a pc could be also the problem i also had this problem many times ask your seller is the motherboard under warranty and ask is it new or not and also here the thing you can try remove the cmos battery from your motherboard for about 1 minutes and boot up your pc without battery and see it solve the problem removing the battery will reset bios i hope this will be helpful anyway my English is bad but i hope you understand what i am saying
@@Babinmeitei thanks for the fast reply sir your english is perfect. the company for sure will claim that all is brandnew i paid this system after tax 3.5kcad so it should all be brandnew. iforgot to mention the motherboard btw its z690 pro wifi A from msi. the white light is found at the right top corner of the motherboard, unfortunately i dont feel competent to do what you have done on this video since im afraid il might do something else which can further damage the system. definitely i will contact tech support later on the day and i might just return this system ITS REALLY A HASSLE but what can i do. for my status of living that price is not easy for me to earn so i deserve a good system for what i paid for. last question sir if i need to return this do i really have to package it just like how i recieved it? i find it so tedious how they did it tho.. thanks!
@@chadlineage Yes bro you have to repack same like how it received and if there is replacement policy then do it as soon as possible and calling tech support is also a good option hope they will solved the problem and one question do you plug the hdmi cable to the graphics card port not on the motherboard hdmi replug on the graphics card port try changing and see if its solved the problem
the fck il have to insert those cushions back inside the cpu, damn these guyz really gave me a hassle.. they even forgot to include the powercord and HDMI cable i mean why couldnt the quality control even thought of making sure as its part of the important components of their system and how can i turn on his system and test it without the powercable i just feel theres no heart and quality there .
